Correct si @peach17 - lahat tayo ganyan lumalabas right at the very start... WHEN the time comes that you will be assigned a CO, it will be update as per exact requirement.

To give you an example - yung mga above items na nilista mo, naging NOT REQUIRED na sya as it does not apply to our specific case...

pero tama nga, nakakalito at first. kasi bat nila nilalagay pa yan sa list.
Sinabi mo pa @peach17 - nakakalito talaga ang uploading sa eVisa system nila. it also doesn't help the fact that (1) super mabagal mag-upload and (2) sometime, the docs you upload will not be saved in the system.

Just hang on there!! Lapit na iyan...

@lock_code2004 .. sir, ano po ba mas advisable, reliable at mas madaling sundan.. paper based application or online application.. marami kasi ako nababasa na nalilito sa mga input ng online...

as far as i know, pareho lang ang mga forms online or paper-based ..
kung anu ang kailangan sagutan online, ganun din sa paper-based application..

either way, kailangan intindihan mabuti, double check before submitting the application..
the only difference, sa paper-based pag nagkamali ka (before submitting), you can print another form, and then complete it again..

ang gingawa ko, sa mga online forms, before submitting it, i make a pdf copy and print it..
then i review ung printed copy..
as i always say, double check anything, let someone read/check it for your..

Bago lang po ako dito,
Base po sa mga nababasa ko sa threads, after you lodged visa 189 it takes 1 to 2 months to grant your visa? totoo po ba un? sabi kasi ng agent ko up to 12 months daw po... Just wondering...... nasa Dubai po ako ngaun at uuwi na sa Pinas this February kasi po nardundant ako or I lost my job due to reccession. Gusto ko lang po ng time frame..... By migration agent po ako nag apply.

Status ko po:
July 2012 - IELTS ,
Aug 2012 - Applied for EA,
Jan 2013 - Received EA approval,
23 Jan 2013 - eoi submitted
04 Feb 2013 - Received invitation
11 Feb 2013 - Lodge visa 189

Our application took a little more than a month lang - lately though, there has been backlog and the TAT is definitely more than previous months.

It could take longer if ma-refer yung medicals mo. But it will definitely not reach a year if okey naman lahat.

I have lodged my visa and uploaded the docs except for health and nbi this week. I'd like to update our google spreadsheet to indicate my timeline but I am not sure on the Date of Acknowledgement? Is there a separate email aside from the auto-generated email from diac? Thanks in advance

Hello all, been lurking on the forum for a couple of months now, but this is my first post. Just lodged my 190 visa last Feb. 25th, and got my acknowledgement email on the same day. I must say I've learned a lot from reading the different threads and everyone seems very supportive here.

Thanks, @lock_code2004. That's encouraging to hear na mabilis ang 190. Hopefully everything goes well for those still in the process of securing their visas.

I have a question though regarding uploading of documents online. Say for example nagkamali in uploading a specific document (ex. yung na upload is not the certified true copy), meron ba option to undo dun sa online portal? Or does one just proceed to upload the correct document into the system? Would it be advisable to just wait for the assigned CO, and then inform him/her about it, or they may just ask for it then? Would love to hear inputs in this scenario.

Nagkamali din ako before and I got a bit stressed at first because there is no undo function sa eVisa page. Upload mo lang ulit with the correct attachment. CO should be able to understand that may revision - otherwise itatanong naman ito...

nagkamali rin ako ng upload... advise ni @psychoboy upload na lang yung tama or hintayin yung CO... sa case ko, hintayin ko na lang yung CO...

Hello po. Meron na po akong CO after how many weeks of waiting. My CO asked me additional documents such as (1) Bank Statements showing payment of salaries into personal bank accounts and (2) Taxation Office tax assessments.

Yung problema ko ang second item Taxation Office tax assessment... I am employed in the same company since 2001 to present pero wala na ako copy ng ITR ko from 2001-2007 and our accounting office can not provide me a copy of it. I went to BIR pero wala din dahil dini dispose daw nila mga tax files nila every 3 years. Ask ko lang po kung paano ninyo na manage ang pagkuha nito? Or okay lang ba na ang ibigay ko sa CO ko ay from 2008-2012 lang? Dito lang talaga ako nahirapan kasi pinasa-pasa ako ng accounting office namin at BIR.

Give what you can give to your CO - and inform them of your dilemma. At this point kasi, the way I see it wala ka magagawa... So best to inform your CO about it so he can ask for other stuffs in lieu of the Tax Assessment.

@jovsnet tama po si @psychoboy and @hotshot. It's best to inform your CO kasi sila ang makakapag-advise Kung anong alternatives na pwede mo I-provide in lieu of those documents.
