I suggest you need to read more on acs guideline to understand more about how many years they will deduct from your experience and why they do it.

A qualification from section 3 institution is not equivalent to an AQF bachelors degree.

Naka list sya 2x and one of them is Section 1 and one of them is section 3. "Far Eastern University Institute of Technology" and "FEU Institute of Technology" is iisa lang po. Ask lang po if we happen to know whether it's in section 1 or 3? Maraming salamat!

Sa list kasi of schools dalawa sya, Far Eastern University Institute of Technology (Section 1) and FEU Institute of Technology (Section 3). Not sure if na demote sya or it was upgraded? Any insights on this would help.

I also have experience in project management/project coordination, which requires only an associate degree. Do you think I should nominate this instead?

I’m a migration agent and not an assessor. All I could say is as long as the criteria is met then I don’t see why it will be an issue. All the best.

I want to try PR pathway although my school is under section 2 only, are there other ways I can pursue a positive assessment? What could be my other options? Will my work experience suffice or are the online courses I can take for me to compensate with my school's section?

I am not a CPA and been working sa Finance/Investment Bank/Accounting Operations for 18 years na po.

TIP: If there's no response to your post yet, try availing some "initial consultation" from a migration agency. Ganyan kasi ginawa ko wayback 2021 (with Respall) to confirm my eligibility for Australian PR.

(I remember paying around 1500 - 2000 pesos for that consultation. But I didn't sign the contract with them at napakamahal ~~ then I found this forum.)

This way, you'll have an idea which you can and cannot claim points for and what visa you may be eligible to apply. Sa consultation, they will ask your background/profile and they will only produce an initial assessment report based on the facts you'll give them.

So from there, alam mo na most likely ilan points ang macclaim mo for each eligibility criteria, ano magiging assessing body mo / anzsco na pasok ang work mo, etc. You just have to look for a reputable one para wala namang over promising na maganap.

Sa school, namention na sa forum na to na wala na tayo masyadong magagawa sa school sectioning and its corresponding educ level sa Australia. Might as well bawiin nalang sa ibang criteria ang points. Goodluck!

Also I tried other agencies their initial assessment (ito po ung free) na I can proceed daw with the PR Visa 189 and they used my school as a basis since may MBA naman daw po ako. Then I found this forum and silently reading po. Medyo gulo lang kc ako kung ano gagawin ko. Btw ung consultation sa Migration Mate ung kakausap kn ng migration lawyer is almost 10k so medyo pricey po.
