example po ako ung primary applicant, PR granted na ako, at the same time PR granted din sya, kailangan nya ba mag pa assessment din at dumaan sa registration ng AHPRA, para makapag work sa Australia ?

A PR visa means you can live and work here permanently. It doesn't automatically grant you registration for regulated professions. So kailangan nya pa rin i-follow yung steps to become an RN here.

Now, if she doesn't plan to work as an RN, for example she will work as an aged care worker instead then no need for AHPRA registration.

Kung yung mini-mean mo sa "assessment" ay yung vini-verify or ina-assess ang qualification for migration purposes, like sa EA for engineers, ACS for computer science related courses, ANMAC for nursing, etc. eh hindi na po kailangan dahil sabi mo nga eh granted na ang visa nya as dependent mo.

@MTfighter PR is different. Kung RN ka sa Pinas and wanting to be AuRN, need mong mag register under AHPRA and to be able to do that dadaan ka sa process 1. Conversion program 2. OBA pathway. Goodluck!

Alam ko may self-check sa APHRA website for international RN.

Para maging registered nurse sa AU, conversion program or OBA pathway. OBA Pathway lang familiar ako kailangan mag take ng NCLEX-AU o kung may NCLEX US na pwede score transfer tapos pwede na mag take OSCE tapos registration na.

She is free to work any job that does not require any registration since PR na sya. However, kung gusto nya magwork as registered nurse here, there is a process and registering with AHPRA is only a fraction of the process.

Thank you.

    Bukod sa Seek and LinkedIn?

Usually daan ka muna sa 482 then after 1 year request ka for 186 sponsorship.

    hello all,

need advice.. my sister wants to come here in Austraia as SV enrolling in certificate of aged care since my recent news na my pathway na ang age care dito sa aus.

    disclaimer:
she applied for SV 500 last March 2020 , AGe Care and she was refused a visa so medyo doubtful kami if pwede ba xa mag apply ulit. ang reason ng refusal is wala daw xa experience sa AGe care... meron din ibang agents nag suggest na mas high chances daw if higher education ang itake niya like Nursing..

need advice and insights po 🙏🏻🙏🏻
    TIA

Ask ko lng po kung pede pa magpa-assess ng skills wife ko either for nurse or other health related field even though more than 10 years na po syang hindi nag-wowork but still active po ung nurse license nya sa pinas. She has also 5 years of experience as an ER nurse sa pinas then around 6 months work experience as ER enrolled nurse sa SG but that is more than 10 years ago also :-).

Plan ko po kasi is makuha lng ung additional 10 points ng wife ko except 5 pts since matagal na sya out of work. So I am thinking po na humanap ng assessing body na pede ma-assess ung nursing or health related profession nya by merely using his previous work experience. Meron po ba kyong idea or suggestion, whether it is Ahpra or other assessing body that we can try?

Are there AHPRA registered nurses in here who are based overseas?

    Hello

Baka meron kayong contact na hospitals dyan na nag-ooffer ng Visa Sponsorship for 186 or 482 for Operating Room (Theatre) Nurse?

    Good day po,

For Registered Nurse (Community Health) - non-clinical, may chance naman ma-approve ng AHPRA, given complete docs?

If ever, pwede po kaya magpa-assess sa ANMAC muna, before AHPRA? Or madedecline lang kapag walang AHPRA reg? Thanks po
