Hi Everyone. I just received my PR Visa SB 189 this November. I immediately attended CFO/PDOS and got the digital certificate. During the seminar, they shared the list of requirements to present to PH immigration. Ok lang po paki verify for those who have made the BM post-September 2023 (new immigration guidelines)?

    1. Passport - valid more than 6 months
    2. Visa/Residence Card -> eVisa via VEVO
    3. CFO Document - Digital Certificate
      4. Airline Ticket - 1 way or round trip?
    4. etravel.gov.ph eTravel Departure card - Select "Emigrant"
    5. Travel Tax - TEZA
    6. Other Visa docs. Visa Grant Letter Australia.
    7. Airline Passenger Profile Declaration Form (airline) TBD, depends on the airline.
    8. BOI - Travel Declaration and acceptance of Terms and Risks Form - download from Buereau of Immigration
    9. Traze QR Code - traze.ph. Contact Tracing or Malasakit Helpdesk.
      11. Declaration of Funds. PH BSP Annex K Form. PH Entry and Exit. USD 10K threshold.
    10. COVID 19 Pre test requirement - no need
      13. Travel and Health Insurance
    11. Other Documents. Birth Cert, School Records, Education, Prof, Employment, Health, Financial, other forms of identification.
    12. Destination Country Online Declaration for arriving individuals. (IPC provided during flight)
    13. ICV BoQ Vaccination, DOH Cert, Vaccination Cards
    14. Photocopies of the above

    Questions:
    1. One-way po dapat yung plane ticket?
    2. Saan po kayo kumuha ng Travel Insurance? Sa AXA need po ng return flight, ano po ilalagay doon?
    3. Saan po kayo kumuha ng Health Insurance? Tinry ko sa AIA Australia need nila ng Medicard kaagad. If Medicard naman, need ng AU Bank Account AND date of arrival in Australia. Paano ko po maipapakita yung Health Insurance sa PH Immigration?
    4. Hiningan po ba kayo ng PH Immigration ng Currency Declaration Form PH BSP Annex K? Less than 10,000 USD po dadalhin ko.

    Answer:

    1. Since you're already PR, one way ticket is okay.
    2. No need travel insurance.
    3. Ipakita mo ang Printed CFO certificate (very important) and Visa Grant Document.
    4. Medicare, Aus Bank, you may process later once nandito kana Aus.

    Congrats!

Pag dito na sa Aus na grant ang PR, do I still need CFO? Been here since Feb 2019 on an SV, uwi ako in 2 weeks so I wanna know if need to pabalik. Di sya hinanap nung umuwi ako last June on 491 e

    No need na ng CFO

Hello MLBS, I don't have a concrete answer on this. But I found a post from other thread. Different scenario but this may relate to your inquiry.

    Sorry 2 more questions.
    1. Need ba sa PH immigration ng proof of address in Australia?
    2. Ok lang ba na may employer pa ako sa PH while migrating to Australia (remote work muna until I find a job)?

No, you don't need NBI clearance. It would be unusual for an immigration officer to look for it, just like if they ask for your birth certificate, yearbook, etc.

UPDATE: Pwede kayong mag register ng Medicare online through myGov linked services (not sure whether someone posted about this already). Of course, dapat may myGov ka muna :)

When you try linking Medicare in myGov for the first time, it will give you an option to enrol from there.

The online form will ask for your passport and visa grant letter only. Once the form is submitted, you can track the application in myGov as well.

After 1 day, my application was approved, and the Medicare card number is provided to me in myGov right away. This is really good for those who need to immediately avail medical services because there is no need to call Medicare and get the card number.

The physical card will be delivered in 3-4wks. Will post another update once it's delivered. :)

EDIT 1: Applicable to PR visa holders only (189, 190, etc).

EDIT 2: After 1.5wks, my physical card arrived. Success! :D

No, di kami nag inform. There is no need, I believe. They were able to track it through our airport entry.

We use the same thing plus PH Passport as identification. And soon the Medicare card. So far, wala naman kaming encounter na nanghingi more than that.

It worked. Would you know kasi I saw a post na online lang din daw po yung TFN application.

Based kasi sa website, may need pang at least 2 secondary documents.

For TFN, you have to be onshore. Info about the online application can be found here: https://www.ato.gov.au/individuals-and-families/tax-file-number/apply-for-a-tfn/foreign-passport-holders-permanent-migrants-and-temporary-visitors-tfn-application

Hiningi lang sakin kung tama alala ko ay mobile number, local address (TFN will be mailed to this address) and passport. Upon entering your passport number, malalaman kung onshore ka or hindi. The system wont allow you to proceed if you are still offshore. Hope this helps.

Centrelink is the facility for government payments and services (ayuda in short). Di pa kami nag register nito. Kasi wala naman kaming eligible upcoming government payments. The online registration form will ask for that information, so we are unable to proceed.

Hi Guys, for those who recently had their BM, anong airline kayo nagbook? I read before na Qantas would be better because of the baggage allowance pero would like to get your inputs. Wala kasi akong nakikita so far na puro Cebpac lang, mostly will have to transfer to another airline during the layovers. Thanks!

Hello, you can check Singapore Airlines. They have great service and the baggage check-in allowance is 30kg. However, it is not a direct flight. There will be a layover in Singapore. You can choose between 12hrs or 24hrs layover if I remember it correctly. Then the connecting flight is still Singapore Airlines from SG to AU.

I’m expecting that this may take a while because of the pandemic and the current situation in Australia. I just have to wait for the federal government’s advice on when it will open again.

    2022

Jul 5: IELTS – Since my IELTS exam result was expiring on Aug 16, 2022, I booked my 2nd IELTS Computer-delivered Test for SGD$ 378. My test date was on Jul 17, 2022. I didn’t know at that time that Australia is accepting its validity for 3 years. But I was able to use it as well for my Canada PR application.
Jul 17: IELTS – It was my test day. Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing were all taken on this day.
Jul 20: IELTS – My test results came out. L: 8.0 R: 9.0 W: 7.0 S: 7.5 which is Proficient English. It is equivalent to 10 points in EOI.
Jul 25: EOI – I received a notice that my EOI is expiring on August 23, 2022, so I had to resubmit it.
Aug 23: EOI – My Expression of Interest (EOI) in SkillSelect expired after 2 years.
Aug 25: EOI – I submitted my new Expression of Interest (EOI) in SkillSelect.

    My points breakdown:
    Age: 25
    English Language Ability: 10
    Education: 15
    State Nomination: 5
    Years of Experience: 15
    Total: 70 points

*Invitation rounds for NSW nominations under the Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) were still closed. It’s expected to open in November 2022. I hope I get invited before my birthday because I will lose points during an age milestone on December.

Sep 09: EOI – After a long wait, NSW’s Skilled Visa Nomination Program finally opened. However, my skill points for my nominated occupation didn’t meet the minimum points required which is 90. I only had 70 points. I updated my EOI and changed my preferred state to Victoria, which only requires a minimum of 65 points. I then created an account in the Live In Melbourne portal and submitted my Registration of Interest (ROI).

Dec XX: EOI – My points went down to 60 points due to an age milestone and I am now not qualified for at EOI in the Australian Skillselect. My only hope is to get higher points in my English exam to get back in the pool. I withdrew my EOI and ROI in Victoria.
    Dec19: – I booked my PTE English Test for USD$ 260 (SGD$ 367.11). My exam date was on Dec 30, 2022.
Dec 30: PTE – I took the PTE Academic English Test. My test results came out the same day: L: 84 R:84 S: 90 W: 75. I didn’t get the scores that I needed to achieve Superior English.
Dec 31: PTE – I booked another PTE English Test for USD$ 260 (SGD$ 361.28). My exam date was on Jan 09, 2023.

    2023

Jan 09: PTE – It was my test day. The results came out on the same day: L: 90 R:85 S: 90 W: 80. I finally got the points that I needed to get Superior level of English.
Jan 10: EOI – I lodged my EOI for NSW Visa 190 and was able to reach 70 points again to qualify for an invitation. By this time, the minimum points for all occupations were already removed by NSW.
Jan 12: PTE – Booked my wife’s PTE English Test for USD$ 291.60 (SGD$ 401.85). Her exam date was on Jan 20, 2023.
Jan 20: PTE – It was my wife’s test day. The results came out on the same day. She got a Competent English result which is additional 5 points on my EOI for Partner’s Qualifications (English).
Jan 21: EOI – I updated my NSW 190 EOI. I now have 75 points.

    My points breakdown:

I think 25kg na lang ngayong ang SQ from manila to OZ

Hi @_sebodemacho did you email DHA po upon arrival ninyo informing them na dumating na kayo dito sa Au?

No, di kami nag inform. There is no need, I believe. They were able to track it through our airport entry.

We use the same thing plus PH Passport as identification. And soon the Medicare card. So far, wala naman kaming encounter na nanghingi more than that.

@_sebodemacho Basic pa lang kasi yung digital identity ko sa myGovID since passport with visa pa lang yung amin. nilink niyo po ba yung digital identity sa myGov then, applied for Medicare?

Nag apply muna ako ng Medicare before linking myGovID to myGov. Tataas kasi yung level mo sa myGovID with Medicare card e.

Thank you for this! laking tulong! kahapon ko pa hinahanap yung application online link for this. nakapag-apply na rin kami sa wakas. Would you know ba if we can get our TFN before 28 days? kahit yung number lang muna?

For centrelink, based nga rn sa research ko, more of concessions, benefits or ayuda nga ng government. For visas approved beyond 2019, required na ng residency period for each type of concessions para maging eligible for the benefits pero may iba kasi na no need ng residency like child support, etc. I'm still looking, how to apply yung centrelink card only. If meron ngang ganun. hehe.

May I know saang state po kayo @_sebodemacho ?

EDIT: Applicable to PR visa holders only (189, 190, etc).

Did you find a job in AU while you are in SG and pinayagan ka nila magremote work from SG? not sure kung tama pagkakaintindi ko. Nasa SG pa kasi ako now, and trying to submit online applications. Thanks

Di ko ito sure. I would imagine it might be similar to TFN, that the system is able to detect whether you are onshore already. But you can always try. Malay mo mag proceed :D

Ah nice, onshore na pala kayo. Yes, darating yung TFN in a week. :)

Sa VIC kami. All the best!

Nice, same po pala tayo.
