Hi gemini. Anong age group ang target mo? Ako kasi sa preschool ako.childcare assistant yung tawag nila dito.usually bago ka makapasok, hahanapan ka nila ng Certificate III in children's services. Course yun dito na ite take mo for 6 months. Mga 2-3 days a week ang session.. Nung nagapply ako, wala p ko nun certificate pero kiconsider nila ko dahil may experience ako sa special needs. So nung natapos ko yung course medyo tinaasan na nila yung sweldo. Pag wlang certificate mga $aud15-18 per hour. Nung makuha ko cert ko ginawa nila $22.

@veenus18ph Hi! Welcome here! Yan din nalaman ko sa nabasa-basa ko about teaching in Australia, aside from IELTS pagdating doon meron pa sila papatake na English test, yun nga ata yung PEAT and me required band scores din yata sa test na yan????

Ayan nman kung gusto mo mag apply as a teacher sa public schools. Bago ka kasi makapasok sa public school kelangan meron kang Teacher Registration. May website sila.. Nsw dept of education and training check mo. Galing ako dun. Isusubmit m sa knila documents mo tapos bibigyan ka nila ng STATEMENT OF ELIGIBILTY. pag ok sa kanila documents mo tska ka nila pakukuhanin ng english test. PEAT ang tawag. Sa pagkakaalam ko kapag valid pa ang ielts mo pwede na yun sa knila d ka n mag PEAT. mas ok kung valid pa yung ielts mo para wag ka n umulit ng IELTS dito. Mababa sila dito magscore sa ielts. Halos lahat nadidisappoint dahil sobrang baba nila magbigay dito. mataas pa nman ang ielts reqt for teachers overall 8 yta, pachek n lng sa website.

On the other hand, kung sa private schools ka nman mag apply, hindi n kelangan ng teacher registration sa pagkakaalam ko. Independent kasi sila, sila ang magdedecide kung gusto ka nila i-hire. Sa catholic schools nman ang alam ko, gusto na din nila yung may teacher registration. Nagtry kasi ako magapply sa catholic school e hinanapan ako nun.

At least me idea ako na talagang malaki kita dyan compared sa Asian countries for teachers· Wala akong target age pa pero preferred ko yubg ages 6-10. Kasi if mahirap mag-apply as teacher jan, ok na ko kahit assistant teacher. Thanks again. :-)

At least me idea ako na talagang malaki kita dyan compared sa Asian countries for teachers· Wala akong target age pa pero preferred ko yubg ages 6-10. Kasi if mahirap mag-apply as teacher jan, ok na ko kahit assistant teacher. Thanks again. :-)

hello everyone! isa rin ako sa mga kagaya ng iba na sinyo na di makapasa sa ielts. hehehe R-6.5 speaking-8.5 writing- 7.5 and listening 7.5. But you know what guys, me teaching registration na ako. nag try ako mag apply ng teacher registration an i was granted valid until 2016. sa tingin nyo kaya pwede na ako mag apply for state sponsorship kahit wala akong assessment sa AITSL. alam ko kc di ako papasa sa AISTL kc ng dapat all 7 ang ielts. sana me makapag bigay sakin ng advise or sana merong me experience ng kagaya ko. thanks... kung gustong mag email sakin here is my email add- [email protected]. @shai hello - gud that you are already registered. aitsl is very strict when it comes to IELTS - kayang kaya mo na un - take IELTS again - .5 nalang keri mo na! then... need tlaga skill assessment for EOI and SS...

Hi Shai. Nandito ka ba sa Au? Pano ka nabigyan ng teacher registration di ba 7-8 din ang ielts na required. Since meron ka nman teacher registration, try mo mag apply na directly sa public schools. san ka ngtake ng ielts? Mababa kasi sila magbigay dito sa Au. Sa pinas ka n lng magtake if uuwi ka. Or kaya nman, sabi nila medyo mataas daw magbigay ng grade sa ielts sa university of wollongong try mo kaya magtake dun.

Hi kwinjo. San ka nag aral? Kelangan kasi equivalent sa australian degree yung qualification mo. Kaya ko tinatanong kasi baka lang alam ko yung specific school mo kung ano equivalent. Nasa childcare ako. Nag aral pa ko dito kahit teacher na ko satin. D kasi credited yung school ko e.

Sa ngaun iniisip ko na uuwi nlng cguro ako ng pinas at palaguin ung business na nasimulan ng parents ko with my ipon while undergoing a serious thorough review for the IELTS. IELTS nlng talaga kulang ko. Its like as good as the visa na. But this is still my plan. NOT FINAL YET sayang din kasi ang opportunity ko dito.</blockquote

Sa pinas ka ba nag exam? Mas mataas magbigay ng ielts sa pinas sa pagkakaalam ko. Pwede rin siguro mag enrol ka sa review centre pra mas matutukan mo yung review. Sayang nman ielts n lng pala kulang mo. Go for it na.

Hello. I'm new here and I am quite overwhelmed by the information I have browsed. Medyo marami po akong tanong, sana po may makatulong or mag-enlighten sa akin. I have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and I am already a registered nurse here in the Philippines. However, I was just forced to take this course and now lang ako nagaaral ulit ng gusto ko talaga. I'm currently taking up 18 units of professional education subjects. Hopefully, matapos ko siya by May 2013 and I plan to take the LET this September 2013. I have pending applications na for teaching positions in some schools and I hope makapasok ako by June. May plano ako mag turo sa Australia after a year or two of teaching here. My boyfriend will be working as a nurse in Adelaide in a year's time and he wants me to move there na rin. Are there a lot of opportunities for Filipino teachers in Adelaide? By the way, I really want to teach in pre-school/childcare. Do I need to take a certain course or short program first before I can apply in Adelaide? I heard kasi na you need a bridging program before you can apply for registration in Australia's Board of Teaching. I'm not sure if its a case to case basis. And I have no idea yet about the process or other requirements. Help please? Thanks

Early Childhood ang wife ko and we plan to migrate pero I will be the Primary Applicant (I.T).

Reading from your post above, Early Childhood ba ang industry mo sa Pinas?

Gusto ko sanang malaman ang mga requirements sa'yo sa AU assuming nag-apply ka initially sa mga Early Childhood schools.

Also, maari bang malaman kung gaano katagal dapat mag-aral to get an equivalent Australian Degree?

I apologize to ask a lot from you. Gusto ko lang din makapagtrabaho si wife sa line niya as an Early Childhood.

marami pong classification ng teachers sa SOL/CSOL.. (early childhood, special needs, primary)

i believe yung primary teacher eh nasa CSOL...
- so you need to check kung anung state ang available for SS..
- plus tumaas daw po ang IELTS requirement for assessment.. back read kayo konti.. i believe may 2 components na kailangan 8, tapos academic pa..

nabanggit mo na check kung anung state ang available for SS, hindi ba pwede ang visa 189 pra sa nominated occupation na to? i mean, kailangan talga meron sila State Sponsorship at visa 190 lang ang pwede. pacencya na.

@wynx - yes.. just like what i said.. yung specific occupation na "Primary Teacher" ay nasa CSOL (meaning kailangan ng state visa 190/regional visa 489 sponsorship) at wala sa SOL..

kung kaya ng skills/qual nya na magnominate ng ibang teacher like, special needs, child care...etc... na nasa SOL, then pwde sya mag apply ng visa 189..

at least 7 for Reading and Writing
at least 8 for Listening and Speaking

very demanding. hehehe

Glad to have found this thread. I'm planning to lodge my AITSL assessment application pa lang. Solo application, no agent. I've taken my IELTS already, and now on to the next step, which is having my educational credentials assessed.

I was an AB Psych undergrad and MA SPED grad... I didn't take the CPE route and went straight to MA. What should I place in my Initial Teacher Education Qualification?
