Baka po meron kayong resources for tips and tricks for Read Aloud? Hindi ko po kasi ako makakuha ng more than 70 sa APEUni huhu

Yes tama si @Conboyboy madami resources sa APEUNI , i personally like RA part - once makuha mo yung flow ,no hesitation at tone na hindi ka parang naghahabol , do not pause if not needed sa pagbabasa, na parang nahahawig na sa mga reporter sa TV . I can send you one recording i did with APEUNI if gusto mo ,so you can have a comparison bahaha.

Thanks po sa help niyo. Prinactice ko po all day kahapon yung RA and finally nakuha ko na po yung technique hehe

Sa Repeat Sentence naman po ako ngayon nahihirapan :'(

Repeat sentence meron din sa APEuni. Learn how the algo scores your RS. Ito ata yung you can add a few words here and there and just try to complete the sentence.

Aside from apeuni, for RS inaral ko din kay jimmysem ata yung meron RS EASY MEDIUM AND DIFFICULT.

Practice mid and difficult (more compex sentences) so you can train your thoughts well. Writing notes doesnt work for me, more of preparation, good night sleep, dropping all the worries outside PTE test and focusing on acing it lang. Dont worry about your plugged flatiron/rice cooker or if you have fed your bird/dog.

In the end, 1 difficult lang ata nakuha ko. The rest were easy and mid.

Repeat Sentence - in speaking or in writing naman it worked naman sa akin yung ,mag susulat ng initials for every article or word na nasambit ng test speaker

( from there uulitin ko na sya na may conviction- kasabay na iniimagine ko yung scenario - na halimbawa nasa lecture hall , or nagtatanong ng direction, nag eenroll ng units sa school etc. nakakatulong na may visuals ako sa isip ko. I dunno cguro akin lang to bahaha)

Another one is half memorise mo yung sentence then half isulat na yung initials for every word of the sentence in the end.

Use whatever technique yung mag wowork para sayo.

The top three states where CE applicants have been invited and lodged are determined based on their English score competencies. Additionally, as of March 31, 2024, certain states show a preference for applicants with superior scores.

    Describe image :

Victoria (VIC) demonstrates a robust preference for applicants with superior scores, closely followed by New South Wales (NSW).
Meanwhile, Western Australia (WA) exhibits a significant intake of candidates with proficient scores, with NSW following suit. Lastly, Queensland (QLD) also participates in this intake process

hingi po sana ko review habits at diskarte. medyo busy po sa work as IT at madalas OTY kaya naisip ko po maglaan ng at least an hour a day magreview.will that be enough? medyo mahina din po sa speaking at writing.

this thread actually has A LOT of review habits and diskarte. take time to read each and everyone's journey. try mo lahat, and hanapin mo yung pinaka nagwowork sayo. umpisahan mo sa familiarization ng test

may exam date ka na ba? yung 1 hr a day, siguro ok lang kung nagsisimula ka pa lang. pero kung malapit na exam date mo pero di ka pa confident sa english skills mo, kulang na kulang yun. i suggest, paglaanan mo talaga ng panahon. practice lang ng practice.

Di ko sineryoso yung 1st take ko, to the point na sa youtube lang ako nag aral for a good siguro 5hrs max total. (1hr here, youtube here otw to work, cram ng konti, aral on the night before the exam, then sick leave aral onti til I discovered this thread and printed out an APEUNI reviewer)

At that time di ako talaga aral, bitin time at akala ko stock knowledge at konting NOOD sa youtube sapat na. Take note NOOd di man lang aral hehehehehe.

Nabitin sa superior. Next test inisip ko na nakasalalay ang pag invite namin sa exam na to hehehehe.

I spent siguro total 15-20 hrs studying. I got my desired score na superior. Make sure to book and commit kesa aral aral na walang booked exam.

gawin motivation yung cost ng exam tsaka yung time lost sa pagbagsak hehehe.

The exam proctor will provide erasable notepad and pen before the test starts. But you can't write anything yet prior the test proper. Strict sila about this.

You can try to watch Varun of LA(Language Academy) for tips regarding RS sa Youtube (writing the first letters of each word in the sentence structure/memorise half then write the initials of the other half). Use their free trials to practice as many items as you can till you gain mastery of taking notes and verbalising at the same time.

I see, that helps if may paper to note, especially sa Repeat Sentence or Re-tell Lecture!

BTW, may natutunan akong tip sa Repeat Sentence from Nakul, and tinry ko siya sa APEUni and it worked. I aimed to repeat at least just 50% of the sentence and maintain good fluency and pronunciation. So minsan kahit ma-miss yung mga adverb makakakuha ka pa din ng 70+ na score sa APEUni.

Example ng test sentence ko kanina:
Actual Sentence: Meteorology involves a comprehensive analysis of the earth's atmospheric conditions.
My repeated sentence: Meteorology involves the analysis of the earth's conditions.
    My score: 83/90

Hello. Ito yung ginagamit ko na reference na nakita ko lang din dito sa thread:
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12KVRIftJdR_SZMVmGtL5JAIIKTWbYv9JtRwd5uHpejw/edit?usp=drive_link

IT din ako and may part-time job pa so around 12 to 13 hours per day ako nagwowork. Nag start ako by watching Sonny English videos para at least may kaunting knowledge about how the exam works and paano yung flow.

Next naman kinabisado ko yung templates for describe image, retell lecture, summarize written text, write essay, and summarize spoken text. Nung nakabisado ko na lahat, I tested them out sa APEUni without purchasing VIP yet. Goal ko lang is to see if tama yung templates na ginagamit ko. Mga 1 month din bago ko nakabisado lahat kasi nga wala akong time.

I purchased APEUni VIP around 3 weeks ago. Practice na lang ako ng practice since then. Ang goal ko naman ngayon is to build up the confidence to take the exam. I haven't scheduled it yet kasi ayokong mag cram ng aral pero syempre nag set din naman ako ng deadline for myself. Ang masasabi ko lang for us na wala masyadong time to review--do not rush the learning process. May days na makakapag-aral ka, may days din na hindi. That's okay. Hello po! San po mas okay mag-exam sa ACE Testing Hub? or sa MISNET? or parehong okay? Thanks!

I've read a lot of issues with MISNET when it comes to their headset, so far, ACE has a lot of positive reviews! so, ACE is better for me :)

Thank youu po! Tama lang yung naging booking ko. sa ACE ako nagbook. Hopefully, makuha na ang superior!

Hello, anybody here po used JimmySseem's template for Re-tell Lecture? Okay naman po ba siya?

    Template:
    1. The given talk is based on many different categories.
    2. Firstly, we can see that the audio can show a major point which is connected to our society, so it is fair to say that it is important.
    3. Finally, (insert keywords, particulate nouns).

Or mas okay padin po yung sa E2 language na:
    1. The speaker was discussing about [topic].
    2. He/she talked about [keyword 1].
    3. He/she also mentioned [keyword 2].
    4. He/she discussed in the way in which [keyword 3].
    5. He/she highlighted [keyword 4].
    6. Finally, he/she emphasized [keyword 5].

    Any thoughts po? Thank you!

Halos parehas lang yan in terms of structure: intro, supporting statement, example, and conclusion.

Yung kay jimmysem kasi in my opinion eh parang kabisote. That's why I used E2.

Why I said parang kabisote? Sobrang scripted tipong ano yung "based on different categories" na sinasabi nya. This intro may not always be appropriate with the lecture on test day. Pampadami lang ng words binibigay nya eh.

Focus on the technique and "how" to do it, not "what" to do or "what" to memorize / say during test day. Kanya kanyang learning style din. 🙂

By the way, I remembered merong item sa Re-tell Lecture na sobrang heavy ng accent ng speaker na tipong wala na ko ng naintindihan talaga tapos minsan may monotone pa. In this case, maigi ngang may kabisado kang ilang sentence para may masabi ka nalang haha. Mukhang dito magaapply yung template ni jimmysem. Goodluck!

Dahil may template ang PTE it was easy than before , basta apply yung technique na halos kahit anong lumabas kaya mo sya paspasan and importante sa speaking na hindi ka nagba buckle and kagandahan ng may script ka in mind pag di na maalala yung last few sa napakinggan to reach the 20 seconds plus recording for content score " the lecture/picture is a very informative picture/lecture ek ek " :D
