Hello, sharing my reflections on how I migrated to Australia with my family last year on a VISA 189 as a mechanical engineer.

Thank you for sharing your experience through your VLOG, keep posting more for everybody's reference!
Are you still doing sales until now? What are the other VISA Type you can suggest that doesn't need that much requirements sir? Any tips for anyone that's just starting to plan?

Other visa types na familiar sakin pwede mo explore is Visa 491 at Visa 482.

    Hi everyone,

We are making the big move to Australia early next year. Me and hubby got a positive assessment as civil engineer from EA. Currently working as RTO in singapore. Since ung experience namin is mostly sa site supervision, question ko po is mahirap ba makahanap ng work as site/project engineer sa Australia especially for a lady? May requirements po ba before makawork sa construction site dun?

    Thanks and Stay safe!

Medyo mahirap maka hanap ng work. Yes white card is mandatory mostly for construction jobs.

    Good luck to your journey.

I think medyo ok ang outlook for civil eng sa Australia due to government projects in the pipeline for economic recovery efforts post covid. This is based sa reports ng EA with their discussions with their government.

Last year I got a couple of interviews via phone.

    All the best

It is possible that you do not have the proper qualifications or requirement for the position you are applying for. Example: you are applying for a position with an engineering title but the company requires you to have an engineering degree (usually for local applicants) or chartered engineer (for migrants).

Additionally, you might be applying for a position that is still a bit advance for you since you have no local experience. You might need to downshift for now and just advance later on.

Also, if you have tons of experience previously, avoid very long CV. Just keep it short making sure your duties and responsibilities match the requirements of the company.

Hello good pm.
May mga nakikita akong job postings sa fb groups like pinoys in Sydney. Any tips to survive the job hunting phase are highly appreciated.

Pero ikaw, pwede mo naman patusin, better than nothing at all. Pero kung may makukuha kang mas mataas, mas maganda, given your experience rin. Mataas cost of living e, lalo sa Sydney.

Hello guys, just want to ask, is 60,000 AUD annual salary a reasonable salary in Sydney?

For me mababa lalo na if you're to rent a place.

Pero ikaw, pwede mo naman patusin, better than nothing at all. Pero kung may makukuha kang mas mataas, mas maganda, given your experience rin. Mataas cost of living e, lalo sa Sydney.

Kung sarili mo lang issuport mo siguro pwede na yan pang survive nga for a few months while looking for a better opportunity.

Pamasahe pa kc malayo layo at onsite.

Yong work is 3 times a week work from home, at yong pagpunta sa office depende daw sa need kung kailangan pumasok onsite. My 7 years of experience sana ako pero ayon entry level lang yong position na open, yong nakalagay din sa job posting one year experience lang ang required. Iniisip ko rin wala pa akong Australian experience, at yong flexibility, kung ano oras ka mag in, count kalang ng 8 hours para mag clock out, at may time pwede maghanap ng 2nd job or weekend job.

Hello po, thank you. I'm on visa 190.
