You need to explore a bit with the templates. It's not a one-size-fits-all thing. It depends on your learning style too. If one template didn't work for you the first try, then use another. What is this PTE for, skilled migration or student visa?

Hi Phoebe, your scores are low. Can you share what preparations have you done? What templates or reviewers did you use?

I used APE UNI app to review, I printed all the schedule or list of test formats. You need to try each and every part of the exam. There are alot of reviewers online to try. Do not just try to study without really feeling how it will go during the exams.

Use templates. Godbless on your review.

    Work on:
    -summarize written text
    -describe image, re-tell lecture
-and all other tasks that fall under Reading (reorder paragraphs, multiple choice single and mult answers).

Kinapos padin ako for superior. Pakiramdam ko di ako comfortable sa templates niya I don't know.

Ang i-aim mo, proper diction and intonation kahit wala kang accent (di kelangan yun actually). Yung iba nabubulol lalo kapag pinipilit mag accent.

Kapag nagkamali ka ng pag pronounce sa isang word, huwag mo na basahin ulit at itama, instead just carry on (learned this from E2). Wag ka din magmadali magsalita.

For describe image, use a template that you can easily comprehend.

Thank you po @mathilde9! I think ganun nga po yung ginawa ko from trident before and hnd masyado nagmamadali.

Hello, I just completed my PTE and received my results. I did not use any template from anyone, I just practiced religiously and took mock exams using APEUni. Here are the tips that I followed during my exam:
    -Focus and speak naturally
-Do not stop speaking, if out of words, just say some filler until you get back to your thoughts (DI, RL)
-Put extra words in WFD (plural, articles, any similar words if you misheard something)
-Read what you wrote again. You will catch mistakes and you can correct them.

APEUni was a saver. My mock exam scores were hanging by the superior score for Listening (I only got one mock exam that is Superior over all, most I got less than 79 in Listening). APEUni scoring is probably stricter than the actual PTE exam.

Hello. Im a new member of this group. Share ko lang po yung experience ko last time nung nag take ako ng exam and would like to get some tips and recommendations. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attain my desired score (superior).

I took the test at ACE Testing Hub in Makati last weekend. Madami kasabay, around 10 ata kami.

I am planning to retake the test anytime soon. Any recommendations po kung may mas okay na testing center here sa manila. And tips na din to improve my speaking score.

    Thank you so much!

Hello! Ito yung scores ko S-65 W-90 R-78 L-78. I also did a lot of mock tests sa APEUni and mostly got superior scores. :( but I will try to do mock tests na may background noise as suggested. Thank you so much for answering!

Thank you so much for answering!

hello everyone, the photos i posted show my current scores from mock tests using apeuni, along with my real exam score. unfortunately, i didn’t reach my desired score of 65 overall and in each band. i’m practicing every day now, but i just want some validation because there are times when i feel like giving up :(

after not getting my desired score, i enrolled in PTE Magic and took their essential course for 2 weeks. i’m currently using their templates for DI, RL, and SWT. for the writing essay section, i’m using the jimmyssem template since that’s the one i’ve really mastered. (so far naboost naman score ko sa speaking gamit tips and tricks nila during mock test compare sa dati)

during my first attempt, i used jimmyssem templates po for DI and RL but my trainers said it sounded like listing . they told me that the score relied on fluency and pronunciation to avoid sounding like a list. however, i don’t want to rely on jimmyssem anymore since my speaking score was only 56.

i’d like to ask if it’s possible to score 70+ in the real exam, like i’ve been getting in my mock tests with apeuni? my last real exam was in july, and since then, i’ve been practicing a lot, especially on the speaking and listening sections because those were my lowest scores. my reading and writing were barely passing as well.

i’m looking for any comments or suggestions and also some motivation po since the pte exam is expensive.![]!

giving up is for the weak! 😈 char

based sa post mo, mukhang ok naman english mo. saan ka pinaka nahihirapan? try mo din E2 PTE sa youtube. they will teach you "how" to answer instead of "what" to answer.

Base on experienced, mas smooth yung keyboard nila.
