Hello po, planning to take an skills assessment din po ako this year for architectural Draftsperson. Ask ko lang if tinawagan po ba referee nyo or kayo mismo tinawagan ni VETASSESS for interview or thru email lang po? Thank you po

Hi @reandf0709 sa experience ko nung nagpaassess ako last year e di tinawagan yung 2 na pumirma ng SOS ko sa pinas at dito sa SG. Not sure sa iba baka may random na tinatawagan ni VETASSESS.

Bakapag nag open baka ma-invite kayo agad. Same tayo occupation & partner skill. Pagka update ko ng Superior english, na invite ako sumunod na round at 90 points.

Pero sana mag invite narin ng offshore yung mga states this FY. Last year kasi NSW & SA lang yung may invites ng offshore sa occupation natin.

    Nominated Skill: 312111
    Target Visa: Subclass 190-OFFSHORE
    Target State: VIC/WA/NSW(got NSW invite)
    ---- ----
2016-2019 Always watching vids for Student pathway in Canada, Germany, New Zealand and Australia but lost interest.
2022 Started working in SG, lost hope in SG PR. Got interested in Canada/Australia again. Working in SG was a huge factor for us pushing through because we are now confident that we can afford the cost of migration process.
    ---2023---
2023 April: Started researching About Australia. At first, I saw student pathway but then stumbled to some youtube videos explaining permanent residence can be applied offshore(DIY)
2023 Oct 30: Started Collecting Documents. This took us so long because we are hesitating and overthinking about reaching out to our previous employers. We thought we should just do a statutory declaration but fortunately we talked to our friends who are also planning their migration and helped us understand that its easy to request for it.
    ---2024---
    2024 Jan 16: Husband's Vetassess Lodging
    2024 Feb 2: Husband's Vetassess Priority processing
    2024 Feb 6: Husband's Vetassess Positive Result
2024 Mar: Scheduled for PTE Exam, Got denied because of the middle name issue
2024 July 2: PTE exam (Husband-Competent, Mine-Proficient). Huge month gap because we got busy with office works and some other personal stuff.
    2024 July 3: Husband Submitted EOI for Visa 190 VIC/NSW/WA (65)
    (Age:30; Qualifications:15; XP Offshore:10; English:0; Partner:5; State:5)
2024 July: I delayed getting my Vetasses in the hopes of saving the fee if my husband got the invite with low EOI score. Contunued collecting SoS from my past companies cause we realized that 10 points for skilled partner would be a huge difference because of state preference. Initially, I was looking to just submit with only 1 work experience cause my other companies are a bit hassle to deal with but thank God I went throught all the stress and collected them all cause now, I could also submit EOI as the main applicant.
2024 Sep 3: Submitted My Vetassess
2024 Sep 4: Vetassess Priority approval- then paid the same day.
2024 Sep 8: Vetassess Positive Result-5.9 years (considered as high work experience)
2024 Sep 8: Husband Update EOI for Visa 190 VIC/NSW/WA (75) (8yr mark for exp)
    (Age:30; Qualifications:20; XP Offshore:10; English:0; Partner:10; State:5)
    2024 Sep 8: Submitted My EOI for Visa 190 VIC/NSW/WA (80)
    (Age:30; Qualifications:15; XP Offshore:10; English:10; Partner:10; State:5)
2024 Nov 3: PTE Exam- Me Superior, Husband competent
    2024 Nov 3: Updated EOI for Visa 190 VIC/NSW/WA (90)
    (Age:30; Qualifications:15; XP Offshore:10; English:20; Partner:10; State:5)
    2024 Dec 3: Pre-Invite from [email protected]
2024 Dec 3: Replied to NSW Pre-invite the same day.
2024 Dec 6: NSW Invitation to apply
2024 Dec 8: Applied for Singapore COC
2024 Dec 15: Scheduled for NBI Fingerprint
2024 Dec 17: Received email from SPF, scheduled for Dec19'24
2024 Dec 19: SPF COC Fingerprinting, 45 mins from Queueing to receiving COC
2024 Dec 20: Submitted documents, Paid aud 7155+100(debit processing fee). Tried paying the night of dec 19 but the payment keep declining when using all our debit mastercard. Then we tried one of our visa card, it worked but its already past 12am so our lodge date became Dec 20. haha
2024 Dec 20: Withdrawn other EOIs. No more budget if ever we get an invite from our 1st choice of State.
2024 Dec 23: Received Skillselect email, eoi suspended, Lodged status.

It’s always safe to assume they will call. After all, they reserve the right to do so. Not because others have not experienced this doesn’t mean yours will be the same

Hello, I have a few questions...

I'm based in the Philippines, working as a consultant BIM Architect (fully remote) for a large archi firm based in the Middle East. Consultant setup so I basically function like a normal WFH employee, pero contractually, hindi ako under the employ ng company.

Nasa 4 years total ang work experience ko sa ngayon (but not yet assessed by Vetassess) and best-case is nasa 75 points (assuming Superior English, positive assessment of 3 yrs overseas work exp) for Architectural Draftsperson - Subclass 190. It will realistically take another 2 or 3 years of age & work experience bago tumaas ulit yung points ko and improve my chances.

    So, my questions:
    1) Is 75 points good enough as it is now? So far as per my own research online, nasa 85-90 daw yung most common na naga-grant lately. So I understand kung medyo low ang chances, pero still asking to hopefully be told otherwise hahaha.

    2) Would any of you know of any medium-large architecture/construction companies in Australia wherein nagha-hire din sila under a consultancy setup similar to my current job? I know for smaller offices/studios it is more common, as I've personally worked in a similar setup for a small Sydney-based studio previously. But now I'm leaning more into working for larger-size companies if given the privilege of choice hehe (personal career preferences).

Additionally, honestly ok naman yung work and company ko ngayon in terms of salary, workload, etc., but I'm exploring the thought of applying for companies more aligned to my longterm goal: Australia. I basically just want to make better use of my time and current skills in a way na nag-aalign with my long-term goals. So any leads would help! :)

    3) Kung swertehin man akong makahanap ng work for an Australian company in that setup, would it count as "Australian Work Experience" points-wise? Answer to that is probably a no, but still I hope I'm wrong.

    TYIA!
