iba yan Sir... yung 1/8% charge is payable to dbs IF you do the transfer via a branch. zero ito kapag via internet.

habang ang agent bank's fee naman is payable to commonwealth bank sa example na binigay ko.

so halimbawa you wire 10k sgd via a branch to NAB, fee will be as below:

    30 SGD - wire/cable charge
12.5 SGD - fee for over the countrr processing
100 SGD - agent bank fee

hope this makes it a bit clearer.

i see. wala ding monthly charge itong "iSaver" sa NAB?

thanks for the info po pala. :)

Ngwork ako sa SG for 2 years and kakamigrate lng nmen ng hubby ko dto sa OZ last Aug 2012.

@rylynn - oh yeah, we used DBS to transfer money into our CBA and NAB account; if mejo malaki laki yung i-remit mo pwede daw sila magbigay ng better rate so try asking for it.

and yes, DBS charges a fee depending on the amount remitted as well...

1/8 of 1% sa total amount ata... cannot remember; you can check sa dbs website and look for fees.

nope, you don't have access to your online banking yet. they can be able to confirm though how much pera ko if you ask. and ang pinaka importante, this starts to earn interests.

Ang ginawa po namin as advised by a friend we open citibank account in sg then we also open here in au. No charges for transfer and it's real time transfer. Best option for us.
    GOD bless!
My question is, okay ba yung exchange rate?

Has anyone else done this? Pwede makahingi ng feedback and opinion? Thank you!

I thought about this before but I saw that CBA had the highest interest - besides yung sa Citibank, di masyado clearcut yung account opening procedures nila for new migrants unlike sa CBA and NAB.

But definitely, totoo na this should come out as very convenient.

Hi @TasBurrfoot thank you sa prompt reply.

Sa way na ito, convenient, minimal charges and less deductions, tama ba? :)
