    Guys.. makikihalo na ako dito.. started the second phase of my journey this week...na delay sya ng mga one month due to my work here in US.. i submitted aroung 18 applications sa seek.com and plan to continue this weekend. i'm planning to be in Australia end of July.. laking tulong ng mga nakikita kong tips and tricks dito sa forum.. im praying to land a job bago pa man ako pumunta sa Aus..     Ask ko lang po, ano yung references na binigay mo? ok na ba ang previous employer mo? or you have to give a couple of names for references?

    I just gave them a couple of names of my friends who happened to be my previous bosses as well... So ayun!!

    Ang background check as per my experience is being done by a separate agency; what I did lang was to provide my details including previous companies and addresses.

    They do police and bankruptcy check as part of the process.

    @psychoboy thanks! That's so nice to know. Medyo may trauma na din kasi ako sa medicals kasi almost 3 months na-refer ang medical ko sa MOC bago na-finalised. I am presently working in a bank dito sa Manila, kaya medyo curious po ako sa nakuha nyong job sa banking/ finance sector. Could you share po kung anong particulars nung job nyo? IT po kayo sa SG dati? Tama po ba?

    Ask ko lang po kung madali po bang makahanap ng parttime work sa OZ (Sydney), na office based (IT/call center/etc..) or full-time at local ang priority nila? Student visa po kc pina process ko.

    I am so happy today that I received 3 calls from recruiters while I am still in Europe.
    Tomorrow I have a skype interview.

    I am not setting expectations from them but at least it is a positive sign that they consider my CV even offshore. I hope this situation will be better when I will be in Sydney in August. Still, fingers-crossed
