Kasi iyun lagi tinatanong sa amin..."do you have the visa grant letter with you?" Tapos iyung sulat from DIAC ang binibigay namin.

It is nice to meet kapwa kababyan starting life here rin in Sydney.:)

hi... question lang, meron ba sa inyo nakapag-take na ng PAL flight to Aus? How was it naman? hindi naman kayo nagutom? how lenient are they sa excess baggage? thanks!

I will be travelling with my kiddo kaya gusto ko rin sana ay may konting convenience.
Ang mahal naman kasi ng Qantas. pero ang laki baggage allowance nila. hindi ko ma-estimate kung masyado bang maliit ang 23kgs (per pax) for us or not ng PAL.

Hi, try niyo din po Malaysia Air. No direct flights but cheaper siya compared sa PAL and Qantas. Meals included plus malaki din baggage allowance, 30kg.

@snowhit3 been flying with pal since coming to au. This was going from au to pinas... Mdyo Natagalan yung check in kasi daming pina repack na mga tao.

Hand carry is 7 kg per item..di pwding combined.
Check in 23 kg...pero ok lang na .5 or 1.5 kg more but any more than that repack na naman.

Excess baggage is 36aud per kg. but d naman kami pinabayad ng umabot kami ng 24 kg but pina repack din kami like everyone else sa hand carry.. 7 kg lng daw talaga. Yung iba nag tapon ng chocolates. Sayang. This was this dec 2012.

Same story coming back..pal via manila to sydney. But this time d na kami ng excess para no hassle specially daming corrupt pa naman sa naia.

Just bring the necessities.. Pag may work na..shopping agad or send through alisbayan box services. Sa bm express i spend 98 aud per box..unlimited weight. So its not too bad but 2 months lang umaabot.

    Hi guyz!
booked flight to Melbourne on September for a family of 3
Manila-Singapore (cebu pacific promo-10T for 3 persons including 30kgs baggage allowance)
....................... praning kami ngayon dahil sa CebuPac incident in Davao. [-O<
    ....................... 5 hours lay-over time
Singapore-Melbourne ( Qantas dahil may promo sila w/ 30kgs baggage allowance)

wala bang problema sa ganitong set-up?
found it cheaper kasi compared to other airlines.

@peach17 21k one way isn't that just 525 aud??? That is quite cheap. Even the 27k is 675 aud is cheap. Other airlines nasa 1000k aud plus one way.

I dont think may mas mura pa from that...

@peach17..Yes, mura na to.. Or else try to look jetstar. Which is Manila-Darwin na kung mnsan merun cla $99 one way ticket. Un nga lg ung Darwin to Melbourne or Sydney ay aabot din ng $300, which mas mura xa.. Paminsan mnsan lg tlga yan ehh..

Also think of the stand by time... Is it 24 hrs or 5 hrs waiting at the airport for connecting flights? If u have kids.. Long terminal wait will be a disaster pero if single..why not? :)

Bad experience with jetstar! I sent a complaint letter but never got a refund! I book online tickets for 100 aud .. Auckland to sydney. It was a sale i have an email to prove that was the price but they charged my credit card 400aud!!! 3 hrs flight lng yan... Never got a refund from them ..

Go to jetstars facebook page.. Daming complaints. Pero u pay for the service u get.. Peanuts for monkeys.
