    If I am not mistaken, Qantas flies direct to Sydney; if Melbourne ka, there is a change of plane and it is still with Qantas.

    What we know so far is meron din sa pal, 25k, but 20 or 30kg lng ang allowance.

    Naisip din nya mag SQ, claim ng miles. pero +10kg lng ang allowance, so 30 total if economy ka.

    Sa MH ganun din, 30kg lng ibibigay nila.

    The cheapest option was 5J to KL or SG, then AirasiaX or Scoot to SYD. Mga 22/23k lalabas. 40kg din. Pero at that price, mag CX ka na lang. Full service pa.

    Ang narinig ko lng na tip of mag MNL-DRW ka is dapat mauna kang bumaba sa plane. Kc mahaba ang pila sa immigration. Minsan 2 lng ang immig officer. If huli ka bumaba, matatagalan ka mag antay and baka ma miss mo connecting flight to SYD.

    Suggest you pay a bit extra and buy a seat in front of the plane.

    However, I have no first hand experience. Kwento lang sa akin to.

    Direct flight po ang Qantas to Sydney and Sat ung flight 20:20 terminal 1 ang binigay sa akin..not sure if pwede ka mamili. just provide them your desired date of departure then IOM will send you a quotation. Take note, you have to make the payment before 2pm on that date in any ChinaBank branch, scan the receipt then send to IOM. kasi if lumagpas dun, bibigyan ka ulit ng quotation. if bumaba ang piso against dollar, chances eh tataas ung air fare mo.

Ang maganda sa Jetstar ksi Darwin ang arrival nla, at sa darwin hndi masyadong strict ang immigration and customs nla..wlang masyadong tanong at hndi din mahaba ang pila sa immigration nla ksi kaunti lg ung international flyt at no need na din mag transfer airport if my connecting flyt ka..ksi isa lg ung airport nla, maliit lg at hndi ka maliligaw..

    06-01-11: Arrived Australia (457 visa dependent on my dad)
    28-05-12: Lodged RSMS 857 visa (seperate from my dad already)
    28-06-12: Done Medical check
    30-10-12: Submit AFP check
    07-11-12: Went home on a bridging visa B for holiday and wedding..:)

    18-01-13: CO asked documents of my husband to be included on my application as migrating dependent..Thank u LORD!

    Mukhang ipapacancel ko muna itong booking ko sa Jetstar. may nakita kasi ako sa Air Asia kaso 2 booking ang kailangan from Clark-KUL-Sydney. mas mura siya at hnidi na kailangan pang pumunta ng Manila para ihatid ako. halos 6k din kasi ang approximately na magagastos ko sa petrol at tollgate at kailangan pang gumastos ng driver kasi may work ang Tatay ko that day, walang magdidrive pauwi ng sasakyan.

    ang inaalala ko lang, 8 hours ang gap ng flight ng CRK-KUL at KUL-Sydney. so mahaba habang hintayan pero ok lang naman sa akin. first time kong magbiyahe na palipat lipat.

    Any comment dito? ayos ba kung 2 booking ang gagawin ko? Salamat!

    8 hours should be enough leeway in case may mga delays sa flight mo originating from Clarke... I tried Air Asia X before and it is alright, it is like Cebu Pacific na wide body plane. It is a long flight but okey na rin for the price.

    There is a Starbucks, McDonald's and Old Town outlet there so pwede ka diyan magpalipas oras; As per experience, we always just spend out time sa McDonald's. Connected naman sa WiFi so ayus na! :)

    Got my ticket from MH at USD 500 with 30kgs baggage allowance. Then payed USD 300 for additional 48kgs of excess luggage.. :)

    @nutellagirl, wow! nagbayad ka for addtional baggage... sis san mo yan nibook? Online or sa Office nila?

    @peach17.. 4 months na lg pla at flyt m na to OZ.. So dapt nagbook kna ng ticket m, ksi the earliest u book the cheaper price u can get.. Pag malapt na, sobrang mahal na yan..

    06-01-11: Arrived Australia (457 visa dependent on my dad)
    28-05-12: Lodged RSMS 857 visa (seperate from my dad already)
    28-06-12: Done Medical check
    30-10-12: Submit AFP check
    07-11-12: Went home on a bridging visa B for holiday and wedding..:)
    12-01-13: CO allocated and nomination approved
    18-01-13: CO asked documents of my husband to be included on my application as migrating dependent..Thank u LORD!
    15-02-13: Husband completed all requirements (police check, medical, english requirements and joint statement)
    15-02-13: CO issued pre-grant letter instructing hubby to apply tourist visa to enter Australia in order our 857 visa to be granted.
    27-02-13: Hubby applied Subclass 676 tourist visa.
    06-03-13: Hubby's tourist visa approved.
    16-03-13: Hubby arrived Australia.
    18-03-13: Our RSMS 857 visa granted.. (nothing to ask more)
