Hello! I'm new here in this forum...I have read several articles but still overwhelmed & confused. Thank you sa step by step procedure that you provided @lock_code2004. I have several questions if you don't mind though. I recently talked to a migration agent, hindi pa nman po kmi nagbayad but based on his assessment our occupations lists, we can meet the 60 pts daw po if we pass the required IELTS. (1) Can we directly apply for Visa 189?

He also said that we are qualified for State sponsorship. But mine is open now in ACT and my husband sa SA. We are in Sales / Retail / Customer Service Manager area. Unlike po ung mga professional occupation like doctors, dentist etc na pwede anywhere in Australia. (2) Can you provide the link of the assessing authority in our field. So we need to seek approval with them first before we can lodge for EOI? (3) How can we verify na pwede rin ung Occupations namin in other state aside from the one he mentioned?

    Thanks
    1. depending on your occupation.
    - if your occupation is in SOL then you apply for 189.
    - if your occupation is in CSOL Sched 2 you can only apply for 190.

here is the link of: http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/sol/
open the files SOL/CSOL and check your occupation

    2. Your assessing agency can be checked also on the SOL/CSOL..

    3. To check other states, you need to do it one by one (each state has its own State Nomination List - SNOL).. google nyo lang po ang mga website ng mga STate migration.. or check the start of this thread.. nandun ang websites..

    Hello..

    Sorry... magulo ba?

kasi diba dun sa State sponsorship.. sabi dapat may at least 5 links or job openings na dapat maipakita ka na suitable sa job description mo? So normally magbabrowse ako nyan sa mga job portal like seek. So kailangan ba customer service manager ang title ng mga job na ipapepresent ko?

    eto kasi sabi eh...

Evidence that there are, currently, sufficient ACT employment opportunities in the nominated occupation that are relevant to your skill set and experience e.g.:
     for Canberra residents:
− employment contract and 2 recent payslips.
    for overseas residents:
− personal research into recent advertised positions relevant to the nominated occupation (a minimum of 5vacancies):

 You must provide a copy of the full advertisement. Web links and /or screen shots are not acceptable and, if provided, could result in refusal of the verification.

@plokie - yes, that is a requirement for some SS..
try to find an exact match sa job title ng nominated occupation mo..
otherwise, pwede din nmn kung nakalagay na pareho ang job description pero ibang title..
kung 3 job postitngs ang requirement nila, give them 5 or 6.. para marami ;)

    Hello Po,

Kumusta po kayong lahat? Balak po naming lumipat sa Australia. May mga katanungan po ako.

Network Administrator po ako dito sa SG with only 2.5 related working experience,

    1. ilang years po ang kelangan para maassess sa ACS?

    2. if ever po, magrant ang subclass 489 visa, am I entitled to work only in southern australia or pede pong lumipat sa ibang lugar? at hanggang 4 years lang ba talaga ang validity ng visa

    3. should i take another ielts exam po? if umabot ng 7 pede mag apply ng 190.

Appreciate your feedbacks and suggestions po.

@ep_ricablancajr - i suggest you read the thread "how to start my application"...

    to answer your questions:
    1. depende po yan kung IT related ang course nyo or not.. please check with ACS thread or directly to ACS website

    2. visa 489 is 4 years validity and valid only for regional areas of the state that nominated you..

    3. you need 55pts + SS visa 190 5pts = 60 pts.. ilan na ang points mo now? pwede naman kasing 55pts kana kahit wla kang points sa ielts..

    Hi guys,

I would just like to ask regarding Subclass 190 State Sponsored PR Visa... I was given a state sponsored visa sponsored by Victoria State Government and we (me , wife and two kids) are obliged to stay and live in Victoria state for 2 yrs. I would just like to ask if when is the reckoning of the obligation to stay in the state for 2 yrs? And during the two yrs period, can we go back to the Philippines and go back to Australia again like vacation (we all know that PR visa allows us to go in and out in australia for 5 yrs with indefinite stay in australia)? And for how long could we stay outside victoria during the 2 yrs period? Please share your experiences... Do you have any personal experience/s for that matter? especially for the state sponsored migrants wish to hear from you guys. Thanks

Pag may student visa ka pwede ka rin ba ma sponsor ng employer mo? Is there such thing?

"IF YOU ASK ANYTHING IN MY NAME, I WILL DO IT".

    John 14:14

Loving Lord! The Scripture says that You are aware of all our needs, even before we ask You. So I come to You and place this request at Your loving hands. You know how desperate I am for getting the Visa. My soul has become weary and anxious over this delay in getting the visa .O Lord! Speak in the hearts of the concerned officials, grant me favour in their eyes and help me to get my visa on time so that my purpose is fulfilled. Perfect everything for me my Master. I wait at Your feet and trust in You to make this possible. I know that You will do it for You will never let Your children down. I thank You for listening to my plea! To You alone be all honour and glory. In the sweet name of Jesus I pray.Amen.

@Siopao23 - you mean while studying, biglang nakahanap ka ng employer na willing mag sponsor ng working visa?

i think pwede naman... but i dont know about the restrictions of the visa, kung kailangan ba na off-shore ka pag na approve ang working visa.. meaning dapat umuwi ka muna...

@lock_code2004 i see may restrictions din pala pero ok lang umuwi as long as i-sponsor ako. Thanks sa info hirap kasi PT ako pero never practiced my profession. Either nasa field sales ako o customer service

this is based on your signed agreement with the state:
    1. work in live for two years in the state - this should be cumulative
    2. you can stay outside of your nominating state, basta ang importante maka 2 yrs ka sa knila,

now based on what i've read here,
may mga state sponsored na hindi talga nag stay sa state nila, for some reasons (ex. walang mahanap na work...etc).. based sa mga experience nila, you can request the state to release you from that agreement and move to another state, provided you have valid reason/s..

now regarding your husband's work, i'd say go for it..pwede nmn po yun..
sa SA ka, tapos sa Melbourne sya.. pag wala ka talga mahanap na work sa SA, you can try yung suggestions ng iba..

please search for the thread about that "SS nominated not staying in their State"..

    @kremits

    Hi kremits and everyone,
I emailed the SA government to get a straight answer if I can stay in a different state for my 1st 6 mos, but relocate in Adelaide to fulfill my obligation as a SS after 6 mos. Told them yung company ko dito ay may office Sydney and they are willing to absorb me for 6 mos to help me gain local experience para madaling nang makahanap ng work sa Adelaide. Not sure if this applies to all states, but here's their response:

    Dear Jamee

As a South Australian state nominated visa holder, you are expected to live in South Australia for two years from date of arrival and cannot initially live and work in Sydney for the first 6 months after arrival in Australia.

You signed a declaration in the course of your nomination application committing to migrating to and living in South Australia for at least two years. State Government Nomination is provided to meet skills needs in our State and the expectation is that successful applicants will bring their skills to South Australia. It is on this basis that Nomination approval is granted thereby facilitating visa grant by the Commonwealth Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC). Without this nomination you would not have been granted a visa.

In terms of finding suitable work, the first step is for you to utilise the services on offer in South Australia to assist you in finding employment. Details are listed below.

I recommend that you contact Skilled Migrant Services (Skills for All Infocentre) on 1800 506 266. Based on the letter above, dapat daw ma-fulfill yung 2 year obligation FROM THE DATE OF ARRIVAL in Australia, which means... di yata pwede umalis or tumira sa ibang state. Not sure though if this will apply to all states. I suggest, you email the VIC local government. Baka sumagot. Di kasi ako risk-taker eh. Just want to be safe. he he he! :) I've seen though that some forumers didn't follow. So baka naman pwede sa ibang state. Hope this helps!
