Tanong lang po...

Nagsubmit na kasi ako ng application for skills assessment sa ACS last month. But, just now, I got an email from them ([email protected]) advising me that the assessor returned my application kasi kelangan daw ng additional docs. Kaso, yung additional docs na hinihingi nila e nabigay ko na nung sinend ko yung documents ko last month. Hinihingi kasi nila yung detailed employer references. Pero meron na kong ginawa at naka-stat dec pa. Does that mean na hindi nila tinatanggap yung detailed employer references na sinubmit ko? Or is it possible na di lang nila napansin na nasubmit ko na dati?

Ano po ba dapat kong gawin?

Ang ginawa ko lang ngayon ay nagreply ako dun sa email ([email protected]) at inexplain ko na nabigay ko na dati. Dun po ba dapat magsend ng email?

Haaay...nakakalungkot naman.

@hotshot, yung binigay mo ba nung DEC kasabay nung application mo or additional doc na lang yan?

Nung nagkaprob ako sa kanila non, nag-email lang din ako. Okay lang yon. Mabait naman din sila.

Make sure lang na yung binigay mong detailed employer references ay.. teka, ano ba yon? Nde yan COE dba? Hmm.. na-confuse din tuloy ako.

Ang problem siguro, hindi enough proof of employment? COE + detailed employer reference dapat. And then alam ko meron pa sila guidelines sa statdec eh, like yun org chart, tapos contact details or ID nun person occupying a higher position than you na pumirma sa statdec mo. Hindi kasi pwede statdec na walang 3rd party corroborative evidence.

Ganito kasi ang pinasa ko (both for my previous and current company)....isang standard COE and isang reference letter (with detailed information) from my manager. Pero, yung reference letter ay wala sa company letterhead dahil sa confidentiality policy ng company. So, gumawa ako ng Stat Dec for each to explain the reasons. So for each of my employer, meron akong standard COE, reference letter signed by my manager, and a Stat Dec.

Inexplain ko yan sa reply ko sa email nila kanina. Then after a few hours, nagreply naman sila. At ang sinasabi nila sa akin ay hindi daw pwede yung Stat Dec ko na ako ang gumawa. Kung di daw ako makakapag-bigay ng detailed employment reference from my employer, kelangan daw e Stat Dec na yung manager ko ang gumawa (hindi self-stat dec). Yan ang problema ko ngayon. May iba pa kayang way para ma-explain ko sa kanila na tanggapin na lang yung signed reference letters?

Baka meron pong iba na similar ang case sa akin...help naman po.

Something else may be missing. Kasi ako, hindi ako gumawa statdec.. 3 companies ko, at ako lang gumawa ng detailed employer reference. Around 3-4 pages for each company. Ginawa ko pinapirmahan ko lang sa immediate supervisors ko, and I included their email ad, mobile number and a photocopy of their company id. Yun lang approve na kay ACS. Ikaw statdec pa ginawa mo, so most probably.. sa content ang hinahanap nila hindi sa format.

@Bryann : nasa company letterhead po ba yung ginawa nyo?

Sobrang detailed din ginawa kong draft ng reference letter na pinapirmahan ko sa managers ko. Mga 3 pages per employer din. Pero, yun nga lang, wala kasi sa company letterhead due to "confidentiality policies" nila.

@hotshot kung walang letterhead pwede yung business card ng manager mo. tapos papirmahan mo. ganun ginawa ko kasi hindi din pwede samin gamitin yung company letterhead.

paano po kung walang business card? nag-try na ako humingi dati pero kasi sabi nya naubusan na sya ng business card. kelangan pa nya mag-order para lang mabigyan ako. kaya sabi ko wag na lang kasi nakakahiya naman.

pwede kaya na i-explain ko na lang na yung reference letters ko ay from a "managerial position" na tao at hindi basta "colleague" lang?

Hindi ka naman kasi pwedeng gumawa ng statutory declaration na walang sufficient evidence of your claim. Kailangan mong i-attach ang employment contract mo and/or merit increase and or any proof of employment.

Nang nagpa-assess kasi ako sa ACS ay may mga stat dec din akong ginawa na tinanggap naman nila.

Buti nga tinatanggap na nila ang stat dec na gawa ng manager (without attachments of proof of employment in your part). Sundin mo na lang kung ano ang gusto ng ACS, sayang naman kasi yung skills assessment kapag nag-back out ka pa.

Buti nga nagbibigay na ngayon ng chance ang ACS, dati hindi, maraming nade-decline noon. Kung mahigpit ang ACS, mas mahigpit ang ang DIAC sa COE/Reference letters. Kasi pati pay slips hinahanap ng DIAC.

Nope. Wala sa company letterhead. Near impossible makakuha nun sa mga napasukan ko. Hehe.

Anyway, sundin mo lang yun guidelines ni ACS, nakalagay naman dun kung ano kailangan nila proof kapag nagsubmit ka ng statdec, nasa website nila yun somewhere nabasa ko din dati. Sa detailed employment reference nilagay ko per project, ilan kami sa team, scope nun work, anu roles ko and tasks sa project, and technologies/tools used. Very detailed, pero walang paligoy-ligoy. Bulleted lang. Tapos lahat yun pina-notaryo ko sa lawyer. Ginawa mo din po ba yun? Lahat ng sinubmit ko kay ACS notarized except for my CV.

@Tootzkie : syempre nag-attach naman po ako ng proof of employment. nakakuha naman po ako ng official COE from my previous company with the dates of employment, salary and position. may mga kilala ako na same lang rin ang ginawa pero naging ok naman sa kanila. mukang minamalas ata ako. ayoko naman po umatras pero wala na akong ibang mapapasa kundi kung ano yung naipasa ko na dati. nagiisip nga din ako paano ko ieexplain sa email kasi baka makuha naman sa explanation. ang hirap lang kasi e wala ako sa pinas so kelangan ko pa umuwi para ayusin to kaso hindi naman pwede. 30 days lang binigay sa akin to submit the additional docs.

@Bryann: yes, ganyan po ginawa ko. sobrang detailed ang reference letters. pero ang ginawa ko kasi...gumawa ako ng Stat Dec...tapos ang attachments ng Stat Dec ko ay yung official standard COE from the company and the reference letter signed by the manager.

Mukhang complete naman yun supporting documents mo based from your statements. Makakasagot siguro niyan exactly ay yun sa ACS. Baka hindi pa sila convinced sa dami ng sinubmit mo. Weird naman.

ang difference lang pala natin e hindi pina-notarize yung reference letter ko. basta signed reference letter lang sya tapos inattach ko sa Stat Dec ko together with the official standard COE ng company. Paano po ba yung magpa-notarize? Gagawa ng certificate yung notary public na authentic yung document? Or parang CTC lang din?

Dun ka nagkamali. Kung ang isinubmit mong COE/Ref letter ay photocopy, dapat certified true copy sya or notarized. Stat Dec (original copy) should be also notarized by attorney. Mismong original copy (stat dec) ang ipapasa mo sa ACS. Dito sa Pinas, every document na pinapanotarize ko ay 2 copies (1 for ACS and 1 for DIAC )

Hindi na gumagawa ang attorney ng certificate of authenticity. Mismong yung photocopy ang nilalagyan ng "certified true copy" with seal or stamp ng attorney.

Tama si tootzkie. Ang photocopy ay hindi valid unless notarized. Stat dec din is notarized dapat. Meron dry seal and stamp na usually ay "Certified True Copy of Original". -> every page.

naka-CTC po lahat ng binigay kong docs...as in may stamp na "Certified True Copy" at stamp nung Notary public.

Yay. Ano kaya problema nun officer sa ACS dyan.. mas okay pa nga yun sayo StatDec pa. Hehehe. Nag-try ka po email sa kanila? Yun na lang po masa-suggest ko. Wala na ako maisip. Hassle talaga yan ganyan delays. Balitaan mo kami dito ha, sana maging okay na yan sa ACS mo. For the meantime, baka gusto niyo po mag-IELTS muna.

Hello po.. I have the same question. These are the requirements I have for one of the companies i worked for:
1. COE (w/o salary and duties) - From Company HR
2. Payslips provided by the company HR
3. duties and skills assessment (provided by my previous manager) - printed and signed on a plain paper. - manager still works for the company but is not allowed to provide org charts or to have it printed on "company paper"

so given this, pano po ako magproceed to obtain a statutory declartion.
These are the questions I have:

1. what does "self-references" from applicants mean? ung sinasabi sa guidelines ng ACS
2. Sino po ang magpapastat dec, ako po ba or ung manager ko?
3. on the Skills Assessment Applicant Checklist - eto po ang nakalagay "A witnessed Statutory declaration by self + Statutory declaration by Supervisor / Manager for each role". Does this mean papastat dec manager ko AT ako (separately) or kelangan lang ba present ung manager ko to sign in front of the commissioner/lawyer?
4. what are the documents i have to include sa stat dec ko? Kasama ba COE ko at payslip or the skills and duties lang provided by my manager?
5. from the guidelines again, ano po ibig sabihin nito: "Applicants may submit a personal statement on a properly signed and witnessed Statutory Declaration."
6. Meron den kase na nakasulat sa guidelines na ganito "Essential information required for a Statutory Declaration:
 The reason for submitting a Statutory Declaration
 All the necessary detail regarding your education and employment" -- which, from how i understand it, ako ang pagpapastat dec. tama po ba pagkakaintindi ko?

I got a reply from ACS about my case. It seems that they're stricter now. As they explained, I must provide a statutory declaration done by my manager/s since the Detailed Employment References I provided were not in a company letterhead. They would not consider my employment references kahit na meron Stat Dec done by me.

Sa pinas po ba e meron Statutory Declaration format? Or pareho lang ba ito ng Affidavit of Undertaking?

@hotshot - naku ang higpit na pala nila... did they say how many days you have to fulfill the requirements? i think somewhere sa first page ng thread na ito, mei nagbanggit that statutory declaration daw e affidavit sa aten sa pinas.. Guys need your inputs.. Diko alam kung OT to.. anyway.. I'm planning to resign dito sa current job ko. Well kasi i'm not feeling any growth..which is sa tingin ko di pwede, kasi medyo bata pa ako..and i need to go back to where my core competency is w/c is network/sys admin. Anyway my total exp. is 4 years and 5 months pag nag resign ako this march. I am a Microsoft Cert. Pro. and planning to recertify as MCITP para updated. My question is am I still legible to continue with my ACS skills assesment application considering my situation? Hope to hear from you guys soon..

YOur skills assessment result will depend on your degree and school. If you will rely on your vendor certification only ex. MCITP, you need 6 yrs experience. Read PASA guidelines.

hi guys, hope you can help me as well.. here's my question, in submitting the requirements for 1 of my previous employer, currently I have the following: generic COE, contract, ITR, and I can create a reference letter similar to the format that was mention above by KTP sign by an ex-colleague which is an Assistant Manager.. will this suffice po? thanks in advance.

Nabasa ko din yan. But I think what they are saying is that those vendor certifications may be enough to meet the qualifications criteria, which I think means the education requirement. This applies if your major is not ICT related. And then, if group B ka, if I remember correctly, kailangan 5 years ang work experience mo.

Question, ano po job description niyo ngayon and ano ang plan mo na skill to nominate? Kasi dun din baka magkaproblem ka if hindi closely related yun 4 years 5 months mo na work experience.

Lahat po ng binanggit niyo pwede isubmit. Although ako naman hindi na ako nagsubmit ng contract and ITR since existing pa naman yun mga previous companies ko. Pero okay lang din po if gusto nyo magsubmit. Yun sa employment reference tama po pwede ganyan ang gawin niyo. Madali lang naman gumawa nun isulat mo lang po yun mga ginagawa niyo dun na related sa nominated skill niyo. Mas detalyado mas maganda, although hindi ibig sabihin dapat mahaba yun write up niyo. Ilagay niyo yun technologies/tools used niyo and role sa projects.

Tama Sir 5 years pagka group B and close to the nominated skill. Currently my Post title is Infrastructure analyst mag 8 months pa lang. The rest of my experience Systems Eng/Admin na. Ang nominate ko sana is Systems Analyst since yun ang nasa schedule at yun ang closest sa experience ko.

Advice ko po, basta tailor mo na lang po yun employer and work references niyo according to your nominated skill, and all will be well. Kasi ako software engineer ang nominated skill ko, yun 2nd job ko ang title ko is malayo sa nominated skill, pero inayos ko na lang based na din sa description sa ANZSCO. So ayun naging okay naman.
