@btarroja213 Boss tsip salamat sa info. anong occupation pina assess mo sa EA? Yang 15 weeks kasama na dyan yung pagdating ng snail mail na result ng assessment sayo?

Actually, officially 16 weeks na publish ng EA. Kasama na 10 days to 2 weeks na snail mail to Singapore. Waiting pa po ako sa results ng CDR ko as Production Engineer. Mga 7 weeks pa yung sa akin.

Balik na po sa dating 16 weeks mula sa 19 weeks turnaround time.

Yung sa akin po nag e-mail yung assessor hanap yung IELTS results soft copy so i quickly
sent it last monday. Ibig sabihin po ba non, tapos na ang assessment and pina finalize na lang?
April 11 po nila na-receive yung docs ko so roughly 14-15 weeks na ang nakalipas.
Sana ok. cross fingers....

Balik napo sa 16 weeks ang TAT ng assessment. I got my receipt for my CDR for Electronics Engineer last March 22, 2013 and received the result via snail mail last July16, 2013 here in Japan. The date on the letter was July 8, 2013.

hey guys ung hubby ko my ielts na tapos gagawa nalang kami ng cdr. Dba ang ielts dapat diretso padala sa kanila ng center? pano po un kasi ung ielts result nya 4months ago pa samin un.. pano po kaya un? pa help naman..

@rachelle_gan2 Madam don't worry 5 copies po ang pwede ibigay ng BC. I-request nyo lang sa BC na iforward yung 1 copy sa Vetassess.

About EA, I have a few questions:

1. How long will I have to wait before EA provide the result?
Boss tsip amo, from EA's website turnaround is currently about 16 weeks (https://www.engineersaustralia.org.au/about-us/migration-skills-assessment).
2. How do I know if my documents were received by EA?
The first sign would be when you see thru online banking that your credit card has been charged by EA.
3. Do I need to wait for the assessment of EA before I proceed with the skill select?

@lock_code2004 Nga pala tanong lang din regarding sa Detailed COE. Gumawa ako ng sarili kong draft ng COE, based doon sa requirements ng EA, and also aligned sa ANZSCO description for Electronics Engineer, which is yun naman talaga ang work ko noong Junior/Senior Engineer pa lang ako... more technical saka ground work.

Kaya lang yung last position held ko is Engineering Group Lead, kaya ang binigay na detailed COE nung previous company ko is more on Management of Projects, Managing Engineers/Technicians, etc... Hindi kaya sasabit yun sa EA?

Kailangan ko ba gumawa ng another COE na aligned sa ANZSCO and gawa ng statutory declaration?

Idol palagay ko di naman sasabit yung coe niyo pero kung ako yan idol, (and it's just me) gagawa na lang ako uli ng draft for my last position sa huling company ko and request for another on which ang gagamitin kong duties is yung halos kapareho pa din nung binigay nila sa akin. Kumbaga idol ipapasok ko dun sa duties na hinihingi ng EA pa din yung COE ko.

Sa akin lang idol, medyo mahirap kasi talagang magbaka-sakali pagdating dito e, kumbaga e alam naman natin na sugal itong ginagawa natin pero gusto natin palakihin yung chances natin na manalo.

Sa akin idol experience ko, ang nailagay ko na duties 3 lang nung una, so ayun, kinapalan ko na mukha ko at nagdraft uli ako at nagrequest. hehe!

@wizardofOz Boss tsip, kung ako ang gagawin ko ay prepare ulit ng bagong COE na kopya ng binigay nila pero idadagdag ko yung duties ko nung junior/senior engr pa lang ako. Kapalan na ng mukha.hehe

baka kasi hindi maisip ni EA na hindi ka magiging GL kung di ka dumaan sa pagdedesign/technical work. tama si boss @joestrummer, kailangan palakihin ang chances na makakuha ng positive assessment.

mga boss, paano ba yung statutory declaration?

naisip ko kasi, kung sakaling ayaw nilang magbigay ng COE nung Technical+Managerial duties, gagawa na lang ako ng sarili kong COE, and mag-statutory declaration na lang.

@wizardofOz Boss tsip di ko alam ang stat dec. Ang ginawa ko gumawa ako ng draft ng coe (Supplement to COE) using comp letterhead tapos nagdagdag ako ng 5 main duties. Pinapirma ko sa department manager then pina CTC sa notary public together with COE from company.

Kaya ko ginawa to dahil ayaw mag issue ng COE na aligned sa EA requirements.

Baka pwedeng ganyan na rin gawin mo kung makakahingi ka ng papel na may letterhead ng company

@wizardofOz, idol, tama si idol @jepoy527, gawa kayo ng main 5 duties na pwede niyo maipasok dun sa listed sa anzsco then papirmahan niyo na lang. Either way babasahin naman yun ni boss tsip amo manager bago niya pirmahan. I promise you sir it will all be worth the effort.

@jepoy527 Salamat chief! April 11 yung receipt date tapos yung letter July 17 naman, halos 16 weeks din. Medyo malayo layo pa at kelangan ko pa mag IELTS ulit kapos ako sa puntos.

Ang nangyare share ko lang po, napansin ng agent ko na hindi naka indicate ang skilled relevant assessment outcome so nag-email ako ulit kagabi to request another letter na indicate yung work experience assessement outcome kasi nagpa-assess nga din naman ako nun, eh baka di ko makuha yung 10pts. kapag wala yun sa letter. So nagreply naman agad si EA officer, (nag apologize for the error) so padadalhan uli ako ng panibagong letter soon.

Share lang po ulit, yung sa 2 ex-employer ko ayaw nila ako bigyan ng proper CoE (mapa-HR or manager ko mismo before) so ang advice ni agent, kontakin ko yung ex-colleague na mas mataas sa dati kong posisyon para sila na ang pumirma sa mga CoE ko with detailed j/d tapos ang naging prob walang company letterhead so ang solusyon po nag-attach kami ng namecard ng bawat ex-colleague na pumirma, awa ng diyos tinanggap naman po. Diyan ako natagalan kasi panay overseas din yung isang signatory ko, buti hindi naman tinawagan ng EA para mag verify.

ah sige diskartehan ko, kapit-bahay naman namin yung dati kong boss baka mapakiusapan hahaha... Medyo apprehensive kasi sya na ang mag-issue, baka daw ma-bypass nya ang HR namin...

may isa pa pala akong tanong mga pafs, clarify ko lang yung sa Additional Assessment for Skilled Employment.

Bale doon sa previous CompanyA ko 8 years and 3 months yung employment ko sa kanila...

Then dito sa current CompanyB employer ko, 2 years and 7 months pa lang ako.

Nabasa ko ito sa booklet:

"2. Applicability of additional services

those who have at least 1 year Australian work
experience, and / or at least 3 years Overseas work
experience in their nominated occupation or a closelyrelated
occupation."

So ibig sabihin ba nun, kung ngayon ko na issubmit ang application ko sa EA, ang pwede ko lang i-apply for Additional Assessment for Skilled Employment is CompanyA lang... hindi ko pa pwede isama si ComanyB dahil wala pa akong 3 years doon?

@wizardofOz - nope.. if you notice yung EOI pts for work experience eto ang increment
3 yrs - 5pts, 5 yrs - 10 pts, 8yrs - 15pts

- so ang ibig sabhin, kung meron kang total na atleast 3yrs work of experience, kailangan/recommended na magavail ka nung additional service to check if your work exps are relevant/related to your nominated occupation.. para maka-claim ka ng EOI pts for work exp..

- now if you want to maximize and get the whole 15pts, you need to provide all info/supporting docs for both comp A and B mo..

Currently dito sa CompanyB ko, ayoko sanang ipaalam na may ina-applyan ako kaya ayaw kong magrequest ng mga requirements like detailed COE...

@wizardofOz - technically yes...

- i have the almost the same case, Job A- almost 8 yrs, Job B- 3 yrs... all my career episodes are from Job A.

- is job A the same as job B, and both are relevant to the nominated occupation?
as in swak na swak sa ANZSCO job description?

- take note, if one of your CDR-Career episode is based on Job B, you need to provide supporting documents on that..
