Guys, sa mga nag PAL, how much nyo po nakuha and ilang baggage allowance po ang binigay sa inyo?

Hi All,

I can be able to offer a one-way ticket to Australia via Singapore Airlines; the only catch here is that 20kg lang ang baggage allowance (for first time migrant, nagbibigay naman sila ng 5kg extra as per our experience).

Just for guidance, the one way trip from Manila to Sydney for Sept 15 departure is USD 805.00; if interested PM me your best offer!

@peach17 hi sis, sorry for late reply medyo nabusy lang. Booked our tickets na thru IOM, total amount paid was P79,914 for 3 tickets (me, my husband and our 8 years old daughter). Manila-Sydney-Melbourne kami this Oct 15. 40 kilos per passenger ang baggage allowance. Medyo mahal nga ang taxes nila eh ewan ko ba kung bakit pero need to book na talaga. Kailan alis nyo sis?

@amedina @peach17 .... 29k yung ticket ko Manila - Sydney.... 40kgs yung allowable na check-in baggage.. if interested... pwede ko bigay sa inyo yung pinagkunan ko... paki pm na lang ako...ni recommend kasi sya noong agency ko...

Manila-Sydney-Melbourne kami this Oct 15. 40 kilos per passenger ang baggage allowance. Medyo mahal nga ang taxes nila eh ewan ko ba kung bakit pero need to book na talaga. Kailan alis nyo sis?

Sa naghahanap pa lang po, sale po ang Malaysia Airlines until July 31. Yung tickets for 2 from Manila to Sydney USD906 lang with 30 kg check-in baggage for each passenger. Kami magpapa-book pa lang ng MNL - Melbourne for December flight.

Believe hindi pwede yung nanay mo as in the first place hindi naman sya immigrant - this is per policy ha.

Then again, there would be no harm I believe if you can call them directly and explain your question. They would be in the best position to answer this!

@StickyNote, nasa Makati kami knina to settle na sana yung pinareserve namin sa Qantas Airlines.
Pero before going there nagpunta muna kami sa Malaysian Airlines, Singapore Airlines and even sa Cathay Pacific para magcanvass since sa Makati area lang din naman sila. At tama ka, may promo nga ang Malaysian Airlines. eto ang niquote sa amin

Kaya bigla kami napaurong sa Qantas. Although ang advantage sa Qantas eh direct flight na sya and 40kg na agad ang baggage allowance.

Kaya eto, nagmumuni muni kami... Pumipili kung iavail ang Malaysian Airlines offer or stick with Qantas.

@peach17 IMHO kung may kasama kang bata, better go for direct flight... kakaawa ang bata pag hindi direct... pero kung wala naman, kung san makakatipid... opinion ko lang

I might not be purchasing my ticket via IOM though since I checked with Malaysian Airlines and found a one-way fare to Adelaide for just around P16k, with 30kgs allowed baggage. Perhaps I can purchase additional baggage allowance with the fare difference.

PAL - thru an agent sabi ni @multitasking lang yung ng offer ng 40kg, pero pag sa main office nila hindi sila nag bibigay ng 40. 23kg lang based sa pag canvass na ginawa namin

I got a quote from IOM with the following details:

Fare - P28,379.00

Hi @mariamorris, we also did not avail the IOM quotation.
We chose Malaysia Airlines. Nasa 19K yung fare per passenger. Way cheaper than IOM and Qantas.

Then if we plan to purchase additional baggage, 28USD daw for every 5kg

mag avail ka na din ba? I believe until tomorrow na lang (July 31) ang promo nila.

@peach17 ang laki din ng natipid nyo sa Malaysia Airlines. Malaking bagay din talaga ang promo. Kami di pa naka-avail ng promo. Melbourne kasi ang hanap naming flight sa last week of December. @peach17 ang laki din ng natipid nyo sa Malaysia Airlines. Malaking bagay din talaga ang promo. Kami di pa naka-avail ng promo. Melbourne kasi ang hanap naming flight sa last week of December. Di kasama sa promo yung flight na gusto namin. Yung MH705 na Kuala Lumpur flight ang gusto namin. Tapos 3 hrs lang ang waiting time sa connecting flight to Melbourne.

@peach17 ah talaga until today na lang pala ang promo? Eh kelangan na pala talaga mag book. Nakapagbook na ba kayo? Problem ko lang is nasa province ako now so I don't know if pwede ang booking through phone. I have to call Malaysia Air, hopefully pwede naman over the phone.. BTW, totoo yung 28USD for every 5kg na extra baggage? Pwedeng pwede na nga.
