@wizardofOz - technically yes...

- i have the almost the same case, Job A- almost 8 yrs, Job B- 3 yrs... all my career episodes are from Job A.

- is job A the same as job B, and both are relevant to the nominated occupation?
as in swak na swak sa ANZSCO job description?

- take note, if one of your CDR-Career episode is based on Job B, you need to provide supporting documents on that..

yes parehas lang yung trabaho ko sa companyA and companyB. Ang difference lang is yung jobA ko, Group Lead ako, more on management and mentorship to engineers and techs, while dito ngayon as jobB ay individual/technical contributor ako ulet. Basically parehas at aligned pa rin sa ANZSCO yung core responsibilities ko on both jobs.

Regarding Career Episode na nabanggit mo, so kung merong galing sa jobB ko, kailangan ko mag-provide ng supporting docs (e.g. detailed COE from CompanyB, etc), pero yung companyB ko is hindi pwedeng isama for Skilled Employment Assessment.. si CompanyA lang ang pwede... Tama?

pwede isama both... basta may documents ka...
yung 3 yrs na sinasabi nila is MINIMUM TOTAL work exp assessment for the "additional service for work experience to claim points"..

Note: magkaiba ang skills assessment (it will be based on your CDR/career episode) versus yung additional service sa work experience..Kaya magkaiba rin ang bayad nila..

a) yung standard skills assessment - it will be based on your CDR/career episode, at wlang tinitingnang minimum work exp dito.. ang importante mademonstrate mo yung skills required

b) yung additional service sa work experience - ay titingnan kung ang lahat ng work exp mo ay relevant sa nominated occupation, so you can claim points.. at para maka-claim ng points, you need to have ATLEAST 3 YEARS CUMULATIVE work experience (kahit isa or ilang company pa yan)

so in your case:

sa A) standard skills assessment - kung anung career episodes mo, kailangan mong magprovide ng COE+job desc sa job na yun..

about

yung additional service sa work experience,
- kung gusto mo isama both, walang problema...
- kung gusto mo Job A lang, okay lang din kasi 8 yrs ka naman dun (you can claim max 15pts)
- kung job B lang, hindi ka makakuha ng points ( kasi less than 3yrs un)

so if you decided to include both.. your assessment will be something like this;
a) skills assessment - positive; education - comparable to AU degree ( or AU diploma)
b) work exp - Job A (8yrs) + job B (2 yrs) = 10 yrs assessed as relevant to nominated occupation

@lock_code2004 ok gets ko na. nung una kasi ang pagkakaintindi ko, kapag nagpa-assess ka ng work experience, treated individually per employer (should be min 3 yrs in each employer), though relevant sila

Mga Sir, tanong lang po sa mga gumagawa o nakagawa na ng kanilang career episode, regarding sa statement of duties under "background", pwede po bang cut and paste ko na lang yung duties and responsibilities doon sa ginawa kong job description na pinapirmahan ko sa boss ko?
Then kung lahat ng career episode ko e galing sa isang company, pwede bang lahat sila e pare-pareho ng duties and responsibilities since same lang naman yung position ko though different yung activity na ginawa ko?

____ yrs assessed as relevant to nominated occupation..anu po e-mail address nu at ill send u a copy..para po alam ko if that is enuf or I need to inform EA again...

@boneman: Yung "duties and responsibilities" sa background section ng CE is yung specific responsibilites mo for that particular project or career episode. Pwedeng part sya ng RnR mo but not your RnR or job description as a whole. If you are describing your overall job or day-to-day activities for one CE, then you can put your job description sa background section. Now, since you said na yung 3 CEs mo are from 1 company, for 1 CE, you can describe your RnR as a whole, but for your 2 other CEs, you should describe a project or a problem that you were involved in solving.

Also, yung mga CEs mo are a test of your communication skills as well. You should DESCRIBE what you did. Para kang nagke-kwento... kaya copy and paste is not a good idea.

ask ko lang kung meron sa inyo nakaexpereince na preventive maintenance ang work then ang inaplyan nyo is Plant enginerer/Production (under ba sya ng professional/associate or technologist? pipili lang ba sa tatlo or lahat ung parehas?

I am also working as maintenance engineer (pharmaceutical) so ang grant sa akin ay Engineering Technologist.

hello po magtatanong lng po.
nagsubmit ako sa EA yun july 23 at narecieved po nila ng July 26 thru dhl. pero hindi pa po sila nagkakaltas sa credit card. and wala din po ako narrecieve aknowledgement po from knila po. 11 days n po nasknila yun mga docs ko po.pano po b yun? ok na lng po b yun? when po sila nagkakaltas sa credict card? habang hindi pa nagcredit. hindi pa nila irereview or hindi pa nila iproprocess yun papers ko?

hello guys. it has been a while. finally finished my CDR. for printing na and if ok na lahat will send it to EA. question, since I am not currently employed right now, wala akong po box for the return address. how can i inform EA na ang return address if may feedback man is through courier na lang and will pick it up from the office of that courier? TIA

as far as i know, wla nmn ganyan for engineers... para sa medical courses lang yan like nursing..

@Spankee04 - kung required ng license sa work sguro kailangan mag aral..
example yung mga building code etc na iba dito sa AU versus sa pinas..
so baka un ang mga courses na kailangan pag-aralan..

Pero mga Sirs and Madams, bka po meron sa inyo template ng CDR for Mechanical Engineer. Makikisuyo lang po sana ng sample sa kung sinong meron.

@Spankee04 boss tsip di ko alam kung merong ganyan for engineers. tama si sir @lock_code2004, pang nurse lang yan. siguro Au codes lang ang kailangang matutunan kaya nag-aaral ulit mga friends mo.
sa case ko (Structural Engineer), napansin ko yung Au/Nz codes halos kapareho lang ng American codes so medyo madali na lang aralin.

Good Day po!

I'm planning to change my nominated occupation from Telecommunications Engineer to Field Telecommunications Engineer kasi konti nalang po ang slot for Telecommunications Engineer for this year. What I noticed is that for Field telecommunications engineer ang requirement lang po nila is 3 year technical diploma at hindi degree holder. Makaka apekto po ba to sa Educational points ko, noting na degree holder naman ako? Base po ksi sa points for educational qualifications nila bachelor degree will have 15 points at 10 points naman for trade qualification. I tried to call EA but they referred me to DIAC, unfortunately tinatawagan ko rin po ang DIAC pero end up hanging up the phone sa tagal ng paghihintay.
