    hello, ask ko lang po kung meron senyo nag-apply for course sa AU B.S. Information Technology? Magkano ang per semester, expenses and how long? sang school pepede in melbourne. Nag-send ako ng inquiry sa IDP pero wala pko narereciv na reply. Option ko kc sana to for my brother to potentially makapag-apply sya for PR in future sa AU. no work experience kc sya in IT. holding a PH degree lang. thanks in advance sa makakapagshare ng information.

    @tenseako Because I'll be bringing a lot of things to Aus and I need to be there on the 2nd of September, I decided to go for Jetstar Airways because if I am not mistaken they are the only one who offers up to 40 kgs of baggage for the additional baggage.A total of 15 hrs (travel time) lang din kasi ung sa Jetstar compared sa iba na 20hrs in total. At dahil din sa sobrang excited hindi na ako nakapag-research sa mga ibang airlines. Pero sa PAL and Quantas almost the same lang ang price but mga 25 or 30kgs lang pwedeng checked-in baggage and mahal ang bayad para sa additional baggage. :) Ikaw? What's your plan? Ano ba ung madalas na kinukuha na airlines nila dito sa forum?

    24 July 2013 - Medical Uploaded (according to St. Luke's)
    26 July 2013 - Submitted CoE and CAAW to DIAC via email
    9 August 2013 - Emailed the Embassy to ask an update.
    12 August 2013 - Embassy replied that my application was being assess under Assessment Level 3. That I still need to wait for a total of 60 working days. Emailed them back and said that I should be under SVP / Streamlined Visa, at the same time, I also informed and email IDP Manila about the matter.
    14 August 2013 - Received their response. Said that they will try to finalize my visa in two weeks, still on the 3rd of September. And said that my application was reallocated under SVP.
    16 August 2013 - Received an email from the embassy and text message. Visa Grant!

    My wait is finally over. Thanks God!

    @lightsaber07 not sure kung ano ung common na kinukuha nila dito e. pero IDP informed me that when IDP students buy tickets to Qantas through them, may additional baggage na 10kgs din so 40kgs daw. plan ko sa Qantas nlng bumili..

    @tenseako kakacheck ko lang meron silang 21 hrs 40 mins tapos may 2 stopovers. 20,944php then siguro mura lang yung addtl per kgs. Not sure lang.

    @tenseako you may check the website para sure ka. Kasi may 10kgs na kasama but maybe may makita kang mas malaki ang luggage allowance. :)

    @tenseako I got a ticket from Jetstar for only 22k with 40kgs check-in baggage and 10kg allowance for your cabin + carry-on baggage. Actually mas mahal ng kunti sa Quantas and ung travel time nila is 18 hours in average, madalas 20 hours, tapos madalas sobrang aga or sobrang gabi ang arrival sa mga prefered date ko na pumunta. That's why I decided to go with Jetstar Airways. Pero depende din kasi sa akin less than 2 weeks nalang sayo medyo matagal pa naman.

    July 19 - sent my TOR to Uni.
    July 22 - Uni received my TOR
    July 24 - received my UNCONDITIONAL OFFER.
    July 31 - paid tuition fees and received COE
    Sept 16 - lodged visa application 573 SVP with one dependent thru VIA
    Sept 17 - acknowledgement from embassy with medical request.
    Sept 18 - Medical Examination at NHSI
    Sept 24 - Medical forwarded to Embassy
    Oct 4 - Phone interview with CO.
    Oct 7 - Emailed immi asking for updates
    Oct 8 - Received email from immi stating application is under assessment.
    Oct 9 - Received text message from Air 21 and Embassy that my documents has been dispatched.
    Oct 9 - visa refusal! :(

    Kung di ako tumawag ngayon, di ko malalaman na nun pa palang August 16 na upload sa DIAC ung medical results ko from NHSI. Called this morning to them. Nagtataka lang ako bakit ni wala man lang email(not even sa spam) notifying me that the results were uploaded.

    Thank God naman kung sa DIAC na. Official abangers na talaga ako :P
