    San makukuha yung Positive Skill Assessment? Gusto ko rin po via State Sponsorship apply, di na ba kailangan ng IELTS dito.

    Please do let me know. Thanks.

    @mr_singapore2009 - no worries.. that is step number 1 in the process described in the post..

    1. Identify if your occupation/skill is in the SOL/CSOL ...
    pag binasa nyo yung list nandun nakalagay kung sa tapat ng occupation kung anu ang assessing authority... (ACS for IT jobs, EA- for engrs, Vetassess- for general occupations...etc)..

    san makikita ang SOL/CSOL?
    nandun din sa first post... check mo ung skillselect.com..

    let me know pag hindi mo mahanap..

    Bali po Accountant and Singapore PR ako at planning ko rin po mag apply ng SS habang 38 years old pa lang ako.

    Questions ko lang po:

    1. Pwede na po ba mag apply ng SS sa Victoria kahit di ala pa ako detailed job descriptions and at the same time pwede na rin ba mag apply ng EOI sa DIAC pero save as draft ko lang muna din kahit di pa complete detailed job description ko kasi nsa gathering pa lang ako.

    2. Yung ibang company ko di ko mahingan ng detail job description, pwede ako na lang ba gumawa at ipanotaryo ko or any mganda gawin po.

    Hi, I don't know if this is the correct thread to raise this question of mine. Newbie po ako sa forum na to and like you guys, I have this really passionate urge and dream to go to the land down under. So sana like those successful pinoys and pinays na naachieve yung dream, maging ganun din kapalaran ko...anyways, going back to my question.. I might sound stupid but I really have to raise this question...actually po, this is for the case of my friend....he is a graduate po ng Industrial Engineering sa Mapua kaya lang his career went to a different route and he landed a job in a Call Center and ending up as a Call Centre Manager which is included po sa CSOL List. My question is, papano po nya ipapaassess yung educational qualifications nya and his work experience as hindi po related yung work nya sa course nya...what can you advice guys sa puede nya gawin? Can he still pursue the filing of his work experience assessment sa vetassess and file a separate assessment sa Engineers Australia for his educational qualification or ano pa po ang route na pupuede nya gawin???...suggestions from the veterans here are very much welcome...hope to shed some light for me and my friend as kahit ako, di ko masagot yung question nya...

    anyways more power po sa mga kababayan naten sa buong panig ng mundo...heheheh (my apologies for sounding really cheesy and corny) but maraming salamat po sa mga makakasagot.... :) :) :)

    @aceylicious2424 - im an IE too..

    i would say, there are two ways:

    1. magpa-assess sya as Call Center Manager, at pwede naman nyang gamitin ang degree nya as IE.. dahil wala namang talang specific course para gaming call center manager.. so i would say na pwede naman yang maging relevant course..

    good thing about IE, it is in SOL, so hindi kailangan ng sponsorship, you can apply directly assuming you have 60pts minimum..

    @ep_ricablancajr - i suggest you read the thread "how to start my application"...

    to answer your questions:
    1. depende po yan kung IT related ang course nyo or not.. please check with ACS thread or directly to ACS website

    2. visa 489 is 4 years validity and valid only for regional areas of the state that nominated you..

    3. you need 55pts + SS visa 190 5pts = 60 pts.. ilan na ang points mo now? pwede naman kasing 55pts kana kahit wla kang points sa ielts..
    Related experience ko ay 2yrs as Network Administrator.

    eto po
    Age= 30
    EILTS=0
    Experience=5
    Education=15
    VISA 489=10
    ===========

    60 Points lang po lahat.

    @lock_code2004 Thank you po sir sa very detailed explanation. This is what I love in this forum, napakahelpful po ng mga tao...

    Thank you sir @lock_code2004...I will let my friend read your response to our inquiry. Actually, may experience naman cia sa Process Improvement kaya lang Greenbelt Training lang ng Six Sigma ang meron yung friend ko and yung projects nya for process improvement eh hindi naman ganun ka-large and ka-complex...

    Anyways, sobrang thank you po....balak po namin ng friend ko na by January 2014 magpa-assess for our Australia dream...Both po kami if ever, nasa 65 points po...I am crossing my fingers that we can get through the tedious process.... :) :) :)

    hi po to all. im a newbie in this forum. i did some backreading already. my question po is what is my chance kaya of being qualified to migrate to australia considering eto pa lang yung more or less number of points ko. so far 45 points pa lang po ito d pa po kasama ung ielts, hoping maka-7 man lang para me 10 points pa ako. kung maka 10 points po ako sa ielts (keeping my fingers crossed) another 10 points so makatotal ako ng 55 points. me chance po ba ako? also,

    Age = 15 points
    IELTS = not yet taken
    Work Experience = 15 points (tama po ba ito? i have a total of around 15 years of work experience)
    Education = 15 points (tama po ba na 15 points kung bachelor's degree from UP and currently having my master's degree in DLSU? d ko po kasi sure kasi d masyado clear).
    state sponsorship??

    i intend to have my skills assessed sa vetassess pero before doing that i would like to clarify first regarding sa points system nila kung qualified nga ako.

    thanks in advance for your reply.

    Kung 55pts lang, I am sorry to be blunt but walang chance yun at all... 60 minimum kasi to be considered.

    Good news is that you can be able to claim an additional 5 pts if you get a state sponsorship.

    hello good day

    question, i was looking into subclass 190 before pero parang tagilid ako kasi yung occupation ko is architectural draftsperson via ENS only sa vetassess...

    now yung state sponsorship for architectural draftsperson chineck ko sa south australia nakalagay is "offlist criteria applies"

    if possible ba since "civil engineering dratsperson" nakalagay highly available tapos yung previous work ko though architectural ako pero ginagawa ko before is partly architecture and partly value engineering may possibility ba na maapprove ako?

    via state sponsorship kung ideclare ko is civil engineering draftsperson pero tapos ako nang archi?

    in case maabot ko yung 60 pero hindi naman nominated sa state yung profession ko...pero nominated sa occupation list via subclass 190/189

    may pagasa kaya maapprove ako?...maraming salamat pera kasi usapan dito e..haha

    I haven't lost everything except my mind...

    this is incorrect.. work exp are counted (whether in phils, abroad or aus) as long as its related to your nominated occupation..

    1) lahat ng nasa CSOL na occupation pwede lang sa visa 190/489 at ENS...
    2) ENS - kailangan mo ng employer
    3) kung state sponsorship naman, dapat of course merong state na magsponsor na available.. so kahit pumasa ka sa assessment pero wala ng state na available. hindi ka rin ma-iinvite sa EOI..

    now, regarding skills assessment, assuming na sakto ang job description mo at sa requirement ng vetassess.. pwede nmn yan,

    this is incorrect.. work exp are counted (whether in phils, abroad or aus) as long as its related to your nominated occupation..
    @lock_code2004 and @mh_con
    yeah, sorry, let me qualify.

    First, You need to get your skills assessed. Your work experience will count when you get your skills assessed. BUT it won't get you that 15 points you mentioned if you worked only in PH.
    To get those additional points, you need the following:
    Skilled employment outside Australia
    At least three but less than five years (of past 10 years) -5 pts
    At least five but less than eight years (of past 10 years) -10 pts
    At least eight and up to 10 years (of past 10 years) -15 pts

    Skilled employment in Australia
    At least one but less than three years (of past 10 years) - 5 pts
    At least three but less than five years (of past 10 years) - 10 pts
    At least five but less than eight years (of past 10 years) - 15 pts
    At least eight and up to 10 years (of past 10 years) - 20 pts
    hehe correct me if I am wrong though :)

    Question po. My sister will be applying for act state sponsorship as a retail buyer. One of the requirements is to provide atleast five job postings in your nominated occupation that is relevant to your skill set. But the problem is when i look up at seek.com there is no job opening for retail buyer. My question is pwede ba na she will provide other job postings na hindi mismo "retail buyer" but still relevant to her skill set?like jobs in retail/merchandising etc? May nakaexperience nadin po b neto pero nakakuha padin ng state sponsorship?

    @kremitz, it says:
    job advertisements must be relevant to the nominated occupation e.g. Manager occupations: managerial positions must be provided. You should not include assistant, representative, support or junior positions.

    But I am unsure about retail buyer. What does it entail and what is the difference between that job and the retail/merchandising jobs you mentioned?
    If retail buyer is the one who purchases merchandise that a store will sell, and then you add jobs that are saleslady type, that might not qualify.

    Sir anu at panu po ba yung requirement na ganito ng Victoria State Sponsorship?

    Finances

    You must have adequate financial resources to support yourself and your dependants (if you have any) when you migrate to Victoria, or while you look for suitable employment. The Onshore Applicants table and Offshore Applicants table show the financial resources you must have access to, to support your nomination application.
    We do not require evidence of these financial resources.
