    Medyo mahaba ang kwento ko.. Iklian ko na lang..
    I've been requesting to be transferred here in our perth office since last year.. Pero wla daw open position for me.. Ang hula ko they dont want to pay for my relocation..

    I took a vacation leave (1 yr) from US, para pwde alo bumalik in case wala ako mahanap na work dito sa perth.

    2 days pagdating ko dito...pumunta ako dito sa office namin at sinabi ko i want to work here..ininterview ako ng Hr at ng ibang managers.. They said they will arrange something.. I never heard from them .. Until after a month...

    Last week they called me and offered a position.. ;) so i started today sep9..

    Ang problema, nakausap ko rin ang isa pang competitor company, and they will talk to me on friday for another position na alam kong mas mataas ang offer...

    So should i continue with company A, na dito na ako work for more than 5 yrs.... Or company B mas mataas job grade pero panibagong start at walang kasiguruhan kung magugustuhan ko dito...

    Note: company A is no.1 in the industry, while B is no.4 in terms of revenue/operations/number of employees...

    So help me God!!

    My take on this, if the pay difference is very high more than 15% increase, I may consider Company B - however if less than 15% increase, I will slug it out with my old company and take comfort in the fact that I know the patakaran there.

    agree with TasBurFoot. Also, pag-aralan mo mabuti alin sa 2 ung inaalagaan mga employees nila, as well as san ka may mas matututunan. tska mas ok din if di ka na mag-rretool. :-) try mo kaya sabihin sa company A na ngooffer si B ng mas malaki? hehe
    Oil and Energy companies ba ito? Sa IT ka rin ba? :-)

    @stolich18 - naalala ko, may master's thesis is with Co A.. I analyzed the career patterns of top 200 management and 200 ramdom employees... And manority of them started and stayed with the company.. It's one of the reason why i want to stay..

    Nag-aalangan din ako sa manager na naghire sa akin.. Sbi nya nilakad daw nya mabuti itong position na ito for me...

    My take, minsan hindi lahat nattapatan ng sweldo. Look after the working environment and welfare of the employee. Remember, almost half of your life eh sa work mo ini-spend. Pero kung 50% ang pay diff eh ano pang pinapatumpik tumpik mo?! Hehehe.

    hello papa @lock_code2004...ang sarap ngman ng problema mo...kung ako naman ang tatanungin mo, setting practicality aside and following your heart, feeling ko mas better sa Co. A ka since yung loyalty mo is dito na and gamay mo na din ang industry nila dito...eventually, tataas din naman sahod mo sa mga raise, promotion, or sa negotiations mo eh...and ikaw na din nagsabi na no.1 si Co. A so mas malaki ang stability rate nya sa economy...you are safer sa ganitong companya... ;)

    Hindi po ako sa oil company operators (shell, chevron etc) nagwowork... Im working for Upstream oilfield services (exploration, drilling) companies like schlumberger,haliburton, baker hughes, weatherford..

    Hindi din ako sa IT, i've had different roles from ERP analyst to manufacturing and quality...

    @lock_code2004 boss tsip Company A lalo na kung kabisado mo na ang pasikot sikot, kumportable at di naman ganun kalaki ang offer ni Company B. Mas magiging madali na kasi ang buhay mo dahil gamay mo na ang sistema ni Company A.
    pero kung x2 or more ang ibibigay ni Company B at guaranteed contract ka for at least 6 months to a year, bakit hindi? kung hindi ka man i-renew after ng contract naka-gain ka na ng local experience na kailangan mo at mas malaki na savings mo.

    aww with so many success stories here, im disheartened.. gusto ko sana mag apply ng 489. its a provision visa. kaso takot naman ako walang makuhang work. Altho, ang dami kong nabbaasang good things about Adelaide. :(

Sa paghanap ng work, kanya kanyang diskarte yan, kanya kanyang swerte, kanya knyang sipag, tiwala sa sarili at sa Diyos. Merong nkakakuha agad ng work, merun ding matagal bago mkahanap. Pro pag my takot ka sa mga ganyang posibleng mangyari, wlang mangyayari sayo. Magiging hanggang pangarap na lg ang OZ.. Panu mo malalaman ang swerte mo dito kung hndi mo susubukan? ika nga FACE YOUR FEAR..

    @raiden14 oo nga tama si sis @nfronda, big challenge talaga ang pagpunta sa Australia, panibagong simula. Don't let your fear overcome your dream.. Kung gusto mo talaga yan, may paraan, pag ayaw, maraming dahilan.. ika nga, "admire the person whose dream is bigger than his fear" :)

    I need an input please. My hubby has an offer na for a managerial position. But the offer is kind of weird, only salary, super and leaves were discussed. Is it always like this in Au? Is it the normal offer? I mean no other benefits whatsoever? TIA.

    @jengrata..Yes, yan lg namn kadalasan ang inooffer ng mga company d2.. Ung other benefits e didiscuss na lg yan pag tinanggap mo na ang offer.. But that 3 is the most important to be discussed in offering a job..

    06-01-11: Arrived Australia (457 visa dependent on my dad)
    28-05-12: Lodged RSMS 857 visa (seperate from my dad already)
    28-06-12: Done Medical check
    30-10-12: Submit AFP check
    07-11-12: Went home on a bridging visa B for holiday and wedding..:)
    12-01-13: CO allocated and nomination approved
    18-01-13: CO asked documents of my husband to be included on my application as migrating dependent..Thank u LORD!
    15-02-13: Husband completed all requirements (police check, medical, english requirements and joint statement)
    15-02-13: CO issued pre-grant letter instructing hubby to apply tourist visa to enter Australia in order our 857 visa to be granted.
    27-02-13: Hubby applied Subclass 676 tourist visa.
    06-03-13: Hubby's tourist visa approved.
    16-03-13: Hubby arrived Australia.
    18-03-13: Our RSMS 857 visa granted.. (nothing to ask more)
