    Airfare - P16,297.00/pax
    Baggage Allowance - 30kgs
    Date of Departure - August 30 (myself) and Oct 4 (partner)
    Destination - Adelaide

    Nakisuyo na lang ako sa friend ko na puntahan ang office ng Malaysia Air to pay for my reservations since andito ako sa province. And then once that's done, I guess, that's it na. Totohanan na talaga sya. Hehe. Nakapagbook ka na din ba?

    Nag inquire din kasi kami sa knila, supposed to be sila ang kukukhanin namin, kaso bigla nag sale ang Malaysia Airlines kaya niscrap na namin yung sa Qantas :)

    hi @nar_jet, try mo sa Qantas Airlines. Yung promo fare nila before is nasa Php 28K with 40 kg bag. allowance na yan sis :)

    @peach17 meron na pala kayo tickets?

    Sa naghahanap pa lang po, sale po ang Malaysia Airlines until July 31. Yung tickets for 2 from Manila to Sydney USD906 lang with 30 kg check-in baggage for each passenger. Kami magpapa-book pa lang ng MNL - Melbourne for December flight.
    Have you tried PAL? We got ours, for only 79k, 3 adults, 2 kids and 1 infant with seat... We leave this nov. With only 23 kg check in baggage, i think the upside is that you dont have to bring lots of heavy bags/luggage. We'll use the saved money for shipping all other things that will not fall part of our check in or hand carry luggage..

    @jayp Mura ang nakuha nyo na tickets. I was also looking at PAL rates before kaya lang nakapagpa book na kami last August sa Malaysia Airlines nung magkaroon ng sale ang PAL. 65K ang nakuha naming tickets for 2 adults and 1 kid . Medyo mataas pero ok na din. December ang flight namin.

    We will be bringing more than the 30 kg check in baggage allowed. Dun na lang siguro kami makakabawi, mas mura kasi ang fee ng excess baggage sa Malaysia Airlines compared to PAL. An excess of 10 kg baggage with Malaysia Airlines would cost around 60 USD. Sa PAL an excess of 1 kilo costs 23 USD, so 230 US dollars na din ang 10 kilos pag sa PAL.

    Booked with Jetstar for >800 USD or roughly 35k Php. Since budget airline, konting tiis lang sa byahe. 2 hrs layover Singapore. Total travel time including layover is 10hrs. 75kg total check-in baggage allowance + 30kg handcarry baggage allowance.

    Pwedeng pwede na ito!! :) Yeah, tiis lang. It really ain't that bad...

    Suggestion is that if daytime flight ninyo, power up your iPad and load it with a good movie. Otherwise kung wala naman kayo, a good book will always come in handy.

    If nighttime flight, itulog niyo nalang... Ahahaha!!

    Nung July ang flight nya to Sydney :)

    Niresearch ko din nman ang Malaysia Airlines, madami syang Award kaya ok na din to.

    @jayp Mura ang nakuha nyo na tickets. I was also looking at PAL rates before kaya lang nakapagpa book na kami last August sa Malaysia Airlines nung magkaroon ng sale ang PAL. 65K ang nakuha naming tickets for 2 adults and 1 kid . Medyo mataas pero ok na din. December ang flight namin.

    We will be bringing more than the 30 kg check in baggage allowed. Dun na lang siguro kami makakabawi, mas mura kasi ang fee ng excess baggage sa Malaysia Airlines compared to PAL. An excess of 10 kg baggage with Malaysia Airlines would cost around 60 USD. Sa PAL an excess of 1 kilo costs 23 USD, so 230 US dollars na din ang 10 kilos pag sa PAL.

    Bayaran na lang namin yung excess baggage. I have inquired na sa Malaysia Airlines. 28USD per 5 kg ang rate ng excess baggage. Mga ilan dadalhin nyong maleta? Parang andami ko kasi dadalhin. Kami lang dalawa ni hubby. Ok lang ba mga 8 na maleta? Sa case nyo ba ilan dadalhin nyo?

    Booked with Jetstar for >800 USD or roughly 35k Php. Since budget airline, konting tiis lang sa byahe. 2 hrs layover Singapore. Total travel time including layover is 10hrs. 75kg total check-in baggage allowance + 30kg handcarry baggage allowance.

    guys, may tanong lang ako. sino na dito asng naka-experience na ma-cancel ang Air Asia flight?

    nakabili kasi ako ng ticket CRK-KUL-SYD January 2014. 17 thou pesos lang mura, kasama na ang 30kg baggage, seat, at meal. then last week nalaman ko na lang na itinigil na ng Air Asia Philippines ang operations nila sa Clark at ililipat na sa Manila. Then kinontact ko ang Airasia via twitter sabi nila di daw apektado ang flight ko kasi Air Asia Malaysia ang nagpapatakbo ng CRK-KUL flights. pero sasabihan na lang daw nila ako kung maka-cancel ang flight.


    Ngayon, ilang araw bago ang flight nila sasabihin na cancelled ang isang flight? two separate bookings kasi ang ginawa ko. CRK-KUL then KUL-SYD. so kung di ako makarating sa KUL sa takdang oras, maiiwanan ako ng KUL-SYD flight ko. so kung maaga pa lang sasabihin na ng air asia na cancelled yung flight, at least may time pa para makapagbook ng ibang flight para makarating ako sa takdang oras sa KUL.

    Feb 21, 2013- Received correct Assessment Outcome from EA
    March 1, 2013- Received confirmation from DIAC re Visa Application
    April 8, 2013- CO Allocated (Team 6- Adelaide)
    April 12, 2013- Medical Exam
    April 28, 2013- Submitted NBI Clearance
    June 27, 2013- Submitted Saudi PCC
    July 2, 2013- VISA GRANTED!

    Online ako nag book sa PAL... enough ba na ipakita yung visa grant pag tinanong ako kung bakit one way lang ang ticket ko? Aside sa additional baggage limit, ano pang advantage ng pagbook ng ticket thru ticketing office?
