    Btw, yung isa kong kakilalang taga Perth, ang sabi sa amin e marami daw Pinoy na nawalan ng trabaho recently at buti na lang daw may mga groups na nagre-raise ng funds para matulungan yung mga natanggalan ng trabaho. something like 400 daw yung nawalan ng work. How true is this?

    @floradanica im not sure about the numbers.. Ang alam ko may mga 457 visa holders ang alam ko nawalan ng work.. May mga pinoy org na tumutulong nagbibigay ng mga food etc..

    They have 3 months to look for another job.. Otherwise balik pinas na..;(

    Nakakatwa kasi yung mga kasama ko sa bahay minsan umuwi ng may dalang ang daming tinapay.. Pinamimigay nga raw eh sobrang dami na kaya binigyan din daw sila.. Haha..

    Normally pagmaramihan ang tanggalan, sasabhin slow ang business.. Un lng ang isang negative aspect pag work visa versus PR.. Anytime pag tinanggal k ng employer, at wla ka mahanap new job, mapapauwi ka tlga...;(

    Pero pag PR, di ka kakabahan na mapauwi ka..

    In both cases, tuloy lng ang laban, tuloy ang buhay!!!

    @lock_code2004.. naks, naman fremantle. :) wala pa kami ng anakis ko dyan. may hinihintay akong result ng interview, end of this week daw ang result. sana nga maka-uto ng employer bago pumunta dyan eh. hehe. if not, by January pa. si habibi andyan na pero wala pang work. chill-chill lang daw muna siya. :D last week, nakapasa na sa driving license. inaasikaso naman niya yung license nya sa TRA.

    nway, sa mga taga-Perth.. see you soon! :)

    @meehmooh We we're scheduled to make our first entry to Australia on Dec, 2013. I applied thru SEEK for about 5 months yata (I am still in SG now). Now, i got a call from this HR asking telling me if im willing to be interviewed in Perth. Sabi ko yes (gagastusan ko na no at the same time makaka first entry pa ko he he). Then 2 days later, HR called me and asking if im avail for interview the following day kasi yung Ops manager nila will be in SG for meeting for 2 days. So i made myself available syempre. Then I was interviewed here in SG, for i think an hr. Fortunately, the interviewer is the second highest in their company so that interviewed was the first as well as the final. I told him what I knew, what I experience, what I can do and what I am willing to do...then afterwards, constant ang communication with the HR manager, she asked a lot of things but not technical in nature. After 2 weeks, I believed that by God's grace that I am already hired and that I am waiting only for instruction to go for medical. But God is always giving us more than what we're asking for...2 days later she called me and they proposed that I have to do my medical in Perth..she asked me whether I am willing to fly to Perth for medical..but then, who can refuse that proposal? 5 days in Perth, free plane tickets & hotel just for half day medical exam??? To make story short, I spent weekends in Perth city and its surrounding, then on Monday, I took medical exams and got cleared. That afternoon, I went to their office (perth CBD) and discuss the contract and finally signed it (the offer is good even the super annuation is 14%). I requested for 2 weeks free accomodation para makakuha me ng permanent place, they're not only give me 2 weeks, but 4 weeks & even a month car rental free, plus 3 days stay in hotel during my arrival. God is really good. Do I deserve this? No, but thru His Grace I got it. I am sharing this exp not to boast on how good I am but How good God is. A lot of candidates are more qualified than us but if you rely on His Grace, you will be surprise on the favor that will be on you. Pray for favor whenever you send your CV to potential employer, and pray for wisdom whenever you're attending interview and you will be amazed on what God will put into ur mouth to utter.     sa case ko, sinabi na nila na they are offering the job on the condition that I can satisfy the medical exam at reference checks.. then saka sila humingi ng mga references..

    so i guess mga nasa 90-95% na yan.. pag okay ang result ng reference checks..
    pasok na sa "banga"...

    2 lang naibigay kong referees. oks lang kaya yun? wala na kasi akong maisip na referees na hindi ako ilalaglag sa ere. :D

    Sep 9, 2013 - Started work with the same company i worked for in UAE/USA
    Oct 28, 2013 - Moved to another company.. ;)
