    Yup totoo tough competition, kadalasan kalaban natin mga pana. Every final interview ko lagi akong nakakakita ng pana na applicant.

    Kailangan din pala dito naka suit at tie during interview buti na lang yung landlord kasukat ko at nakahiram ako hehe, satin kasi long sleeves formal na yun e.

    well, i just started exploring.. too bad nga na ngayon ko lang nakita tong forum.. most likely, di ako abot for july 2012 unless immediately me makuhang job offer..

    Glad to hear or your *fortunate* predicaments sohc! Just like the others, I am also in IT but seem to have been using less-marketable languages. I have been using TIBCO BusinessWorks (neverheard noh?) and rarely do I get to see OZ companies needing such. Hope we get to share some of your blessings.

    Tip ko lang sayo tutal generous ata offer sayo...i-negotiate mo na mag salary sacrifice ka...paabutin mo sa lower tax bracket ang salary mo.

    Kunwari 90k annual salary nasa 30+% tax yan...ipagawa mo sa employer mo na isalary sacrifice niya kunwari 30k...Mangyayari niyan...30k mo mapupunta sa superannuation tapos ang income tax mo bababa sa 20%+...malaking katipiran sayo yun :)

    @LokiJr Wala pa ko alam sa mga ganyan ah, ill check that. Ang nakita ko lang na isa pang benefits is the first $16,050.00 income is tax free. Salamat sa info.

    Hi everyone. Newbie here. @sohc, Ang sarap naman makarinig ng ganyang offer. GOD is good. Btw, anyone knows kung maraming bang job opportunity ang java/j2ee field? Parang ang hirap din kase maghanap ng work if your outside australia though 175 visa holder k na.

    Guys may nakausap ako pinoy dito, suggested na I apply for RSMS Visa since ok ang bigay ng company para permanent na agad. Although ok lang din naman ang 887 visa na 12 months work and 2 years living.

    @sohc ganun nga naririnig ko na mas prefer nga nila ng nasa oz, very tough pala competition ng programming. Hoping na makahanap parin while here in sg. @sohc baka pede rin na makasilip ng resume mo baka makakuwa ng tip na ma-improve resume :-) just in case pumayag k [email protected]. Salamat n marami.     @RClem first day today, spent half-day inside the conference room discussing all information about the company. Also tour inside the company, introducing to all people saying "How's it going mate" haha. Sa dami ng tao parang 4 na tao lang naremember ko na name. Their very welcoming, I was also introduced by the CEO to all people during coffee break. 3 lang kami asian sa company yung 2 is chineese. So far so good baka mag OT this saturday will implement a lot of stuff on the infra side.

    Mga peeps sensya na busy sa work. Mababait mga officemates ko lalo na yung mga matatanda. Tawag nila sakin "young ronald". Lagi ko naririnig "where's young ronald" hehe. Bukas first lunch out papa picture ako.

    Usually umuuwi na mga officemates ko ng 4:30pm. Akala ko kasi 5:00pm ang uwian sinabihan ako na "you can go home early, you don't need to stay until 5:00pm. As long as you render the 7.6 hours you can go".

    Medyo loaded sa work napapag isip isip ako ng kung anu the past 3 days pero nung pinakita na yung sample pay slip today natahimik na ko hehe :)

    @loki hindi natuloy ang lunch out puro sumama pakiramdam ng officemates ko. Problem ko tuloy kung saan ako bibili ng food nung lunch. Buti na lang may malapit na mini-mart nag sandwich na lang ako. Hindi ako nainom bro pero baka mapainom ng konte kapag naaya hehe.

    $220/week kasama na kuryente & water. 2 bedroom granny flat kami natira ng wife ko. Actually may tiningnan kami ng wife ko bago ako magstart sa work kaso sobrang lapit tatawid lang ako office na, ayoko ng ganun. Gusto ko pa din yung ngttravel, via public transport mga 40mins din byahe. Sa labas kasi ng city located yung office, malapit sa airport.

    Pero kung may car mga 20mins lang.
