Hi guys. Mukhang ito hindi pa napaguusapan dito. After transfer of funds to au bank, how much ititira mo para sa gastos sa pre-departure? Also, how much din dadalhin mo na aud para sa arrival mo? Baka kailangan mo magtaxi paglapag mo?

Yes, ok gumamit ng balikbayan box but it must not weigh more than 23 kgs, if your baggage allotment is 40kgs then you have to use another box or luggage. Binanggit po eto sa CFO seminar. Hope it helps. Thanks!

Aside from luggages, gagamit din kami ng balikbayan boxes. . Bumili din kami kami ng balikbayan box bag para mas presentable at madali buhatin.

Btw, with Malaysia Airlines 32 kgs ang maximum allowed weight ng single piece of baggage. I think the same applies with other airlines. Check nyo na lang po.

@dhey_almighty yung sa akin mga 15300 pero walang travel tax at terminal fee. 23 kilos lang din yun akin. Mukhang good deal din yung kay @staycool kasi 40 kilos pa yan. yung sa akin kasi ipa door to door ko nalang yung iba kaya okay lang na 23 kilos lang baggage allowance ko.

i checked with iom and they provided me a quote for two
exhange rate of 43.80
USD416 x 2 = USD 832 (PHP36.441.60)
Travel tax incl phil tax = PHP19, 878 (PHP 9,939 / person)

total of PHP36,441.60 + PHP19,878 = PHP56,319.60

Tama po ba ito? parang ang mahal. esp dun sa travel tax?

I would say don't mind that... It applies if you are flying our from Manila. From the text you have shared, it didn't state that Australia will made a big fuss when you land here. And definitely, SG immigration will not know about this requirement.

I want to know this as well HOWEVER parang moot and academic na if babalik ka sa pinas after 2 yrs of living as a migrant sa Australia...

CFO is supposed to be for NEW migrants; parang di applicable na sa balikbayan yan... ehehehe!! pero knowing the stupidity of the Philippine gov't, this is not far from impossible.

- magbabayad lang naman kayo..
- mag-aantay ng ilang oras sa seminar..
- makikinig sa seminar na malamang alam nyo na ang mga sinasabi kung kayo mismo naglalakad ng migration nyo, at malamang mas may alam pa kayo sa nagsasalita...
- haharangin ng Comelec sa labas ng room pagkatapos ng seminar para sa absentee voting chorva...
- tapos antay ulit para ibalik passport nyo na may CFO sticker na

simple lang naman diba, so bakit ayaw nyo magpatatak :P
