    Hello po good day.
Magtatanung din ako sana about sa study work abroad.

Kung kumuha ako ng IT Vocational Course & Training (Holmesglen Melbourne) for 1.5 years, kapag natapos ko ung course makakapag extend po ba ako sa Melbourne ng stay ko?

    Pahingi po sana ng advice.

    Salamat ng madami.

Hi @Gretch the bank statement is a proof that I got the salary from my employer. So I included a payslip and the bank statement showing that the amount on my payslip was deposited to my bank account.

@moonwitchbleu..As what I understood baby bonus is for PR, which means nung ipinanganak c baby PR ka na..

To be eligible for Baby Bonus you must satisfy residence requirements. You must be living in Australia[10] and:

    have Australian citizenship, or
    hold a permanent visa, or
hold a special category visa, or
hold a certain temporary visa type for example a partner provisional, interdependency or temporary protection visa
Your child must also meet the residence requirements or must be living with you.

You may be able to claim a payment during a temporary absence from Australia if you have been absent for less than three years.

You will also need to meet the residence requirements for Family Tax Benefit Part A and Part B within 26 weeks of your child’s birth or adoption.

I was able to get this after 4 months from initial entry. Regarding benefits changes ang pagkaka alam ko aalisin na nila baby bonus and they will increase the family tax benefit to encourage people to not totally rely on the govt.

Sa dad ko kasi dependent nya is 16 and 14 years old.

Ung tinutukoy mo@nfronda na 240/fornight child dupport assistance ba un? like for 1 child?

and 60/fortnight for rent assistance naman.. kaya total 340/fortnight total.

    Please advise.. Thanks

@rachelle_gan2..$240/fortnight total amount na lahat yan kasama na jan ang $60 na rental assistance and that is for two kids already..

@rachelle_gan2..$240/fortnight total amount na lahat yan kasama na jan ang $60 na rental assistance and that is for two kids already..

Has anyone here ever claimed a Rent Assistance without providing the Rent Certificate?

    Hi nfronda!
I was wondering bakit bumaba un nakukuha nyo centrelink? Kasi un samin ganun pa din. 2kids plus rent assistance $624 forthnight. My kids are 7 and 3 years old. Baka dahil sa ibang circumstances like income nyo tumaas? Or may age bracket un benefit? But not because of the new PM.

Maybe because sa age ng dlawang brother ko? they are 16 and 14 and the 16 one is working already..

As I know kasi dami ng binawas ng new PM sa mga centrelink benefits eh.. Isa na dun ang schoolkids bonus.

@nfronda: I was able to receive the Schoolkids bonus last june for my first child kasi cya pa lng naman nag-school. I logged in at my centrelink account today and so far no announcement pa about changes sa schoolkids bonus and nandun pa din naman cya sa menu. The School kids bonus is income tested din so if di na qualified sa FTB, wala ka ding school kids bonus.

Ang nasa Latest News Headlines for Families pa din dun sa centrelink account ko is "changes to baby bonus". I think if they are planning to abolish it (school kids bonus), they will do the same kind of announcement. Same with increase for the carbon tax benefit, they informed us via centrelink newsletter.

I think puro naman haka-haka pa lng yang sinasabing aalising benefits, so far ung baby bonus pa lng un binawasan.

@rachelle_gan2: yep husband ko lng work. fulltime mum ako dito. Cge PM kita.

@nylram_1981 hi! im a mom of two toddlers.. i did some research na rin about centrelink benefits.. ang magiging setup rin namin is I will stay at home, hubby will work.

Tanong ko lang po sna, nbsa ko na there are several options on how u want ur benefits to be paid. either fortnightly or one time at the end of financial year. naisip ko po kc, to avoid being overpaid (and consequently e sisingilin pa kami), at pra na rin maipon yung supposedly benefits, is it advisable/applicable na magregister sa centrelink at the earliest, pero mag claim na lang ng benefits at the end of financial year? will there be difference /advantage/disadvantage?

anybody po who can share insights? TIA!

Pahabol po na tanong, nabasa ko din somewhere na if u are claiming rent assistance, you do not have the option of lump sum payment?
