@rei_ya no worries.. hanap hanap lang yung unang accomodation namin is dito lang din sa pinoyau namin nakita.. mas mahal nga kung hotel/appt kasi per day ang bayad.. try nyo sa flatmates.com or gumtree mas makakamura kayo. may work na din ba kao pag dating nyo? CE din ako and sa SG din kami nanggaling last year.. Goodluck and Godbless!

Magandang hapon po. Tanong ko lang, papunta kasi akong Perth this Friday, and this is also be my first entry to AU. May mga kelangan pa ba akong gawin or dalhin other than my grant notice letter and passport? Meron bang mabibilhan ng sim card for iphone 5s sa airport? Is it advisable na dyan na rin ako magpapalit ng AU dollar or mas maganda kung dito na sa SG?

@clickbuddy2009 welcome to Perth. Not sure kung sa sg or sa perth airport mas maganda magpapalit ng sgd to aud. Pero if i remember it correctly, perth airport money changer ay mayroon commission fee.

@clickbuddy2009 - i think wlang mabibiling sim sa aiport.. i roaming mo muna fone mo kung kailangan mo tumawag...

normally sa mga phone serivce providers/shops talga nabibili ng sim..

@clickbuddy2009 welcome to perth. Nakabili ako Vodafone prepaid sim card sa airport $30. Tapos kung kukuha ka na ng line o kaya gusto mo lumipat ng provider, madali lang i-lipat yung number para same number pa rin gamit mo. Regarding sa money changer, check mo rates ng Mustafa. Dun ako dati nagpa palit kasi mas mataas nakuha kong rate. Good luck!

3rd day here in Perth. I'm currently staying here in Adelaide Terrace. Still adjusting sa weather and sa culture ng Western Australia. Malamig na dito at kahit tanghali parang naka-aircon lang habang nagbibilad sa araw. Haha.. Sarap mamili sa Harbour Town, andaming sale ngayon. Compared sa SG, mas madaming pagpipilian dito at mas ok ang quality. Parang same price nga lang eh, or mas mura kasi mga outlet stores ang nasa harbourtown. Katabi lang nito ang office namin so mukhang mageenjoy talaga ako.

Medyo malungkot nga lang dito unlike sa SG na super crowded naman in the city. King's Park pa lang napapasyalan ko. Went to Synergy Parkland and hindi dapat ito palalagpasin ng mga turista. Good thing libre lahat ng company namin ang stay ko dito at habang dito pa ako nakatira sa city, dapat lubos lubusin ko na. Haha..

Medyo scary nga lang at madaming homeless sa kalsada. Dami rin mga loko lalo na teens. Sa gabi di ako lumalabas ng apartment kasi dami akong naririnig sa labas na nagsisigawan.

Btw, sino nakasubok na dun sa pagkaing pinoy sa food court ng Carillion city? Dumaan ako kanina, mahal din mga ulam, dko sure kung kasama na rice. Kaya dun na lang ako sa TAKA bumili ng food. Sulit ang binayad ko, $5.80 ata for Teriyaki Beef and $6.50 naman for Karaage (small sliced deep fried chicken), not bad though.

may mas murang meal sa korean resto.. murray cor barrack st..
sa tabi ng convenience store (towards st mary's church)
less than 5aud lang ang rice toppings nila.. hehe..

na-try namin "Olio" resto.. sa carillion city mall.. food court ground floor..
10-12 aud per meal... medyo mahal compared sa Taka..
for a filipino resto.. dapat alam nila na marami dapat ang serving ng rice.. lololol..

Hello perthy pips! arrived last april 6 with family (husband+2kids). currently staying in a short term holiday apt. naghhnap kmi ngaun ng 2bed villa around Dianella/ Yokine / Tuart Hill / Malaga area. (husband to work at Malaga) may pending rental applications na, waiting for approval. ung naaplyan nmin is unfurnished. saan po mkakabili ng mura na apliances at furniture sa WA? i already checked ikea and fantastic furn. any sugestion? as in damit, bag at sapatos lang dala nmin upon arrival.
