Mukhang eto yung sagot sa tanong ko bakit hindi ako hinanapan ng SG CoC.

Meeting the character requirement for temporary and permanent migration
For the Australian Government to determine whether you are of good character, you may be asked to provide police certificates for each country you have lived in for 12 months or more over the last ten (10) years since turning 16.

If you are applying outside Australia, you do not have to provide this information when you apply. You will be advised when it is required.

If you are applying in Australia, you should provide this information with your application.

Instructions for providing character-related information are included in the health and character section of the Partner, Child, Parent and Other Family booklets which are available from this website

Subject to availability, you can obtain a printed copy from a migration office in Australia or overseas for a minimal cost.

As to whether or not ibibigay mo ang CoC mo; it is your call... My point is, at this point that is already moot and academic kasi tapos na case mo and you have your visa.

Celebrate the fact that you have your visa... Huwag ma bother by the fact that hindi hiningi ang CoC mo.

I emailed the CO and after 5 days nagreply sya na iemail ko daw ko sa kanya yung SG CoC ko in colored scan. Na email ko na sa kanya ngayon and case closed.

Thanks sa lahat ng mate na magaling magpayo dito.

Next step ko is to convert my PH driver's license to SG para tipid conversion sa AU.

yes BTT exam lang then kapag pasado, apply for conversion..
they will deliver the card 1 or 2 weeks daw..

nagreview ako mga 2 days before the exam, may reviewer nabibili sa popular..

you save not just money but your time and effort... it is not easy to get a license in australia coming in from a ph license. you need to undergo exams and actual drive test. and pwede ka bumagsak dito.

if I can can turn back time I would have gotten an sg license.

Found this in RMS NSW, u still have to go through provisional license if your SG license is less than 3 year

You will be issued a:

Less than 12 months NSW provisional P1 driver licence
More than 12 months but less than three years NSW provisional P2 driver licence
More than three years NSW unrestricted driver licence

if you had ur license before you relocated to SG then you need to take BTT exam only..online exam lng cya 50 items, pag pasado pwede mu na ipaconvert.

Q: How do we prove that you got your DL before moving to Sg? Every 2 years kase renewal natin diba. I checked my DL just now, parang walang nakalagay na since 2006 pa ako nagdadrive.

@rara_avis i advise mag pan convert na kayo to SG license.
kadarting lng namin dito sa canberra and we did direct conversion from SG to AU in less than 15 mins. I dont think may issue kung kelan lng na issue yung sg license, yung sa amin oct 2013 lng.

kailngan mo lng ipakita yung sg license, passport and additional id (au atm/debit/credit card, medicare slip ok na din) then pay lng ng 110aud

hndi ko lng sure if applicable din or same reqmnt lng din sa ibang state

pro it will dfntly save u a lot of $, time & effort

@IslanderndCity may nabasa akong blog ng using pinay sa oz na galing rin ng sg-advisable raw to take your driving license here in SG. I will do that as well. Although I failed the tests way back 8yrs ago dito! Sana naman maipasa ko na this time.

hindi convertible ang Ph license to AU license.. you still need to take theory/practical driving exam sa AU.

if you have SG license (or any other first world country license), that will be automatically converted to AU driving license.. just show it and they will give you the AU license in 15mins.. no theory/practical driving exam required..

Hi, I do not know about the cost of getting a new license in SG vs AU. Pero pag wala ka pa license from Pinas, di ka na maka convert when you get it now. This is because the rule is that you need to have a valid, non-expired license for 1 year or more before you were granted an EP/SPass/PR in Singapore.

But it is better to get a PH License-then get an International License from AAP right before going to AU. You can use it in AU for 1 year or before you apply for a learner's permit whichever comes earlier(this is because any International Licenses will lose it's validity after you apply for a learners/probational license). (This is Queensland law. I do not know about other states.)

You can use your OR from LTO if the date is more than a year before you were granted your EP/SPASS. If not, you will need to request for a certification of first issuance of license from LTO.
