@lock_code2004, I have an estimated 55 pts po. Once I update EOI expressing interest to apply for SA SS, I understand temporarily I'll be given 5 pts thereby making a total of 60 pts. So it means hindi pa po ako makasubmit ng EOI until may result na ang separate application ko sa SA SS?

pwede ka magsubmit ng EOI as long as you meet the passmark kahit pa 5 points of which is from State nomination. So kung ang total points mo is 60 (including 5 points for the State nomination), pwede kana magsubmit ng EOI.

Good day po sa inyong lahat. Been reading a lot of comments dito and im very thankful merong pinoyau talaga. Here are my possible points for Accountant occupation:
    1) 25 - my age (although I look younger..haha..joke)
    2) 10 - I must get all 7 sa IELTS dahil requirement ng mga assessing authorities for Accountant
    3) 15 - I have more than 8yrs of working experience in Singapore. Problem ko naman po, assessing body can only assess my experience if my qualification is suitable or bachelor degree. :( can i just use my company references as supporting doc?
    4) 10?? - I previously asked ICAA to assess my qualifications under standard assessment only(not migration assessment dahil di required ang IELTS). Ang result po, yung Bachelor Degree ko raw sa Pinas is only an Associate Degree in Australia. Tama po ba na I can get 10points for Associate Degree?

Or masmaganda at para sigurado, is mag-aral muna ako ng Masters for 2yrs (as Student Visa) then saka po ako mag-apply ng PR?

Sorry for my long kwento...appreciate your comments please. Arigato!

So you mean your target is visa 189?

    1) 25 - my age (although I look younger..haha..joke)

25 is your age? or your expected points based from your age?

    2) 10 - I must get all 7 sa IELTS dahil requirement ng mga assessing authorities for Accountant

    correct. you'll get 10 points.

    3) 15 - I have more than 8yrs of working experience in Singapore. Problem ko naman po, assessing body can only assess my experience if my qualification is suitable or bachelor degree. :( can i just use my company references as supporting doc?

What do you mean by "as supporting doc"?. Do you mean as Certificate of Employment?

When determining whether your skilled employment is closely related to your nominated occupation, the department will refer to the Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations.

Or masmaganda at para sigurado, is mag-aral muna ako ng Masters for 2yrs (as Student Visa) then saka po ako mag-apply ng PR?

It depends po sa target visa mo & current expected points mo. I believe you need to settle first your 4 questions above. then once you'll have your estimated total points, then start your focus sa EOI. God bless ganda.

Sorry for my long kwento...appreciate your comments please. Arigato!

@IslanderndCity thanks for your reply. Yes po, my target is visa 189. I'm so sorry talaga kung magulo ako magtanong. He he. Here's my reply din:

    1) I'm 36yrs old na po (again, I look younger..lol)
    3) yes po, COE. Kumpleto na ko nito but I guess I need to get a positive result muna on my education assessment. Tama po ba? Or I can apply now for Skilled Employment Assessment?

    Thanks again! :)

You need to get a positive skills assessment before you can proceed further with your dreams to get a 189...

I can speak for CPAA, when you apply for skills assessment, they will also let you know whether your education is comparable to bachelor's degree or otherwise.

If you can apply directly for a 189 (or 190), more better at least PR ka na immediately. Problem with student visa kasi is that it is very expensive and you will still need to apply for PR afterwards - by then, immigration law may change and accountants may no longer be included in the needed occupation in Australia.

Can CPAA assess my employment as skilled even if my education is just Associate Degree?

    Guys,

    Question.

Anu ba pinakaadvisable sa pagcreate ng EOI?
Ganito kasi ung nangyari saken. I created a EOI draft last Nov 2012 pa.
Then, 2 years validity nun dba. Instead of creating a new one, i just updated it first week of March with 60 pts. Until now wala pa din invite so iniisip ko dapat ba create nalang ako ng bago?

    Thoughts?

@cavalier18, yung 60 point pass mark, visa 189 or 190?
Kung visa 190, which means kailangan mo ng state nomination (and I see from your signature that you have applied for VIC SS nomination), you have to get your state nomination papers first. Once you get that, they (VIC) will update your EOI and then you will get your invite to apply.

When the last page of your EOI mentions that you've 60 pts., does it mean pwede ka apply 189? My understanding is it becomes 60 because I ticked visa 190 in the earlier page which then gives me 5 temporary points kaya nagiging 60 pts iyong nasa last page ng EOI ko.

@IslanderndCity , puwede, if your job is in SOL and you are invited to apply. Kahit na gano kataas points mo dun, kung di ka invited to apply, di gagalaw docs mo :) You need that magical invitation.

Sa pagkakaalam ko, makikita mo yung points for visa 189 and visa 190 kung nilagay mo cya sa options, at puwede ka sa visa na yun. BUT, doesn't necessarily mean that you will get invited to apply. Those points are your possible points but it is not necessarily the final one.

In my case, pasado ako sa points nun sa 189, but didn't get invited to apply kasi wala sa SOL work ko. I had to find a state to nominate sponsorship, before I can process visa 190.

    Hope this helps.

do you mean possible pa na ma-invite ako for 189 with my 60 pts only which I think part na ng 60 pts ko ang 5 pts dahil I ticked visa 190?

@IslanderndCity, um, I don't understand your question. Have you had your skills assessed? What anzsco code? When you create the SkillSelect account, you should be able to see your points for visa 189, separately from visa 190. It should show in a table.

yes po may positive skills assessment na for Industrial Engineer.
