@vhoythoy sigh, failed na agad ako sa simple reading skills ko..I didnt even notice that your visa was granted already! Sorry mah... :) Anyways, another question po ulit about your work experiences- Internal Auditor ka na ba simula pa noon? :)
Nope. Started in accounting then external audit.
I see..hmm, made me think again. Wondering if you know someone who chose finance manager as the nominated occupation?

Question again, you mean nareceived nila docs mo around Nov 19 then Dec 9 may assessment results na sila? So around 3 weeks lang din. Yan ba ung 350 AUD payments? Then in the assessment, will they tell you ano mga exemptions mo and how to proceed to get the certification?

@yeshua77 - only option I can think of is to request a remarking but since it is a full point off 7; parang mahirap ata... But you can always give it a try.

Im actually not confident of remarking. Its either retake or look for other visa option. Btw, can i request for a sample of your wife's Theory of Accounts mapping. I want to prepare it and have it notarized here in SG EMBASSY while my wife is on vcation.
    Thanks.

Or kung sino man po ang may sample ng T/A mapping para po ma prepare ko na ung sa akin. im planning to have my assessment with CPAA and i attach ko nalang din siya once i sumbit my requirements para di na ma delay ang application ko.

    thanks everyone!

Mate; that is the outline of Accounting Theory as per CPAA - the same was used by my wife back in 2012 to map with her core subjects back in college...

tanong lang po. economic subjects are also included during assessment, right? what if the syllabus given doesn't bear any signature from the dept chair/registrar? since photocopy lng siya from the department syllabus. ok lang ba na ipa-notarize sa lawyer? or will the lawyer require na may signature talaga? salamat...

@cartmandemarco diba separate subjects yan?pero check your syllabus. When I was still in college we have a different subject for accounting systems and processes and principles of acounting na 6 units :)

Medyo matagal na since I graduated so baka may changes :)

@TasBurrfoot bro just wanna say I've been positively assessed by CPAA last Friday after appealing to them that I've completed Accounting Theory. As you have previously advised, I made a mapping of my subjects to prove that I've completed the subject. Also, to make my claim convincing, I attached the Table of Contents of the book we used in college just so they see a detailed discussion of the topics. I also referred to that book in my mapping. Thank you very much for helping out. I really appreciate it. If you see my timeline below, I had some wrong decisions of changing my ANZSCO code to External Auditor even with the knowledge that I may get negatively assessed on the External Auditorskilled employment. I didnt know about appealing and subject mapping then, good thing I was able to come across you here and asked. Hopefully I'll get the invite na in the next round. Basta thank you thank you! :)

To some of you who may need help re: Accounting Theory and CPAA, you may want to scroll a few convos and pages back. If not, you can ask me here. I suggest you read and read some more before actually submitting your documents. As you can see sa timeline ko, I've pretty much spent a long time just getting a positive assessment from CPAA. But don't wanna say it's a waste, I learned a lot. Basta message lang kayo and I'll be really glad to help.

hi @yeshua77. I'm pretty sure na explain na rin ni Sir Tas, but the mapping should actually include all your subjects. In one side, your college subjects, on the other the CPAA core subjects. So yung mangyayari is many-to-one.

    Hi everyone!

So I’m preparing to prepare to lodge my VISA once I get invited and have some questions that may have been already answered in the past.

    1. What documents do I have to prepare as early as now? I’m planning to get my NBI/PCC already by next week. Can I upload that already when I lodge my VISA?
    2. What uploading tool do I use in the application/visa lodging – I read somewhere about ImmiAccount. How different is that from the Skillselect account used in submitting EOI? Should I transfer to that upon receipt of the invitation?
    3. In terms of VISA payment, do you have options of splitting costs? Like 2 credit cards to use or a combination of bank draft and credit card – is that even feasible?
    4. When do you suggest I get my medical tests? I’m positive I’m gonna be able to process my VISA within the next 12 months so was wondering if taking the medical test in advance prior to the CO advice will speed up the grant.

Any help you would extend is greatly appreciated.

    Cheers!

You can only access/ upload your IMMI account pag bayad kana ng visa processing fees. Scan all your CTC documents for uploading to IMMI account. Form 80 pwede mo na ma fill up. I-Google mo lang may template yan.

    2. What uploading tool do I use in the application/visa lodging – I read somewhere about ImmiAccount. How different is that from the Skillselect account used in submitting EOI? Should I transfer to that upon receipt of the invitation?

Yes Immi Account. Yan na mismo ung platform for visa applications and uploading of your documents. Makakaaccess jan ung CO. Ung EOI, its just a platform for visa invitations/ selections and ranking of points.

You can have access through it once magkaroon ka ng invitation. May link na ibibigay via email. Connected yan sa EOI kasi ung ibang informations dun, matransfer automatically sa IMMI account. Click mo lang ung link from visa invitation email, nalito din kasi ako jan nung una.

    3. In terms of VISA payment, do you have options of splitting costs? Like 2 credit cards to use or a combination of bank draft and credit card – is that even feasible?

Mukhang mahirap yan. Just use either bank draft or credit card. Just inform your card company.

    4. When do you suggest I get my medical tests? I’m positive I’m gonna be able to process my VISA within the next 12 months so was wondering if taking the medical test in advance prior to the CO advice will speed up the grant.

After mo na maglodge ng visa.

Any help you would extend is greatly appreciated.

    Cheers!
