FYI in case you're planning for ACT...

Effective Tuesday 25 March 2014, applications for ACT nomination from overseas residents will not be accepted. If you are living overseas, you will not be able to apply for ACT nomination of a Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa until the program reopens on 1 July 2014.

@quelly, as long as na file mo na, they will still process it. Malapit mo na makuha yan. In my case, nag file ako ng january, by feb tinanggal na nila yung skill ko sa listahan, pero ni process pa din nila. Intay intay lang, malapit na yan.

sa application ng State Sponsorship, may fill-up ka na section on how are you going to support you and your family pagdating mo dito, while still looking for job..
at normally meron silang amount na kaialngan mong isatisfy...

but from most of the applicants i know, hindi naman talga hiningian ng proof of financial documents.. they just filled-up that section..

now, im not saying na hindi talga naghihingi ng proof.. possible pa rin maghingi..
pero un mga most ay hindi hiningian..

yung isang kakilala ko, nagfill-up ng form, according dun sa minimum amount requirement. kinakabahan sya kasi wala naman talga syang ganung pera..
ayun na-approve naman.. kahit walang financial documents..

@lock_code2004 @mikeloieuy kami po, nagprovide kami ng financial evidence. Required po yun sa SS ng Queensland.. Parang sila lang yung State na required magpakita ng financial docs.

Ganito kasi plan namin ni Misis...
Right now I am gathering some of the requirements like COE, TOR, Diploma, etc...

and then mag take kami IELTS around Ber-Months

after that the usual na... ACS accreditation and then EOI

Question po dba may 2 year commitment to stay sa state pg nka ss. I have a 2year old son kasi and isasama ko siya sa application pero since wlang magbantay sa kanya he can't stay muna sa australia since baby pa siya pano po un pwede bang ako lang muna mg fulfill ng 2yrs or dapat kasama tlga siya?

@mikeloieuy, my suggestion is not to wait to take the test or preparing your documents. prepare the acs accreditation now. If you wait for the ber months, usually, paubos na ang visa slots, then you'd have to wait for the next year ulit.

Kung SC 190, Indi po sia visa condition so meaning, the state govt cannot force u to stay and live in that specific state. So sa case ng anak nio, kelangan pa din nia mag initial entry kung need umuwi ng pinas pwde nman. just be mindful po na sa renewal ng visa e kelangan 2 years in the past 5 years ka nagstay sa Au (any part).

@netzkeenet We are planning to apply in SA since we have friends there. I would research on VIC. thanks sa info. so far kasi im researching how does 'Software Tester' differ from 'ICT Software Test Engineer' when it looks like they are the same based on the Job Description.

@Umbenieyon- thanks... i heard meron nga sa ibang states.. you are the first one to confirm that it is required for Queensland..

@mikeloieuy - i mentioned.. kailangan nga un sa pag apply ng state sponsorship..
pag nag fill-up kana ng state sponsorship application, they will normally ask that..

in your case, medyo malayo ka pa dun.. normally ito ang process..

1. if your are IT.. you can apply assessment even without ielts
2. ielts
3. EOI.. and simultaneously apply for SS
4. once SS is approved, then next is visa application..

Requirement ung 2 yrs regardless anomg age para makarenew ng pr pero since baby pa sia lets say d sia makapag stay ng 2 yrs sa aussie and ikaw mameet mo ung requirement, pwde mo sponsor baby mo and apply for child visa later on.

Hindi po talaga mandatory na magstay ka sa sponsoring state mo? For instance visa 190 sponsored by SA, pwede doon ka sa NSW instead?

Guys, exactly 3 months na ako naghihintay ng grant. Nsw 190 ako onshore, nurse. Wala parin hanggang ngayon. Feb 3 ako naglodge

Although I'm not sure if it means the first 2 years upon entry or any 2 consecutive years within the 5yr PR. Kase kaya nga yun ibang state mahigpit in terms of your willingness to commit 2 yrs, kaya sila nagssponsor

Pero wala naman ako nabasa na bawal. Siguro the question to ask is, how it will affect your PR status in the future? Perhaps anyone here na matagal na nasa Au can share their actual experience.

Guys, question.

If nagpa access ako sa ACS ng ICT SOFTWARE TESTER sure ba ito since makikita naman na software tester ako ever since. Or better software tester na lang para sure? Reason kasi.... Asa SA and VIC ang ICT SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER and i wanna makr i get this.

im not 100% sure about this.. pero hindi yata tama ang statements above.

as far as i know, pag ang bata is below 18yrs, kung ano ang status ng parents ganun na rin ang visa status ng anak.. therefore kung nasatisfy mo na ang residency requirements after 4 yrs, at naging citizen kana, ... automatic na same status na rin ang anak (below 18yrs old)...kahit wala pa dito ang anak mo..

please validate the information..

isama mo na sa application ang baby mo.. mas mahirap i prove kung bakit hindi mo sya dapat isama ngaun.. at mas mahirap ang separate application..

Sorry mejo nalito ako. Tama po si @lock_code2004 - family members of an RRV holder who are or have been permanent residents may be granted RRVs on the basis that their family head holds an RRV.

@netzkeenet - yup after the visa grant, just satisfy the initial entry condition..
then pwede na bumalik sa pinas..

pag settled kana, pwede mo na kunin ulit, pasok sa day care.. or isama mo nanay mo dito as tourist visa para mag-alaga.. hehe..
