pasingit po... ask ko lang po kung ano ano ang mga requirements na dapat ipakita sa centerlink para iparehistro yung 2 kung anak...isa po e 4 yo ung isa e 1yo... next month kc pupunta n cla dito... saka after ng centerlink/medicare and tfn kelangan pa bank iupdate ung bank or automatic na po? thanks

hi guys. we just arrived last Sunday, kahapon, we finished TFN, ANZ Bank Account, Medicare at Centrelink. Yung medicare, binigyan lang muna kami temporary number kasi to be delivered na lang daw yung cards. yung centrelink, binigyan lang kami ng CRN number at temporary password tas logon na lang daw sa bahay at online na daw ako magfile ng claims. ang problema, when I check my profile online sa website ng centrelink, single ang status ko at di nagrereflect yung dependents e sinubmit naman namin lahat ng docs ko.. bakit kaya? will it take sometime para maupdate to considering yesterday lang naman kami nagregister? at di ko Makita san ako magfa-file ng claim like childcare at family tax benefit. bad trip.

Hello, diba yung family tax benefit including na yung rent assistance. Me and my family will be staying with my relatives, so hindi kami magbabayad ng rent, eligible pa ba kami sa rent assistance? how are they going to determine if you are paying a rent?

@rooroo pag nagfile ka kase ng claim sa centrelink or pag nagregister ka pa lang ata meron portion sa questionnaire tungkol sa home niyo (eg rent,owned,etc.) So malalaman nila yung situation niyo

You need a rental agreement... kailangan submit together with your application... if you want to claim for rental assistance

Kapag ang naginitial entry muna ay parents at eldest child, at nagregister sa Centrelink and Medicare:
1) Ma-qquestion ba kung bakit hindi lahat kasama (e.g. 3 kids in the family)?
2) I-aallow pa din kaya makapagregister kahit hindi pa complete yung family members?
3) Pwede kayang iregister later yung 2 kids kapag nasa Au na sila?

Hi All,

An anybody point me to information pertaining to all necessary documents needed to apply for:

1. TFN
2. Medicare
3. Centerlink

And if all 3 are needed upon initial entry? Or which one's can I opt to delay (meaning a few months after initial entry). To give a background, we are planning to do an initial entry for 3 days then back to Singapore. Plan to migrate fully next year by February.

@btarroja213 if initial entry lang po ang gagawin nyo, there's no immediate need to register for TFN, Medicare at Centrelink. Pwede nyo pong gawin pagbalik nyo sa February next year.

For TFN, online po ang application. Punta lang po sa website na 'to, https://iar.ato.gov.au/IARWeb/default.aspx?pid=4&sid=1&outcome=1.

Sa Medicare po, pumunta lang kami sa nearest Medicare office at nagsubmit ng form na 'to, humanservices.gov.au/spw/customer/forms/resources/3101-1306en.pdf. Dalhin nyo lang ang passport at valid visa or visa grant letter.

Sa Centrelink naman po, kailangan nyo lang pumunta sa office nila at sabihing magre-register kayo. Passport at visa lang din po ang ipinakita namin.

Another question:

For instance hindi pa nakapag register sa Medicare before nabuntis? Hindi po ba i-co-cover ng Medicare and pangaganak?

@btarroja213 Yung friend ko po na nasa Oz na, preggy sya ng dumating sa Oz. After nya magparegister sa medicare, nagamit na nya agad ang benefits ng medicare. Meaning after registration, pwede na magamit ang medicare. I confirm ko lang po sa kanya kun may hinintay pa ba syang card before nya nagamit...

@btarroja213 Na confirm ko sa friend ko, after registration sa Medicare, may ibigay na receipt. Yun receipt lang ipakita sa hospital for the availment habang wait pa ang card.

thanks po StickyNote. nahanap ko din 'to. so kahit 1 month ka nagjob-hunting sa Au then hindi ma-hire, babalik sa SG muna, then balik nalang sa Au after few months for 'good' na, ok lang na sa next Au entry na asikasohin ang Medicare at Centrelink?

Rental assistance ba na yan is applicable na upon settling to AU after visa grant, provided mapakita lang yun rental agreement? if you have any idea, mga ilan percent lang ang pde iclaim? thanks!

Nagregister po ako ng account sa Centrelink through their website lang, binigyan na po ang ng CRN number. Ok na po ba ito? Yun na ba yun and wala na dapat gawin pa?

Sa Medicare naman, pwede na ba yung migrant bank account lang sa NAB kahit na hindi pa sya activated? And ok lang ba na joint account saming mag-asawa yung NAB?

Catajell, need mo maglodge ng claim online ng family tax etc if applicable sayo.

Yup pede un sa NAB, ok din kahit joint. Gnun gnmit namin. Yun din binigay ko sa company ko pra dun icredit salary ko.

if sakali i will go there ahead, makakapagclaim ba ko family tax benefit kahit wala pa si misis and baby (although nakapag initial entry na kami lahat)?

@manofsteel, yup sabay sabay kami pumunta dito. Ang alam ko nachecheck nila sa passport once pumasok ka na sa australia o lumabas. Alam ko andito dapat lahat para makapagclaim.

Binigyan din kami ng concession card para discount sa transpo at gamot at sa mga attractions dto like zoo, etc.

if sakali i will go there ahead, makakapagclaim ba ko family tax benefit kahit wala pa si misis and baby (although nakapag initial entry na kami lahat)?

Makapag claim ka lang ng family tax benefit kung andito na yung anak mo.

If ever lumbas din ng Australia yung anak mo ... may maximum number of days/weeks lang na allowed na outisde Austrlaia else, ititgil nila once na ma reach mo yung number of days na nasa lbas ng Austrlaia at itutuloy lang nila once na bumalik yung anak mo sa Australia.

If mali ka ng file or hindi totoo yung claim mo, ma claim mo parin naman yung benefit ... kaso sa TAX filing pwedeng malaman na wala pala sa Austrlaia anak mo at sisingilin ka ng ATO sa mga ibinayad sayo PLUS interest.

Two ways to claim, fortnightly or yearly/ump sum during (tax filing).
- May chance na ma over bayad sila pag fortnightly ang assitance kasi estimate lang ng income mo ang binibigay mo. Kung sinabi mo na wala ka work or maliit lang income mo like 20k lang. Assess nil magkano ang makuha mo depende sa family income ang ibibigay example na $250 fortnightly. Tapos middle of the year biglang lumaki sweldo mo or nagka work misis mo.... nakalimutan mo sabihin sa CEntrelink na lumaki na pala family income mo at tuloy pa rin sila nag bibigya ng $20 fortnightly....

Pag dating ng tax filing, na assess nila na bigla palang 150k ang combined family income nyo for the year... sisingil ka nila sa sobrang binayad sa inyo at pwedeng may interest.

Minsan suggest nila na kung hindi ka sure at ayaw mo biglang mag balik ngbayad ... file mo naang sa end of financial year (After June 30/tax filing) para ma assess nila ng tama yung income at maibigay sao ng tama in LUMP sum for the entire year yung assistance.

Lumabas result ng family tax ko 35 working days after ko nagfile ng family tax benefits. Nretro lahat nun makukuha ng family ko simula dumating kami. Tapos nagapply dn kami ng concession before tapos nareject kasi need daw 2 years residency. Tapos nagulat nalng kmi nun naapprove na un family tax, nagpadala sila concession. Oo nga e nagwowork na ako nun nareceive nmin un result. D ko pa nga inuupdate centrelink. Soo. Siguro kasi wala pa dn work wife ko. Inaantay ko magkawork sya. Pero dpat iupdate agad pag may nagchange sa circumstances mo. Anyway ibabalik ko naman next year un pag may sobra nabgay.
