Yup 2 kaming nagwwork and yup same kami na IT. Hindi pa pala kasama sa expenses namin ung childcare ng anak ko.hehehe around 1K per month un, with centrelink subsidy na.. Hindi rin kasama ang private health insurance, kukuha pa lang din ako..

@IslanderndCity it's 75AUD for 2 hours. Sobrang mura na yan. hehehe May nagrefer na magaling na driving instructor. Mas mahal kase pag sa mga driving schools.

@TasBurrFoot nasa Sydney kami.. Hindi pa kasama jan ang childcare ng anak ko. Ang gastos noh? :-S

Hi @Stolich18 may I request for a breakdown of the $3,800 to 4,000 na gastos mo? We are planning kasi to stay in Sydney, Para may idea naman ako kung how much ang budget namin.. We are a family of four. 2 children ages 8 and 4.

@stolich18 family of 3 din kami, baby is still 7 mos. old. Hubby is already working there. Will flight to sydney this april 22. Plan namin sana eh hindi muna ako mag work til mag 1 y.o. si baby or one of our parents will be given a tourist visa. Parang hindi kami makakasave pag ganyan ang budget ah. Salary ko lang yata sa sg ang ma ki-keep namin since I am hired as a part-time of my current employer (20 hrs. a week). pwde din ba manghingi ng breakdown?

2 bedroom Apartment: 330/wk = 1320/month
Internet Dodo Unlimited: = 60/month
Electricity: 88.55/quarter = 29.51/month
Gas: 148.25/quarter = 49.41/month
Water: Free (part of the rent)
Food: = 400/month

Total 1858.92/month or 619/person/month

Personal
Car = 390/month
Car insurance = 70/month
Gas = 280/month ( I drive 40 kms one way home to office + weekend out of town )
Health Insurance = 75/month
Toiletries = 50/month
Mobile Plan Virgin = 69/month

Total = 934/month

So my TOTAL Monthly budget = 619+934= 1553aud..

Master, san banda kayo nakakuha ng 2br apartment for 330 a week? Outside city area na ba yan? Laki ng naitatabi mo nyan sa ganung monthly expenses. Kami cguro medyo malaki laki naman ang monthly expenses dahil may mga binabayaran pa kaming properties sa pinas. Sana pagdating ng wife ko dito makahanap kaagad sya ng work.

Here`s our budget: (forthnightly ang sahod):
House rent: 285 per week
Car: 103 per week
Car insurance: 15 per week
School: 80 per week (2kids)
Gasoline: 30 per week
Medibank insurance: 65 per week
Internet and home phone: 20 per week
Food: 200 per week +
Mobile phones: 20 per week (2mobiles)
Baon school and office: pack lunch
Electricity: di pa alam ang consumption currently allocating 50 forthnight, quarterly daw.
Superannuation at 12%
Savings: hardly nag uumpisa pa lang.

File family assistance di pa alam kung maapprove.
Others pala:
Our place usually taxi ang transport, bus malaki ang time gap and depende sa location mo, bike will be a big help.
Ang laki ng expesnses namin at first nung wala pang car.
If learning how to drive: 60 -65 per session maximize utilisihg ur international license to get familiarise sa road and rules..then convert ur license to oz license.
U have to invest buying appliances either brand new or from garage sale..
Food u need to stock mahirap pala pagbumabagyo dito na cucut ang roads ng supply.

May nakalimutan pa ba ako. :-)

Kami naman eh almost 8 years na dito kaya madami ng utang. Eto weekly expenses/outlay namin para me idea kayo pag me mortgage na (me mga property investments kami kaya 3 mortgage):

Mortgage payment for home: 650
Mortgage payment - rental apartment: 400
Mortgage payment - commercial unit for rent: 675
Groceries: 200
Petrol, car insurance, transpo: 200
Tuition for 1 child in private school: around 50
Utilities: around 150
Beer: 60
Building insurance: 30
Miscellaneous: 100

@stolich18 pashare din ng breakdown. Kinocompare ko kasi ung expenses namin dito SG and how much if sa Sydney kami magstay. Ang worry ko kasi e if mas mababa ung sahod namin sa Oz.. tas mas mataas ang expenses... baka breakeven n lang kami nyan.
