@wizardofOz Wala po kaming sinubmit na Reference letter, COE, JD lang po sinubmit namin. Plus yun payslips, ITR.

@johnvangie yun pong sinubmit nyo na ITR and Payslip sa EA, kasama na ba agad sa application nyo nung nag-apply kayo? Or hiningi na lang sya ng EA later-on during nung review nila...?

i read in a different forum that you need to have your work experience assessed by EA if you are to claim points for it. Is that true? i already submitted my CDR to EA last week.
yes. its true, if you will not avail the assessment for work experience, DIAC's CO will have no clue on which/how many years of work experience is relevant to your nominated occupation. It's either
- they will ask you to avail for the assessment of work experience from EA again
- or, they will decide based on their own knowledge (so far i have not seen this specially after July 2012, when they implemented the change on the work exp assessment for all assessing authority)

No.3-b: Additional Assessment Services (Check appropriate box and fee payment on relevant application form)

•if you want to claim overseas PhD engineering degree, or
•for those who have at least 1 year Australian work experience, and / or at least 3 years Overseas work experience in their nominated occupation or a closely-related occupation, then an additional assessing service is available to provide an opinion on the skilled employment claims. High-level evidence will be required to support any claim of work experience as well as completion of this form. (200aud)

Sir, may additional points ba if i go for additional assessment service? or same lang ang points na pede iclaim with standard service?

@danz1213 - pag nagpaadditional assessment ka, you can verify from the result if you can claim points for your work experience... or if you have PhD...

this is suggested if you have varying work exp/job titles...

5years telco engineer (1st company and still employed) - 10pts
BSECE - 15pts
27yrs old - 30pts

Tama ba na yan ang pede io iclaim na points? Re: sa additional service assessment, saan sa 3 item nayun magmamatter yung changes (if tataas ang points) kapag magavail aq ng additional service?

Or in my case can you suggest na iavail ko or it wont matter na?

Nga pala sir lock, been following every thread and i notice na uve been very supportive and helpful sa bawat nagtatanong,

@lock_code2004 sir, nalito lang ako ng konti sa sinabi m na min of 3 yrs to get 5 points, san po mag aadd yun assuming 5years napo aqng working sa relevant nominated occupation q? im assuming i can claim 10points bec of the 5yrs exp, do u mean magiging 15points pa sya if mgpaadditional service assessment ako? Usually ilang taon na work experience po sa Pilipinas para maging safe sa assessment?
depende po yan sa occupation at assessing agency..
for engineers australia, atleast 1 year, but you have to demontrate your skills sa CDR
also, minimum of 3 yrs to get 5pts for EOI..

indi po madadagdagan ung points mo for work experience. pag nag additional assessment ka, this is just an assurance from IEA na tama ang points na maclaim mo sa work experience. so pag nagpass ka ng EOI, confirmed agad ung points na claim mo for work experience or PhD for example which is (20 points).

@Xiaomau82 i see now malinaw na sakin. Mas ok rin pala para by the time na nasa EOI stage na, wala nako dilema kung maaaward ba yung 10points na niclaim q for my work experience if ever. So yea ill go for standard plus additional narin. Ika nga ni sir Lock code, give this our best shot anything na makakapagpataas ng chance do it instead na sumugal sa mas malaking risk.

kakakuha ko lng ng COE ko, natuwa aq kasi kahit employed pako napakagenerous ng HR/company to issue a detailed COE based on complete requirements ng EA. pero ako gmawa ng JD, isinama lang nila sa content ng COE ko. They sent me a copy of my contract too upon my request.. Now im starting to draft my career episodes.. Goodluck sting lahat.

Baka po meron mga telecom engr dto na pde magshare ng career episode draft at summary of statement. Ito po and eadd ko:

Hi po sa lahat. I am planning to apply for MSA with EA and add'l service for claiming of exp. I aiming to get 5 years exp points, kaso my actual 5 years of experience will only come on august 2014. Right now I have 4years and 10 months relevant experience, but on august exactly 5 years na experience ko.

If I submit my CDR and the experience assessment this june 2014, will they consider my experience as 5 years since after 19 weeks pa naman yung result, by that time my experience would be more than five years already. or will they only consider the experience on the date they receive my application even though matagal yung time assessment time.

so based lang sa pagkakaintindi ko, i-aassess ka nila based on dun sa naka-indicate na duration sa application form and sa supporting COE docs mo..... wala kasi way na malaman ng EA kung naging continuous ba yung employment mo (until naka-5 years ka) or nag-resign ka ba right after mo i-submit yung application mo

@j0hn tama si wizard bro, gnyan rin ang kaso ko months ago, hesitant ako mgpasa ng cdr kasi 4yrs 9mos plang ako pero last may exactly 5 yrs nako sa company. I suggest simulan mo na ipunin ang mga requirements m and start with your career episodes. para by the time na 5yrs kana ready to submit ka na. Ayway it will take you 1-2mos rin sa pagaayos ng lht ng EA requirements especially kung wala kpa nasisimulan sa ngayon.

May maganda nga wait ka na muna ng August pag 5 years ka na. And tutal, sa July 1 mag change ang SOL and ibang rules possible mag change. Kaya better wait muna until then.

@wizardofOz Kasama na po... Kasi supporting docs sya sa sinubmit na COE. Wala ng hininging iba pang docs ang EA nun nag submit kami, bale email reply na lang na positive assesment nun nag follow up ang agent namin.

Ah ok salamat po sa info,just in case hingin ng EA buti naitabi ko pa yung last payslips ko sa previous company

Hi, I just want to ask regarding job description if made personally kasi hindi nagbibigay ang employer ko and at the same time if ever hindi ko din mapapapirmahan sa boss ko pwede bang kaworkmate na lang / kalevel ko din sa work same position lang kami , pwede ba yun?

"Assessment outcome letters are sent by ordinary post. If you wish to use a courier you must organise that yourself."

May nag-try na ba dito na pinapick-up sa courier yung assessment letter nila from EA?
