    @ausie_dream2010 for my case, I lodged a review of my skills assessment as some of my experiences have not been assessed as suitable reason being is that I did not submit a properly signed Statutory Declaration. I resubmitted the new Statutory Declaration now with the signature of my former team lead and ACS finally assessed it as comparable to my nominated skills. So from 7 years it is now 8+ years which is 15 points.

    So para kampante ka na ma-maximize mo yung points mo sa experience, mag-appeal ka na lang if you are willing to spend another 400 AUD for skills assessment. Just my two cents.

    How soon po kailangan magpagawa ng CoE? Hindi pa naman ako magllodge kasi kaagad...a few months from now siguro...nag-aalala kasi ako baka may validity rin yung CoE

    Wala po validity un CoE. Ang reason lang na kailangan mo maghintay bago kumuha ng CoE is because they will assess the employment duration based on the date hired upto COE date issued. So if for example today total # of years employed ka is 4 years and 11 months, better maghintay ka pa ng 1 more month bago kumuha ng COE para maging 5 years ang employment duration mo. Kasi meron effect un sa ACS and DIAC application mo.

    Hello po, just signed up on this site and i saw this thread. I have a question lang, i took the points test kasi sa immi.gov.au site and luckily i reached the 65 passing mark, however, yung occupation ko is not in the new SOL list- all other requirements okay na ako like age, IELTS, etc- you think me and my family have a chance. before July 2011 kasi nandun pa sa SOL yung occupation namin ni hubby, then naabutan na kami ng change. Hope someone could help me to understand. Thanks in advance

    @baronannyour occupation should be in the SOL -- it is must, but another way na pwede mo gawin is. like in my case job title ko is "web developer", pero inalis cya sa SOL. since nature ng ginagawa ko since nagwork ako is application development (sa web). pwede ko i nominate and highlight ang "analyst programmer". ganun ginawa ng iba ko ng friends who are now in OZ. anu ba yung nature ng work mo may mahahanp ka bang equivalent sa ibang nasa SOL?

    @Bryann, thanks sa reply...then ibig sabihin nun puwede na ako magrequest ng CoE pala kung wala naman siyang validity hehe

    @baronann, nagtake na po ba kayo ng IELTS? Dun po sa occupation niyo, kung wala siya sa SOL, check niyo rin po ang occupation list per state kasi posibleng in demand yung trabaho niyo sa isa o dalawa lang na state sa Australia...if that's the case, then ang habol po ninyo ay state sponsorship imbes na skilled migration visa

    @zoe_girl, kung gipit po kayo sa points sa 175, then puwede pa kayo maghanap ng state sponsorship...dagdag points din kasi siya...mas madali di hamak ang wala sponsorship kasi dagdag na screening yan at may hinahabol tayong lahat na July 2012 deadline :-s

    Hi @zoe_girl! Saang stage ka na ba ng application process? Tapos ka na ba skills assessment? IELTS? Baka meron ka pa time to apply for state sponsorship and maka-abot ka pa before July 1, 2012 changes. Mabilis naman ngayon ang processing time ng mga states.

    Tama naman si Loki na mas madali, in terms of submitting requirements, ang walang sponsor. Pero ang advantage naman kapag may sponsor mas madali ang approval ng visa. Usually, within 1-2 months compared sa walang sponsor na 6-12 months na processing. Pero if di ka naman nagmamadali, then you can opt na walang sponsor.

    Nominated Occupation: Software Engineer (261313) - Husband is the primary applicant.

    10.21.2012 - Arrived in Melbourne. This is the day that the Lord has made. :)

    Thanks for replying Lokijr and Jclem.
    Actually wala pa ako nagagawa. im still on reading mode and gathering data. Nabasa ko nga na by July, bago na ang system so as much as possible im trying to find the best (fastest) way na di ako umabot sa bagong system. Plan ko po magpa skill assessment muna by Feb sa ACS for systems analyst. then maybe, while waiting for the result.. mag rereview and then will take IELTS exam.

    If by April, hopefully makakuha ng positive result sa ACS... ano po kayang magandang gawin? Mag aapply for regional sponsorship o magapply agad ng visa 175?

    PS: Mas maganda bang magreview for IELTS o ok na yung mag self review?

    kung seseryosohin mo ang Australia, aabot ka sa pag-lodge ng visa before July 2012.

    Ang pinakamatagal lang naman dyan ay ACS skills assessment. Habang in-process pa ang assessment mo, magreview and take ka ng ielts. For state sponsorship, it takes 4-6 weeks lang.

    Apply for a sponsorship. Then give yourself a deadline, pag wala kang nakuhang sponsor say by June 15, 2012 then go and apply for 175. The drawback is mas matagal processing ng 175.

    Re IELTS, kaya yan ng self-review. Madaming materials na pwede i-download then allot siguro 2-3 hours per day to practice. :)

    Yun CV is secondary lang. Ang main document na titignan ni ACS regarding your employment is yun detailed COE mo and employer reference both with signature ng authorized person or someone with a higher position than you. Since yun kasi meron corroborative proof from 3rd party na nagpapatunay sa mga nakasulat unlike sa CV, na we can just write anything diba. And sabi din naman yun CV is (optional). Madami dito na nakakuha positive assessment from ACS without submitting a CV.

Mid-February pa sya mare-release at di ko pa sure if madagdagan nga ako ng 1 pt. sa Writing...waahhh. Eto na yata talaga ang pinaka ultimate sign na hindi para sa ken ang Australian dream. Waaahhh :-((

    Kaso nga po kelangan i-submit IETLS result for skill assessment, hinihintay ko pa remarking result ko. Mid-February pa sya mare-release at di ko pa sure if madagdagan nga ako ng 1 pt. sa Writing...waahhh. Eto na yata talaga ang pinaka ultimate sign na hindi para sa ken ang Australian dream. Waaahhh :-((
