Hi guys, magtatanong and verify lang regarding sa process & steps if SC 189 ung plan mong applyan.
EOI lang ba ung kelangan for the SC 189?

Or do you need to do something (fill up other forms on other website) after mong gumawa ng EOI for SC 189?

    Thanks.

EOI lang need sa 189. Yung ibang subclass pumupunta ka pa sa website ng sponsoring states dahil need yun for state sponsorship. Sa 189 no need kasi independent visa yan

Kapag nag apply sa EOI then naka received ng Nomination, No need to upload documents sa ImmiAccount?

    Thank you.

189 is by direct invitation, there's no nomination stage unlike 190.

Once you received the invite, there will be an Apply button from the EOI (SkillSelect) landing page. When clicked, that will redirect you to ImmiAccount for the visa application stage. This is where, in fact, you will be required to upload all the proof/documentation in relation to the claims that you indicated in the invited EOI.

Read the step-by-step process here: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/skilled-independent-189/points-tested#HowTo

    All the best!

    Thank you.

1st thing is submit an EOI sa skillselect (189). No docs to upload yet however, need na lahat ng points na ikiclaim by the time na isubmit mo ung EOI ay supported with documents as of submission date (Valid PTE, Valid Skills Assessment, Work experience count, etc.). Document upload in ImmiAccount is only done when you have Invitation to Apply (ITA) from DHA.

For 190, may specific criteria and sometimes additional requirements/steps ang ibang states so need mo icheck ung State Websites nila for details.

Preferably separate EOI for 189, 190 by state.

    Thank you

For EOI account, possible to apply different visa type as long as illigible with the same EOI account right?
and for Visa 190 if nominated, what is the next process po.?

    THank you

Again, mas advisable to have different EOI for different visa types. Esp. for 190, nakikita ng bawat state kung you applied to multiple states with one EOI. Yung ibang states, priority nila ung nag apply lang sa state nila & no other states. But yea, you can use one EOI for multiple visa type provided na hindi condition na ung particular state lng na yun ang inapplyan for that EOI

    189 => EOI => ITA => Lodge (upload docs)
190 => EOI => State Nomination Process* => ITA => Lodge (upload docs)

*Check individual state website for process

Question po, torn kasi kami which occupation to use - ICT Support Engineer 263212 or ICT Customer Support Officer 313112 - and magkaiba po kasi assessing authority. Job experiences naman po is relevant to both.

Baka po anyone can help shed some light hehe, may mga nakausap na din po kami dito from both roles and seems both naman has good chance of invites.

Any thoughts baka may pros and cons po kayo na di ko pa nabasa or what.
2.) What to do if not enough payment evidence (especially missing payslips)/ cannot retrieve bank statements? Di niyo nalang po ba to isasama for assessment?
3.) Your general thoughts which occupation to use?

    Maraming salamat po!

Hi everyone especially for those na nagsucceed na, would like to check on the EOI -Education starting date, particular po ba ang immigration nito? because in my TOR that I requested 3 years ago, there is no exact date of the start of my Bachelor's degree. So basically I just input June 1, YYYY in the EOI. I also have another TOR which was the first one I requested after graduation around 10 yrs ago na ung format ng school TOR namin may admission date which is the enrollment date but still no starting date only the year.
Hope someone can answer me. Thank you

‘Over claiming points even if by accident most likely will lead to refusal. You can also be given a PIC 4020, which is for an applicant who provided misleading or fraudulent information to immigration. If your visa gets refused with PIC 4020, it will have a 3 year. ‘

Any Hope for PR for my friend? need help pls

    For context:

My friend who has been here in Australia for 10 years, extending from one student visa to another. Right now he is on a Covid Visa and will expire soon.

Is there any hope for him to get a PR? here is the specifics.
    1. Age is already past 45 yrs
    2. Completed studies in australia for aged care
    3. Has Aged care work experience for around 8-10 years

Based from my current knowledge it is possible to extend his stay if he gets sponsored by an employer (correct me if I'm wrong), else is there any other way other than this path?

He has to look for an employer who is part of the DAMA program. They can sponsor up to 50 years old, I'm just not sure about the details of the visa.

Once in a while I see posts in the community FB group about an employer willing to sponsor under DAMA but it's usually in regional areas. Regional as in far from the city, not regional like the Adelaide metro area, just to be clear.

For example sa software engineer hindi pala dapat counted first 2 years na work exp pero nalagay sa EOI so baka incorrect yung extra 5 points.

binasa ko yung thread. best thing to do is hire a migration lawyer to help you. si miss @RheaMARN1171933 din pala nag assist dun sa poster. so you might want to do a consultation sakanya.

    Hello po,

Ask lang po ng advise. Naka-receive ako ng pre-invite from VIC. Sa EOI ko nilagay ko start day ng work pero from ACS iba start ng qualified skill. Wala naman change sa point. Total of 90 pa din even if i-change ko. Na-submit ko na din nomination application.

Better ba if i-change ko now yung EOI to correct start day based on ACS or makaka-affect ba sya sa application ko sa VIC since may changes sa EOI as reflected on Last Submitted on. Im thinking let it be since di naman mag-change yung pts, then i-change na lang yung date if they ask for it.

Any suggestion po?

For Visa 190, you need "Competent English": https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/skilled-nominated-190#Eligibility

As defined in above link, competent means a minimum of 6.0 for each IELTS component: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-support/meeting-our-requirements/english-language/competent-english

FYI na iba-iba yata yung level of English requirement per visa (just thought I'd mention it for others who come across this post).
