Dunno if this is the right thread, pero here goes:

I’ve been in three different position po in my current company, result ng lateral transfer then promotion. Tama po ba yung ginawa ko sa EOI ko po na per position is isang entry as employment experience?

Or should it be just one and my current position lang ang name? Wouldn’t that look wrong since di pa naman ako Supervisor for 3 years… but I don’t know if this is the right way.. I do have appointment/ offer letter for all 3 position as proof po.

PS. Updating my EOIs now as prep for incoming invitations from different state.
I’ll be deleting my EOI for QLD since they require resubmission of EOI right?

Yes @MidnightPanda12 tama naman yong naka itemised yung each roles mo within the same company. It will be scrutinised and verified ng CO yan- better be transparent IMO
End of the day as long you can prove those in paper, importante is that every role is tied down / relevant sa nominated occupation.
Ganito din ba ginawa mo during skills assessment?

Ay yes you need the reference numbers for both before you can submit an EOI for GSM.

Hello po. Ask lang po ng advice if may changes po ba akong need na ilagay sa EOI ko since I'm pregnant po with my de facto partner? Should I include 2 dependents po sa EOI ko? Makakaaffect din po ba if sakali mainvite po ako?

Yes, preferred ang PTE over IELTS. PTE is computer-based (not online, you still have to attend a test centre). I would suggest that you start with your ACS skills assessment first before taking PTE. Mas matrabaho (super tedious) ang skills assessment part. If you are confident you'll get positive ACS results, then pwede mo na din asikasuhin yung PTE mo siguro.

RSEA has always been optional…but I tell my clients to do it anyway. With regards to transitioning to 186, I always advice to sort out 189/190 straight after 482 and not to wait years to qualify for 186…a lot can happen in between - change of policy or employer not wanting to sponsor in the end.

thanks ms @RheaMARN1171933. that's what i did, nauna actually ko inayos ang 189/190 (sitting at 85pts and 90pts respectively) pero sa sobrang scarce ng invite for engineers e mauuna na mag 2yrs ang 482 ko haha now na im eligible for the 186, grab ko na siguro kasi sure na yon e. para din wag nako makigulo pa sa mga nag aantay ng invite ng 189/190. so sa 186 application po ba need pa RSEA? or pwede nako sa CDR lang?

The RSEA is used to check if your work exp is aligned with your occupation. Ang purpose nito is para sure ka na macclaim mo ang pts for work exp.

Since di naman points tested ang 186, no need for RSEA. CDR lang pwede na. Ang reqt lang naman is a positive skill assessment.

My mga nabasa po ako about skills assessment validity. Ano po ba dapat gawin pag more than 3 yrs na? Need po ba mgpa full assessment ulit? or nrerenew lang po ba ang date? My assessment po is from EA way back 2019, mgttry po sana ulit mglodge EOI ngaun. Salamat po.

Check with EA usually bago mag expire you can renew it without going through another CDR .
In my experience lang naman nag process ako ulit dahil expired na at marami na din changes since the first assessment.
Check mo pa din with EA if you remain in the same company or job , i don’t think there will be any repercussions bukod sa they will assess the last 10 years of your career or peede nila maconsider until present .

Both are allowed gumawa ng EOIs kahit ilang combination pa gustuhin nila , more chances yan syempre lalo na if priority occupation kahit isa sa inyo.

Wala pa naman po akong invitation kaya pwede ko pa mardit ang EOI right? If ever tanggapin ko yung offer at mag resign na sa current job ko, update ko lang ang EOI at magpa assess po ba uli sa ACS if gusto ko magclaim din ng points don sa maging bago kong work para at least maka claim po sana ako ng hanggang 8yrs sa work experience. Salamat sa sasagot. 😃

If you resign and with less than 8 years positively assessed - you can still update your EOI as it is considered positively assessed as it is a continuing employment.

Example lang I know NSW is very strict as they follow the deemed skilled date as well as ACT.

For other states you may have a concession regarding your future employment and claim base on employment evidences na.

In my opinion if that 3 months will be a deal breaker to get to your 8 years claims na positively assessed and that is important to get you through sa nomination stage without hassle ,you just need to wait out till November before moving to another opportunity to secure it without getting another assessment.

EA skills assessment does not expire, it just needs to be re-instated since the Department will only accept up to 3 years from the date on the letter

Only ACT and NSW follow what’s stated on the outcome letter. For other states as well as 189, we still claim points despite the fact ACS’ deductions this is based on the immigration policy that these years can be recongnised.
