Very timely ito at currently nag-aapply for exemption yung employer ko. Hoping for a positive result! :D

@jakibantiles I suggest for you to get a car kahit second hand na. mahirap kung motor tapos long drive. tapos kasama mo pa partner mo so mas ok kung car. saka kahit sa shops or groceries mas madali kung car gamit mo. AU is unlike SG na walking distance lang ang mga fairprice or sheng siong.

Hi po need help regarding this po please, do I still need to register to Engineers Australia even if the TSS 482 Visa doesnt have a mandatory skills assessment? Maraming salamat po!

Hi po. Ano pong occupation niyo? ME po ako, lodged TSS 482 MS via visa lawyer. Hinanapan ako ng EA assessment at PRC license.

I only have PRC, ME din po and applying for TSS 482 MS, as per my agent, no need ang skills assessment for TSS 482? You only need skills assessment for PR visa? Thanks

Sinubmit ko na lang din yung outcome letter from EA which I happened to have bago pa ako masponsoran, initiative ko lang to prove yung years of relevant exp ko.

I have no problem getting all of the requirements from my current employer here in Australia, yung problema ko lahat ng COE ko from the Philippines eh puro generic lang, I tried to ask for a detailed one pero as usual kahit anong pilit ko pa e generic parin yun binigay. Hassle

My employer is suggesting to nominate for 2 years daw muna then renew na lang after. Or is it just one click sa immi account? Thank you!

@meggie , AFAIK, 2 years is for short-term stream and 4 years is for medium stream. Haven't seen anyone posted for renewal of 482 but let's see.

Hi everyone, my husband got his 482 visa early this year but we were still dating at that time that I wasn't included on his application. Fast forward until we got married last week and currently applying for 482 subsequent entrant. We are waiting for the official marriage certificate from Victoria BDM and our concern is regarding his employer. We are aware that we need a letter of support that states that his employer is extending the nomination to me. How can we ask this from his employer? I'm not sure if they are aware of this kind of cases but his manager seems to be hesitant in providing the letter. Should we ask directly to their HR or any immigration lawyer who can help us with this?

Thanks so much in advance! =)

Dun sa requirement na "have at least 2 years relevant work experience in your nominated occupation or a related field" pwede po ba i-account ang Assistant in Nursing na work for 2 years kahit na casual sa isang agency? RN po ako ngayon sa aged care and may willing mag sponsor sakin na facility kaso kulang pa po sa 3,952 hours ang work ko. TIA!

For PR via 186 po ba?

Hi Ms Cucci, thanks for the response po. Working as RN Aged Care na ako ngayon kaso 3,288hrs palang meron as per statement of service. Ang sabi naman po sa immi website "have at least 2 years relevant work experience in your nominated occupation or a related field."

Sorry, I have no idea kung pwede ang AIN experience... nakapag-work ka ba as nurse outside Australia? Counted naman yun as years of experience for visa purposes once you gain registration with AHPRA.

Talk and explain to your employer the circumstances and emphasize that there is no additional cost for them except the letter explaining the reason for addition of subsequent entrants.

Hello po. Anyone with info if TSS 482 short term stream po, wala po b talaga sya pathway to residency?

as is... no... pero if conditions are met pwede naman mag-ask sa employer kung pwede ma-sponsor for ENS 186 visa.

@cucci thanks sa reply! Parang for 186, usually nasa MLTSOL lang yata??Pero may idea po kau kung yung occupation is in both STSOL and ROL pla, tama b na pwede yung RSMS 187 Temporary Residence Transition stream? As long as maka 3yrs sa employer?

Sorry I am not familiar with RSMS 187... but cursory reading of the basic eligibility requirements does not indicate any occupation list whether STOL or MLTSOL...

As I understand it, as long as you are coming from either 482 or 457, working in regional Australia, has served 3 years with your employer and your employer is willing to sponsor you, you can apply for the RSMS 187.

@tcha Since you are in SA already, once SA starts accepting applicants for state sponsorship maybe you can check if your occupation is in their list & what the requirements are for 190/491 state sponsorship. If you can meet the requirements, I suggest you just go for that since that's a sure way to PR & you don't have to stay with your current employer for 3 years before you can secure your PR pathway.

Note though that the slots for some occupations fill-up quickly, they're gone within a few hours after SA starts accepting applications. So it's best to have all requirements on hand so you can apply right away.

@maguero I still have to get a hold of a positive skills assessment. If God’s willing, once I get a positive result, I will opt for 491/190 visa. Apparently, my case is not that straight forward. Though I have over 10yrs work experience on my nominated occupation, seems like my Diploma is not considered a Diploma if I’ll based it on AQF. That is my worry. So I was looking for another pathway if ever...🤞🏻

@tcha Mahirap nga kung walang positive skills assessment since your options will become limited. Hopefully you'll find a way to get this. Good luck!
