Hi guys. I'm an Electrical Engineer. 3 years palang ako working sa isang Geothermal powerplant dito sa PH and this is also my first job. Okay lang ba makahingi ng sample CDR sa inyo? Di ko kasi alam paano sisimulan. Yung nakuha ko kasi sample from the net is experienced engineer na. 1 career episode = 3 years nya sa trabaho. Meron ba kayo na very simple lang yung CDR. Maganda naman work ko dito sa Pinas pero di ko talaga alam if papaano ko gagawin at sisimulan.

Working experience:
1 year cadet engineering program (Dito marami ako nagawang projects and activities from every departments na napuntahan ko)
2 years sa Operations group (Malawak yung pwede sakupin ng work ko dito kasi responsibility ko ang isang Power Plant which comprises of 2 generating units)

Marami po sana ako data. Nga lang po, hindi talaga ako marunong gumawa ng CDR. Hihingi lang po sana ng help makagawa ng CDR. Wala kasi talaga ako alam paano tamang diskarte dito. If possible, from those members na kunti lang din experience katulad ko pero maganda yung naging assessment sa EA. Of course, gusto ko rin po na medyo maganda assessment ng EA ko baka sakali makatulong sa paghahanap ko ng work sa Oz.

Mas maganda rin po sana kung meron dyan katulad ko na galing from Generating Plants.

Hi po good afternoon.. Ask ko lng po, what if ayaw po mgbigay ng hr ng coe n nkaindicate ang job duties and responsibilities? Our hr here suggest i ask my manager for a separate letter certifying my roles. Pero ung s previous companies ko ayaw nila mgbigay.

The date on my receipt is oct 1. I received a snail mail from EA this morning dated Jan 30 that i still have to provide such referencr documents. I'm here in sg. My ibang Documents po b n pwede iprovide aside from coe. Please enlighten me. Thanks po!

@eun08 may shortcoming din ako tulad mo. yung dalawang COE ko walang detailed job description. ang gnawa ko tumawag ako sa dating hr namin. binigyan ko ng draft ng COE accdg to EA requirements tpos ayun ginawan ako ng COE complete with company details. yung isa na lang ang hinihintay ko. regarding sa mga companies mo na ayaw magbgay ng COE mo gawa ka ng affidavit from a third party. pwedeng ang magtestify ng roles mo eh yung supervisor mo o kaya officemate mo tapos panotarize mo. tpos gawa ka ng sworn statement na yun nga ang role mo tpos panotarize mo din para legal document sila. alam ko matrabaho pero kelangan nating gawin para maassess tayo.

@pilot_marker Sir. Di ko po kasi alam if may magagawa ako. enough na ba yung experience ko? sana makahiram po ako sa inyo ng sample CDR na may maunti lang ang experience pero maraming projects or responsibility. Thanks po

@eun08 aside sa sinabi ni milkshake, pwede ka talaga hingi ng coe sa manager mo, ussually HR mag provide pag kelangan nakasulat salary. Manager mo talaga nakaka alam duties mo. Risky lang kasi malalaman ng boss mo na plano mo pala umalis. Hehe. Sa previous work mo, gawa ka na ng draft ng coe mo na nakalagay na lahat ng details mo at duties etc, yung tipong ilalagay na lang nila letterhead nila.

@milkshake thanks for the suggestions. Sinabi ko din s previous company ko n ganun mgbigay ako format ayaw din, s korea p nmn sya. So if need ko officemate n mgtetestify for me ung mga ksama ko kc umalis n rin don. Pano po kaya yon...

@pilot_marker thanks po. If manager po ang mgprovide no need n po ipanotaryo? Like ko itry s manager nmen ngiisip p lng ako ng pwede idahilan. Hehe ung supervisor ko ok sana kaso nkbakasyon sya ngun at s feb 23 p balik. Hayzz...

hi, makikisali kami, we submitted online cdr application last dec 22 pero hanggang ngaun hindi pa kami binabalitaan ng agent namin kung nagbago na ba ang status. Last time on queu pa din sya. Meron na ba ditong online dec applicants na meron ng assessing officer ang status?

hey guys, share ko lng naresib ko na EA assessment outcome ko just today. Yun letter dated 06-Feb-15, 20-Oct-14 natanggap ng EA.

Just to encourage some people here. I don't have a work experience as an engineering. I submitted my EA assessment (paper based) first week of September 2014. I received a positive assessment last week of December. What I did was to compile my manuscript/thesis and my other 2 group reports in school. It worked for me. The most important thing in EA is how you satisfy each competency elements of being a Professional Engineer. EA have a guide or example for how each element is satisfied. May mga services din ako nakita online that can help you prepare your CDR if you're not confident on your own, but for a fee. I didn't avail it because I cannot afford it. My words on people who have little experience is that each engineering project is better than the each year of engineering employment. As long as you have lot's of activities to tell, it's better.

Add: Years in experience is still important, for points test and job searching.

mukhang positive naman yan sir... yun sa akin, ndi lang na-consider yun 1.5yr ko kasi hindi ako nakapagproduce ng COE galing sa company ko sa Japan.

@yosh10 Sana nga. nagwo-worry ako kasi yung 2 previous companies ko sa Malaysia e hindi ako nakapagbigay ng detailed COE. Nag Statutory Declaration lang ako from ex-colleagues.

Guys, tanong lng po. Kung yung sa career episodes ko ay lahat sa current company, kailangan pa din ba mag produce ng COE from previous company? Mukang mahihirapan kasi ako makakuha ng COE sa dati kong kumpanya. Salamat.

@moss0805 kung nagpapa-assess ka ng experience, kelangan mo ng career episode sa lahat ng working experience mo na gusto mo i-claim. Kung education lang, kahit sa isang company lang lahat. hope this helps.

@nice_guy good morning! I just received my EA letter today. Yey positive outcome: level 1 - 15 points na yun di ba?

Then if nilagay nya yun overseas experience from this date to date - with points na rin depende sa total work experience?

thanks sa reply @mast3ree what if gusto ko lng ipa-assess ang education at yung 5yr work experience sa current company ko. Di ko na ipapa-assess yung previous. Pano pg gnun sir?
