Allow me to share our journey—3 long years of preparation and anticipation, filled with excitement, anxiety, frustration, and hope. But as they say, good things come to those who wait.

Yesterday, exactly 20 months after submitting our visa application, we received the best news ever!

Our Visa Application Timeline

•2022•
July 27 – Consulted with a Migration Agent
August 31 – Decided to proceed with the application
September 6 – Began collating requirements for ACS
October 5 – Completed all ACS documents; started reviewing and practicing for PTE
November 4 – Submitted ACS assessment request
December 20 – Passed the PTE English examination

•2023•
March 1 – Received ACS assessment; my partner (now husband) was assessed as Bachelor’s Degree, I was tagged as Associate Degree, we opted to appeal
March 13 – Submitted appeal to ACS
March 17 – Submitted EOI for 189 visa
March 20 – Submitted EOI for 190 visa (partner as primary applicant)
April 18 – Received invite for Victoria Nomination
April 20 – Submitted application for Victorian Nomination
April 21 – Received ITA for VIC 190 and started collecting documents for Visa Application
June 1 – ACS appeal approved with a positive result and appeal payment refunded
June 13 – Lodged SC 190 visa application (Primary and De Facto)
June 22 – Completed Medical Examination
July 14 – Submitted NBI Police Clearance
September 30 - We got married 💒

•2024• A Silent Year
February 6 - Informed DHA about our marriage and submitted Notification of changes in circumstances

•2025•
January 20 – Received S56 request to update police clearance (NBI) and redo medical
January 23 – Completed medical examination
February 6 – Submitted updated NBI clearance and S56 response
February 13 - Visa Granted! 🎉🎉🎉

1 month na nakalipas simula nag pasa ako ng EOI pero wala pa din invite, meaning ba nito wala na talaga pag asa?

Wait ka lang. Yung iba dito samin more than a year naghintay ng invite. Maraming factors bago mainvite eh. Okay ka pa sa one month. Kelangan mo extra patience, pero pag maswerte ka maiinvite ka agad eh. Basa ka lang sa thread ng Waiting for Invites yata yun. Iba iba timeline namin dito. Goodluck

Hello, tanong ko lang, ung bridging visa na automatically issued nung ng apply ako ng 190 "not active" ung status, ngayon ng check ako sa VEVO in effect na ung bridging visa, paano po ako makakakuha nung updated na Bridging visa grant na nakalagay na "active"? thank you sa sasagot

Congrats po!!! ang galing. Kahit pala tlga 80 points kayang kaya mainvite. Ask ko lang onshore po ba kayo or offshore?

Hello, nakaka log in kayo sa immi account niyo? just want to make sure na hindi et isolated sa account ko lang. eto ung error na nakukuha ko upon trying to log in

Hi, I just checked mine. Nakakalogin ako

just found out na issue eto sa website nila after ou try to access it via your mobile browser. Now I can't use my web browser. Workaround is to use another type of browser or your mobile device na lang.

just found out na issue eto sa website nila after ou try to access it via your mobile browser. Now I can't use my web browser. Workaround is to use another type of browser or your mobile device na lang.

Mobile device lang din ako naglogged in.

Hello! I just got my grant yesterday. Ask ko lang po kung normal ba na hindi agad nagrereflect sa vevo yun visa details? Error kasi lumalabas sa akin.

Na-grant na rin kanina and nag-reflect din agad sa VEVO na "in-effect" na yun 189.
