    Ask ko lang ano ba dapat and requirements ng state sponsorship sa IELTS? example sa NSW? at gaano katagal bago ma approve?

    @heyits7me_mags ang state sponsorship po is not for a specific city, NSW po yung state sponsorship na inaplyan namin where Sydney is one of the city. you can still opt to live and work sa regional area ng NSW where the cost of living is lower. husband mo lang ba nagapply ng visa? tapos dependent ka nya?

    Pag nag-lodge kayo ng 176 visa after ma-approve ung NSW SS, automatic ba na Priority Group 3 na kayo?

    pero pag 176 relative sponsored yun ang priority 4....

    yes sir, thru regular post pinadala saken, pero hindi nako nagpunta ng post office kasi sa bahay naman hinatid... yan na yun sir, positive yan.... kita na lang tayo sa NSW :)

    pag maglodge ka balitaan moko ha, para gayahin na lang kita hehehe... nangangapa ako sa online application e :D

    @icebreaker, Congratulations!...finally naalala ko pa sa kabilang forum naging hopeless ka sa IELTS dahil hindi mo makuha ang kelangan mong score and now you're halfway to your dream. Walang imposible sa taong matiyaga ika nga. Naikukwento lang po ang journey mo for others to keep their faith.

    12/10/11 - Hubby IELTS first take at BC result L & R-5.5, W & S-6.0 OBS=6.0 retake!!!
    12/30/11- Hubby registered at 9.0 Niners.
    03/15/14 - Hubby's comeback at 9.0 Niners preparing for IELTS test. Second attempt for Australian visa.
    05/12/14 - Complete uploading of ACS skills assessment required documents and payment made thru direct deposit.
    05/12/14 - ACS assessment application received.
    07/02/14 - ACS skills assessment result suitable ANZCO code 262113 Systems Administrator as recommended by CO for hubby's job description rather than ANZCO 261311 Analyst Programmer the first ACS ANZCO result suitable released in 2011. I conclude ACS reclassifies ICT Occupations.
    - Work exp. 12yrs. less 6yrs deduction by ACS.
    - Educ. Qualification assessed as AQF Associate Degree major in computing for a 4yr. course BS. Computer Science in a section 2 school.

    @icebreaker, oo naman kahit minsan may mem. gap nako, he he he. naalala ko pa, pag binabalikan nga nakakatuwa diba? sabi ko bakit ba eto nagsasabi ng ganito dun nga sa British expats at expatforum.com ang tatagal na nilang applicant hopeful pa rin at in the end nagaga grant pa rin ng visa. Well, experience wise hindi ka sumuko, batchmates o kita mo mauuna kapa sa amin kaya at yun ang magandang balita tungkol sa visa apps. mo. GOODLUCK! esp sa visa apps. :)

    kung ang degree ko is considered equivalent to au standard = 70 pts
    pag hindi = 65 pts

Actually 1 week lang pala may result na sila upon acknowledging the receipt of our application since I also emailed NSW and they said they mailed it a week after they received the documents. Almost two weeks for mailing the result so yeah, almost 1 month din, pero mabilis pa rin. Eto na siguro ang iapply ko na SS kasi maximum three months pa abutin ng Victoria SS result ko at baka di naman positive so go na tayo for online application. Goodluck to us!

Actually 1 week lang pala may result na sila upon acknowledging the receipt of our application since I also emailed NSW and they said they mailed it a week after they received the documents. Almost two weeks for mailing the result so yeah, almost 1 month din, pero mabilis pa rin. Eto na siguro ang iapply ko na SS kasi

    matataglan pa ang Victoria natin pre, baka hindi ko na antayin yun, tsaka andun tropa ko sa NSW.. kaya malamang dun na lang ako... makikitulog na lang ako sa dog house nila hahahaha...
    nareject na rin ako sa Victoria dati kaya hindi ko na inaasahan yun...
    ito nga nagkukumpleto nako ng requirements... meron pa naman tayo 90 days to reply...
    double check ko pa mga dokumento ko kasi baka may kulang pa mahirap na hehehe...

    kitakits tayo sa NSW pre congrats ulit :D

Kasi nagbasa ako kanina, although mas mabilis nag procesing niya, provisional visa siya and kailangan pa maghintay ng more than 1 year after working for the sponsoring state para makapag-apply ng permanent visa.

Kasi nagbasa ako kanina, although mas mabilis nag procesing niya, provisional visa siya and kailangan pa maghintay ng more than 1 year after working for the sponsoring state para makapag-apply ng permanent visa.
    i think you're referring to 475 visa....
    176 state sponsored is NOT a provisional visa, it is considered as permanent resident visa just like 175...

    Yung 176 kung may state sponsorship lang pero I think it's still points tested

    @icebreaker1928 yup pareho tayo andun din karamihan ng mga barkada ko sa NSW and also mas gusto ko yung weather sa NSW in Sydney in particular. Did you just receive 3 pages of documents? Isa kasi dun kailangan fill-up-an and mail back to NSW Trade and Investment. While the other one is yung last page ng Form 1 ng application form which will be attached in our DIAC application is this correct? I am starting to create a draft of my online application pero I always get locked out for some reason, yung password or ID is not recognizable anymore kinabukasan, not sure if you encounter the same problem.

    Yung 176 kung may state sponsorship lang pero I think it's still points tested

    pero sir magkaiba pa rin ang 475 sa 457

    475 = state sponsor but REGIONAL AREA only
    457 = employer sponsored
