Hi, a UP graduate here. I was granted 456 visa 25days after my graduation last April2011. Kaso that was only for 3months. And now I'm here n ult s PH. I'm not an engineering graduate and tho i have received a lot of negative comments meant to make me lose hope, i will not give-up. I know all of the people in this forum have special reasons 4 all decisions we are taking. I too have a lot of reasons. I have received thousands of rejections frm companies i applied for. Maybe bec im still too young and too fresh but i want to prove all the people who brings me down that i have my own worth in my own ways. We can do this everyone! If there's a will and strong determination there will always be a way. I will not lose hope and I will always pray. </blockquote

pinakaimportante IELTS ka muna kung pwede maka 7 or 8 ka in all bands para pagnagaply tyo sa pr my points na agad..tapos dobol check mo na 2 yrs ka pa lng from ur graduation date..

1.TOR
2.Diploma english version, certfied true copy
3.NBI for Migration to Australia purposes
4. Birth certificate

tapos pde ka na din magpa medical..4K..para mas mabilis procesng mo..ako after2 months grant na visa..mabilis lng maaprove visa ntn..

I think you could still include your bf as a de facto partner even if you did not live in together as long as you are able to prove the relationship. In your case however, the application of secondary applicant will be another process, which means you need to pay $300+ again. In my case sabay kaya isang bayad lang. What i'm preparing are:

1. Statement of joint bank account
2. House contract with deposit receipts
3. pictures
4. declarations from us
5. declarations from relatives, friends, etc.

@chantelle- thunder monster na ako. 2010 din ako grad. 4 months na ako dito. Start na ng 5th month ko today. Haha. Tingin ko nagkikita kita dn tayo nina Captain_A and vinpack sa CEAT canteen or sa Engmeet before. Anyway, mukhang sinulit mo talaga ung binigay sa iyo ng DIAC ha. Sagad sa Feb, para ba ito sa 3 year overseas exp?

@chantelle I just realized, batchmate mo pala yung housemate at friend ko na chem eng from elbi. 04 din sya, baka kilala mo pa.

@adrielli hi! i just want to ask if the curriculum vitae that is requested for 476 visa must be notarized and be sent together with the employment certificates? if so, what should i do if i attached a CV i created. i thought at first it will be enough to just submit a created CV.

@iammaxwell1989 - March 29 ang deadline ko para makapasok sa Oz. Pero Feb n lng kasi nagiipon ako. tapos inexcto ko 1 yr para may malagay ako sa Engrs Australia asesment. san ka sa mgsstay sa Oz? May relatives ka ba sa Oz?

@chantelle Actually di pa ko naglolodge, december pa. But almost complete na documents.
My 'forecasted' timeline is:

Dec 2012 : lodge application
March 2013: Visa approval
Jan 2014: Leave for Au

That's about 1 year after I lodge my application.

I'm considering perth or melbourne, most likely melbourne. I did some research and melbourne seems to be the best place for new migrants.

Wala akong relatives sa Oz kaya medyo kabado. Kw ba? Sana madaming Pinoy sa Melbourne.

@iammaxwell1989 january pa planu ko magtake ng ielts,. currently converting my checking account to joint account namen para sa de facto proof pati ibang mga docs.. planu ko din sagarin ang 2year deadline ng pag lodge ng visa para maka 3 yrs exp ako..october 2013 p naman kasi.. mas maganda kasi if kahit panu may exp kana pagdating oz.. sa perth ako andun relative ko para tipid..

@chantelle gud idea yung talk sa ceat about sa visa 476, d kasi sya masyado sikat sa elbi..

@ghypez cge 2014 pa ko jan sayang yung 3 yrs exp e.. PR na siguru kayu nun ni @vinpack pagdating ko..

Baka magtry ako magparemark. I inquired with BC just now. Remarking costs GBP60 (PhP 4000). If you get higher grades, the fee will be reimbursed. If not, say goodbye to your 4k.
Good thing though, there is no chance of getting lower scores.

good planning..
you may also consider na merong allowance to make the entry..
so kahit approved na ang visa mo ngaun, merong atleast 1 year enter AU..

so my point is, check mo kung kelan ang 'optimal' date na mag-apply considering these 3 factors:
- 2yr period after graduation
- 1 year allowance to enter AU after visa is granted
- and your 3 yrs na work experience.

@Captain_A I reviewed on my own as I did not have the luxury of time and money to spend on review centers.

Sa IELTS, time is your greatest friendnemy, so practice with timer. I remember sa writing test during the last 30 seconds ko lang sinulat yung conclusion ko. You will not have the time to count the words, so know how many words your 'typical' paragraph has. Sa speaking I dunno, swertehan siguro sa topic. Medyo off topic yata ito dito. hehe.

Kung kaya niyo palang mag-apply sa visa na yan, do it as early as possible. Every July 1 of the year kasi nag-iimplement ng changes sa visa rules kaya malay natin next year ipphase out na nila tong visa...di natin masisigurado e hehe
