    May tax brackets sila, similar satin. For simple tax computation, you can refer to this site: http://calculators.ato.gov.au/scripts/asp/simpletaxcalc/main.asp. Select mo 2012 as the relevant income year. Every fiscal year kasi, nag-iiba tax brackets nila.

    Dun sa salary level, i-google niyo yung "Hays Salary Guide"...may kanya kanyang research sila sa bawat occupation :)

    If i want to pursue a teaching career in Aussie (God willing we get our PR)- what can I do IF: (here's the background of my situation):

    To all,

    Always check the immi website as they usually post what are the in demand jobs for the quarter.

    High paying jobs aside from the usual CEO and directors are forklifter, inter-state truck driver. High paying job - 170k up gross.

    Tax classifications:

    160k up - high income eaners, no more benefits, maximum tax
    80k - 159k - middle earners, some will still recive benefits depending on situation, mid tax
    79k - below - low income earners, the lower the income less tax to null (forgot the 0 tax annual income)

    above mentioned net income per year.

    If offered with 60k, single or couple sus mabubuhay naman kayo ng tama. If family well, depende sa ilan anak and situation so nasa centrelink ang sagot nyo. The higher the better but that doesnt mean na same tax bracket ha...again 40%++ ang tax ng high income earners compared sa ibang bansa like sa SG iba sobrang baba.

    FYI. Maraming full-blown Aussie, meaning Australians na hindi migrants ha, nalabas ng Australia because of tax para mabayaran ang bahay at lupa etc etc... Pero iba naman situation ng migrante sa kanila.
