@prcand @rich88 mga sir good evening po. May tanong po sana ako, AMA University po grad (sec.2), BSITat yung NOC po ni husband ay Developer Programmer po. Right now nasa 8 yrs ang exp. nya. Malaki po kaya chance na suitable at bachelor degree ma assess sa kanya ng ACS?

1. 2 yrs & 3 months - Application Developer
2. 1 yr & 6 months - Windows Admin
3. 2 yrs & 9 months - Application Developer
4. 1yr & 7 months - current job. App Developer

@ichi_pestano my understanding is, at least 2 years relevant experience mo on your nominated occupation for the past 10 years. If lagpas 10 years ago na yung last experience mo for your occupation, dapat may 4 years kang relevant experience on that role.

About naman sa ICT Major/Minor, nakadepend yan sa number of units na tinake mo na related sa occupation mo. Parang pag >50% is major, tpos <50% is minor. I'm not 100% sure on these figures though. Nasa ACS site yan ang alam ko, parang nabasa ko dati.

@cookiemonster may chance naman lahat basta maayos yung mga JD saka lahat ng requirements eh nasubmit ng maayos. Hindi ko lang sure if maka-count yung role na Windows Admin experience as Developer Programmer. Si ACS lang ang makakapag decide..

thank you po sa pag reply. Lahat po ng COE maayos naman po gaya ng required ng ACS except po sa current company na ang binigay po ay walang duties. Magpasa na lang po ng affidavit at papirmahan sa Manager nya. Mag review narin nito for IELTS at pilitin makakuha ng 7 o 8.

@cookiemonster mukhang di make-credit and Windows admin role, unless of course it involves development work na naka-clearly state sa work reference letter. As for section 2, medyo kaunti ung nagshe-share dito, kaya di ako sigurado ano bearing niya sa final assessment.

Nevertheless, ung nasa control mo ay ung work reference letters talaga, if possible, sundin mo ung format by the letter (figuratively)

@prcand @rich88 Hello update lang nag-reply si case officer, di lang ko sure if na gets nia yung sabi ko na magppasa ako ng more comprehensive na ER...

"I can confirm your work employment from periods of 05/2007 to 10/2012 were assessed as non-professional ICT level experience. As such, a HR certificate will not be able to provide any more information in regards to your day to day duties."

Alhtough ang sayang tlaga, anyway, yung roles ko dati eh medyo hawig naman sa current, baka wala lang talaga dun yung hinhanap nila na keywords/duties. Tanggapin ko na lang siguro to at maghintay. Pan IELTS din yung review fee.

mga sir, ano po ba itsura nung COE na pwede sa ACS? problem ko kasi eh kapag nanghingi ako sa HR ng dati ko na company eh baka hindi din pwede.

Thank you @guenb. mas luminaw na ngayon yung COE part. Pero okay lang ba kahit ganun lang ka detailed yung job description (page 12)? May iba kasi nagsasabi na dapat daw super detailed which is tingin ko di ko magagawa.

Hello everyone. May tanong lang ako.

May 11 years na akong nag-wo-work as programmer. Pero ang job titles ko sa mga kumpanyang napasukan ko ay:

1. Software Engineer
2. Software Developer
3. .Net Developer
4. Systems Analyst
5. Technical Consultant

Sa lahat ng trabaho ko, ang main role ko talaga, mag-code ng web applications (madalas from scratch, tapos yung usual e may mga pasundot-sundot na bug fixes, pag-design/analyse ng user requirements at testing nung mga gawa namin)

Ang balak kong gamitin for assessment sa ACS ay yung "Developer Programmer" na role, since parang eto yung role sa ACS na nagsasabing "oo, nag-iinterpret ako ng user requirements at nagko-code".

Magiging issue ba 'yung papalit-palit na job title ko or mas nagko-concentrate sila sa projects na ginawa mo based sa detailed job description?

@bayaw bro, IMO, yung 1,2,3 mo walang problema kasi closely related talaga yang 3. Ang tingin ko mejo malayo is yung systems analyst. Pag tiningnan mo kasi ung responsibilities ng systems analyst, mejo iba na sa 1,2, at 3.

Yung technical consultant naman mejo broad at ambiguous. I suggest na ikaw na lang gumawa ng sarili mong assessment tapos lagay mong role is "developer/software developer" para consistent althroughout.

Hi @bayaw, no issue if ever, basta sa duties and responsibilities, dapat imatch mo ung sa developer programmer. Same tayo case, for past years, more of dev ung position, pero currently, systems analyst ako.
I nominate dev/programmer din, tpos for current position, systems analyst, pero ung job description match for dev programmer.

Ask ko lng kng ano pipiliin sa ACS skills application- (1) Skills (Qualification and details of Experience must be supplied) (2) RPL (Details of Experience and a completed ACS Project Report Form must be supplied). I'll appreciate any kind response sa enquiry ko.

Second Question, all docs ko napa-notaryo ko na sa Pinas but I forgot to include my Passport/Birth Certificate. Ok lng ba d2 sa SG na ako magpa notaryo for that doc and is there's any issue if I do this?

Based from our experience, we nominated comp network and sys engr..kng base lng nmin sa duties and responsilities ng ACS eh masyadong generic. Pro work ni hubby mas malawak ung scope of work nya..so nagtry pa din kme hoping for positive result. Mga job title nya from his past work experiences (technical support engr,sr systems engr, service delivery consultant, associate operations manager) kng titignan mo ang lalayo ng title versus sa nominated occupation except sr systems engr. Pro ang mahalaga is detailed jd ng bawat work nyo..2 yrs deduction ang assessment kay hubby

@kittykitkat18 hi kitty, plan ko magsubmit ulit sa june ng documents sa acs, kaso nakita ko yung stamp ni Andrew EE until March 31, 2016 lang. valid pa ba nun yung documents or need ko mag pa notary ulit?

@bayaw mas binibigyan ng importance ni ACS ung detailed job description rather than the job title itself. so if kaya mong isama sa work reference letters ung actual work sa NOC na balak mong applyan, ayos lang yan

@pinoycoder sabi ng ibang websites, better daw if pag most recent ung certified true copy dates...

pero to be honest, pag "historical" ung documents (ie, birth certificate, university diploma, TOR, past work reference letters, etc) ayos lang na gamitin ung luma (historical nga eh, walang nababago).

pero ung iba na dapat updated tulad ng current company, better most recent (kasi pwede balikan ka ng officer, so unahan mo na). sa case ko, pina certify ko parin ung PCCs and bio page ng passport ko (walang magawa sa buhay LOL). pero ung iba (which is mostly majority ng docs), lumang certified true copies lang
