Hi @ylai and @Bryann, I just passed my application to ACS last week.

Based from what I understood, you just have to specify the roles and responsibilities you have for the duration of your stay in the company.

Example:
Kath - (official job role) Software Engineer

Projects involvement for 4 years includes:
Tester
Developer
Researcher
Programmer

Yan yung mga naging roles ko internally. Pero ang ginawa ko sa COE eh Job Description ng isang Software Engineer lang. Parang in general lang.

Yung sinasabi kse nila na for every project, baka kse applicable yan sa ibang company not particularly in the Philippines.

Example:
First Software Engineer ka, then after a year 2 years, nalipat ka naman sa Network Department, so naging Network Administrator ka.. so since nag-iba yung role mo, saka mo ngayon i-detailed yung description/responsibilities mo.

Well, yan yung gnawa ko.. malalaman natin kung mali kung hihingan ako ng additional requirements. Di pa nila nakukuha yung docs ko eh. Ayun!

@aolee i'm planning to include my course syllabus sa mga documents... nag request na nga ako sa school namin pero it's not mentioned sa PASA Guidelines

Hi guys! ...nag email ako sa acs dahil di ako mapalagay kung RPL ba at kelangan ko pang magsubmit ng mga project reports...tinanong ko rin kung kelangan nila ng course syllabus just to prove na related naman sa ICT yung course ko...sumagot sila na dun daw sa group B na criteria "weren't a major in ICT e.g. was not primarily ICT focused. " in directly parang sinagot nila na di kelangan ng course syllabus.

@issa thanks, tingin ko rin nga optional doc cya kasi wala sa guidelines, namention kasi ng friend ko na hinihingan cya ng agent nya ng course syllabus, told him hindi cya mandatory. just want to check with you too guys kung tama pagkaintindi ko or baka may na miss out kasi ako. thanks guys.

Detailed COE ung sinubmit ko sa ACS.
parang ganito:
Position: programmer
Project: credit risk, then naglagay ako ng short description ng project
Responsibilities: design new codes, provide uat support etc
Technology used: unix, sql.

so lahat ng project ko per company nilagay ko sa COe para sigurado. hehe
@aolee, issa, para san ang course sylabus? ksama ba to pag magsusubmit ka ng RPL?
nagsubmit din ako ng RPL, pero wala akong binigay na course sylabus/

2009 pa ako nagsubmit so di ko alam if bago na ang requirements ng ACS ngayon.

thanks Bonzi, that's also what i have in mind, may COE nako na draft ganyan rin content. sana enough na eto as for the syllabus d ko rin alam bakit ung iba nag sasabi na isama daw.

@bonzi, graduate kasi ako ng engineering pero may minor subjects ako na related sa ICT. medyo naguluhan kasi ako kung sa "skills" or "RPL" ako dapat. kasi pag binasa mo naman yung criteria dun sa group B pasok naman ako sa "skills" kaya nag email ako sa kanila if they need the course syllabus to prove na may minor subjects akong related sa ICT.
@aolee, based dun sa sagot nila sa email ko, yes i would say na di sya mandatory.

Sa wakas nakapag-lodge na din ako ng skill assessment sa ACS... I'm hoping & praying for a smooth sailing... sana positive & mas mabilis ang result.

Guys as in sure ba na kinokontak ng ACS ang previous & current employers for verification?

@katlin924 IELTS ko this september... try ko self-review lang... hopefully ma-meet kahit band 7 para may points.

@aolee thanks! yeap i'll keep you updated guys! btw last friday (5aug) ko lang pina-courier ACS requirements then this morning (monday, 8aug) may email na sakin ACS to confirm na they have received my documents na. Buti may confirmation.. umpisa na 'to yuhu!!!

@mimaahk Wow ang galing! Ako pina-registered mail ko lang yung akin eh. Til now wala pang confirmation from them! Buti ka pa.. sana next week makakuha na ko ng confirmation from them.

Anyway, Sa October ako nagpa-sched ng IELTS.

Halos ikaw lang ata ang registered mail. Di ko kabisado ang registered Mail sa Philippine Post pero dito sa Australia Post pag sinabing Registered Mail yan ang pinaka safest way of sending Mail lalo sa Documents because may tracking number at kailangan ng sign by the recipient. kung hindi man ito na deliver kailangan i claim sa malapit na post office. the good thing is its cheaper than courier but it take a week before you receive pero kapag courier usually the following day or in two days in local mail. Kung sa abroad naman it takes 2 weeks while courier it take only 5 working days.

sa wakas makukumpleto ko na docs hahaha! One last question... Tama ba pagkakaintindi ko na yung general requirement doc kaylangan certified copy
- Birth certificate
- Passport
- Diploma
- Transcript


While yung corroborative information if you are providing a personal declaration like:
- ITR
- PAYSLIP
- COE
- Attestment ng colleague
can be left na hindi na certified true copy?

@kaitlin924 halos magkapareho pala tayo ng magiging timeline... goodluck talaga satin! Sana ma-receive mo na din confirmation from ACS... nanghinayang kasi ko sa days kaya pina-courier ko na kahit medyo mas mahal, 2 to 3 working days daw pero parang less pa kasi friday ng hapon ko pinadala then early monday morning dito sa Sg nag-email agad. Katuwa lang ang sipag nila at may confirmation agad pagkareceive.

Suggestion ng iba usually is 2copies na agad ang ipa-CTC, one for ACS and one for DIAC... sakin isa-isang copy lang muna pina-CTC ko, ang mahal din kasi 5sgd & 1sgd for succeeding relevant pages dito... babalikan ko nalang yung notary public for another round of ctc pag magsasubmit nako sa DIAC pag positive result na ACS.

Guys may idea kayo kung ano usually tinatanong ng ACS sa employers? Verification lang ba ng kung ano nakasulat sa employment certficate? or may iba pa?

Guys, just for confirmation. let say may result na ang skills assessment mo, sa DIAC po ba iccount pa din ung work experience mo kung hindi sya kasama doon sa pinaassess mo during skills assessment pero related naman sa nominated occupation?. Lately ko lang kasi nakuha ung COE ko sa previous company ko kya di na napasama sa skills ass..

in my opinion isama mo yan basta check mo mabuti kung di conflict sa binigay mo na date sa application ng assessment kasi di ba may mga date naman yan magkakasunod. sa Visa application kasi itatanung ulit kung anu yung mga naging work experience from your first job. kaya dapat ingat sa pag fill up lalo sa mga date na inilalagay dapat consistent lahat kung anu nakalagay sa cetificate of employment o other documents. cheers

Please help me check if I'm ready to submit for an ACS assessment, so that my money and time wont go to waste.

My School is Category 2. My Course BS Information Technology, my Age is 28.

For Work Experience:

***Software Tester for 1 year and 3 months (Printer Company MNC).

***Technical Support for 1 year (2 different companies, with reason for leaving for each company). This is a call center experience, we transfer from Cebu to Manila that's why I keep on changing employers.

***System Administrator for 1 year and 5 months (overseas, MNC).

***System Administrator for 1 year and 2 months up to present (overseas, MNC).

My total work experience is more or less 5 years.

Nagconsult na din ako sa Migration Agent tapos sabi nya I qualify for a 176 kahit na ung experience ko sa skill na ni nominate ko na System Admin is less than 3 years, d ko alam if totoo eh.. Kaya nagtatanong ako sa mga may experience na.

hello alexamae!... dito ko nagpa-CTC - K S LOO & CO 141 Cecil Street #10-03 Tung Ann Association Building Singapore 069541 Singapore, Raffles Place 069541 Tel: 62250311... call ka muna para siguradong andun yung lawyer/notary public, parang mas ok dyan kesa sa ibang natawagan ko before... sa iba kasi pag wala dun yung lawyer ipapaiwan yung docs then papabalikan sayo or set ka pa ng appointment. 5sgd and 1sgd succeeding page of the same document, yung may dry seal ata ang mas mahal 10sgd pero ndi naman na kailangan yung dry seal.

Pede ka din mag-search dito kung san mas malapit sayo http://www.sal.org.sg/content/LI_np_dir.aspx na pareho lang ang bayad.
