@onesilvertwo from other forums month & date stated for PIM 3 is the deeming date, the date that ACS 'deem' that you became qualified in your profession for the purpose of migration.

    Yun pala yun hehe :)

"This is ACS's calculation of the time component of your skills acquisition - whether you were required to prove 4, 6 or 8 years, this is when they say that the period was completed."

Yung s akin kse as of May 2007. Meaning, dun nag-start yung 1 year of qualification ko. Parang ganon ata.

So ito ang question ko.. i have 4years and 1month in PHILS and 11months in AUS.

Thank you! Mga-dilang anghel tayong lahat sa isa't isa! ^_^

@mimaahk: i know i should have asked this prior to lodging my ACS assessment but here goes: nung nag fill up ako sa form sa employment portion, wala akong nakitang option sa date of employment na "to present"... kasi currently employed pa din ako sa company pero di naman pwede e leave blank so i just chose any allowable future date so i can proceed... did you encounter that? i hope it won't pose any problem sa assessment ko :(

i just have a few questions regarding ACS.

I'm a graduate of BS Computer Science since 2000 and currently employed as a Sys/Net Admin. below is a brief history sa current job ko.

Senior IS/IT Specialist (Systems engineer) - 1yr and 9 months
    Sys/Net/Dbase Admin - 2yrs and 4 months

base sa employment ko above, qualified na ba ako for skilled migration and also ano ang gagamitin kong code is 262113 Systems Administrator or 263111 Computer Network and Systems Engineer?

dun ba sa COE kailangan meron din sa previous employer or pwede na sa current na lang? hindi ko kasi sure kung operating pa yung company ko dati. employed naman ako doon as systeme engineer for about two years din.

@mimaahk Congrats! IELTS na lang, ok ka na.. Paano mo po nadiscuss ung detailed projects mo? Ilang projects? and ilang pages inabot? TIA!
@wisha thanks! oo IELTS nalang then next stage na.

Sa detailed Employment of Certificate nag-list down lang ako ng at least 5 main duties and responsibilities… more of focus kung anong programming language, technical skills and other technical and functional responsibilities kaya one page lang each COE ko in a company letter head.

Yung specific projects sa statutory declaration ko yan nilagay, lahat ng projects na involve ako dineclare ko with description…including main duties and responsibilities in each project… several pages including artefacts (i.e. payslips, certificates, employment contracts, etc.)

Sa statdec ang ginamit kong template is yung andito http://www.ag.gov.au/statdec Commonwealth of Australia of Statutory Declaration Act of 1959... kung sa Australian Embassy kayo magpapa-sign, “witnessing of document” ang tawag nila no need for appointment kahit lunch time open sila, dito sa Singapore 27sgd lang… alam ko mas cheaper compared sa mga local SG lawyers/notary public which is around 40sgd and may sarili silang template... siguro pag dyan sa Pinas mas cheaper pa din. :)

I think mas nirereview nila yung hard copies ng requirements... so don’t worry, positive result din yan sigurado :)

@katlin924 congrats!!! Kakaloka talaga kapag ndi pa expected lumabas ang result hehe.

Oo nga medyo nakakalito kung ilang points ang pede mo ma-claim… in my opinion, you’ll get 10pts.

Sabi dito… Overseas and Australian Skilled Employment – Points –
“You can claim points for both Australian skilled employment and overseas skilled employment and this may be from a combination of both Australian and overseas employment experience provided it was undertaken in the last 10 years.
The maximum number of points that can be awarded for Australian or overseas employment experience or combinations of both is 20 points.”

assuming that my two employers agreed that i make a draft COE and they will just sign it, ok lang ba na parehas ang format o magka-iba dapat?

    thanks thanks.

@alnr for my 2 employers, they allowed me to draft the COE, di ko siya pinagkamukha. I changed few wordings. There's a lot of ways you can change the 1st part (name, inclusive dates, position, salary, kung permanent, kung full-time of part-time).

"This is to certify that abcd efg has been a full-time(40 hrs per week), permanent employee of xyz company as analyst programmer from jun 1, 2004 to jan 1, 2006. His last drawn salary was PHP 45,000 with monthly allowance of PHP 2000.00."

"This is to certify that abcd efg was a permanent employee of xyz company. He held a full-time(40 hrs per week) position of software engineer from jan 2, 2006 to feb 1, 2010. His monthly salary was PHP 50, 000.00."

Sa 2nd part which will enumerate the duties and responsibilities, ibahin mo din.

This is just my opinion, maaaring sa iba, they used the same format and it worked for them. Pero I suggest na magkaiba ng wording.

Hi Guys, Can someone please help provide documents required by ACS? I am currently working as a Business Analyst (w/ 6 years experience), however, im quite confused re submitting 2 Project Reports (RPL). Is it really a requirement kahit na Im a graduate of BS Computer Science? Thanks in Advance! =)

Hi @almond, if you're a graduate of BS ComSci, you don't need to submit for RPL. :)

@katlin924 Thanks for the prompt reply! Also, how detailed ba ang Certificate of Employment? Kasi normally, employers would only go for the current position and the dates you are employed in their company. I've read some forums and sabi -- dapat meron specific roles and responsibilities/tasks inclued in the CoE. :D

@almond asa FAQ po ng ACS,

    22. What information needs to be contained within the employer reference?

    This Reference should:

show the official company or government department letterhead of the organisation which employed you
show in the letterhead the full address of the company, any telephone and fax numbers, email and website addresses
be from your supervisor or the manager of the human resources department –references from colleagues at the same level or below are not suitable
be signed by an authorised person whose name and position is typed or stamped below the signature – a signature which cannot be identified will not be accepted and include the following information:
    • the direct contact number of the person writing the reference
    • the exact period of employment
    • the required working hours per week
    • whether that employment was permanent or temporary
    • whether the employment was full-time or part-time
    • the position(s) held
    • the main duties undertaken
    • the salary earned

Positions should not be described by generic titles, but according to the nature of the duties undertaken.

Letters of appointment or contracts are not accepted.

Hi @almond, you can refer to the one @wisha stated.

Also, as for your worry, you can just ask your employer to give you a certificate of employment with your job description. You can tell them that you need it for Visa application. Just don't mention that it's for immigrant application. Hehe. :)

hi guys, quick question lang regarding COE. i was employed July 2007 as a system support engineer and was promoted 2009 as a system administrator. last year i requested for a COE and what was written there was that i am employed since 2007 with a designation of system admin. for ACS ba yung duties and responsibilities ko as a system administrator ang ilalagay ko from 2007 to present? no need to put the system support engineer as long as my employer will sign it?

    many thanks..
