@Cassey Hi! hindi siya CI eh. She provides continuing education yata sa staff nurses. Thank you :)

Hi guys. I need your opinion po sana about my situation po.
I'm a nurse here in kuwait since feb 2016, pero underprocess pa din po kasi yung license ko po dito until now. I informed my agency about my license na underprocess and ang sabi nila ay okay lang yun na ideclare sa cv na working ako as a nurse dito pero hindi nalang namin idedeclare sa agos40 na registered ako dito sa kuwait. Since walang hesitations and with all confidence yun sinabi ng agent, naniwala naman ako and we submitted my application last july. Few weeks later, we received an initial feedback from ahpra requiring me to submit a certificate of good standing from kuwait. Since underprocess yung license ko, hindi ako makakapagprovide ng good standing certificate. So nagpasa nalang po ako sa ahpra ng statutory declaration from my head nurse regarding the situation of my license as adviced by the agency na din po. Then, few weeks later, I received a notice of withdrawal of my application from ahpra kasi po hindi ko po nasubmit yung good standing cert na hinihingi nila before the deadline. I wish to reapply po sana. Ano po kayang kelangan kong gawin? Do i need to submit again everything? :D

if ano yung nka.lagay sa CV mo eh dapat nka.reflect din sa AGOS40 mo. so if nilagay mo na nurse ka sa kuwait sa CV mo, hahanapan ka talaga ng COGS ng AHPRA. beforehand if alam mong hindi ka mkakapagprovide ng COGS, wag na lang ideclare (opinion ko lang, unless kaya mong ipaliwanag sa AHPRA sitwasyon mo and mg.okay cla). For me kasi, I worked din sa middle east for 2 yrs but then nhirapan ako mgprovide ng COGS kaya d ko na dineclare sa CV and AGOS40. wla namang problema. nkuha ko nmn ang letter of referral from AHPRA @eli_hope

@sunshineee28 I would like to ask your thoughts regarfing my case. Maybe you can enlighten me on how to go about it.

Can I still apply for BRIDGING Course even I do not have the Saudi License? I just finished my 2 years contract in Saudi this August as a Homecare Nurse. I got my COE and Staff Nurse and position na nka indicate dun. But my main problem is, many nurses in our clinic was not able to take Saudi prometric Exam thats why we do not have the Saudi License.

Will my 2 years experience be recognized if I apply in APHRA for Bridging course? Or should I just consider taking Conversion course since bka forfeited din ung exp q sa Saudi?

Thank you @sunshineee28 .. Oo nga po e.. Tama talaga mga sinabi mo.. Dapat talaga ganun yung ginawa ko.. And sana hindi nalang talaga ako naniwala sa agency.. That's why hesitant talaga ako na ideclare yun at first since hindi ako makakapagprovide ng cogs.. But because of the assurance I got from the agency napaOo ako sa idea nila.. Right now ano po kaya yung pwede ko pang gawin since nawithdraw yung application ko?

Baka meron ka pa nmn work/experience other than sa saudi?

Kasi dun sa last email na nareceive ko po from ahpra nakastate din doon na parang, if the applicant wishes to reapply, the documents will be kept on file and may be reconsidered. Parang ganun. So hindi talaga sya mawawala.

Actually, I took and passed the Saudi Prometric Exam already, but was not able to get Saudi License. I was not issued license because of my Dataflow problem. Do you happen to have any idea if I can still get my license even if I am already here in Phil?

God bless you all po!

@bahraindiaz If you have an experience as a Nurse for at least 3months in the past 5years then you will be eligible for a bridging course. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you can’t find a job just because you don’t have a hospital experience. There are a lot of job vacancies for nurses and at the end of the day it will all boil down on yourself, on your commitment and determination to achieve what you want. You will never know unless you try so don’t let anyone’s negativity dampen your spirit. :)

Hello . Im new in this forum. Ive been reading alot of post and its very helpful. May ask lang po ako kasin im working here s Dubai wala po ko license .and status ko s company is nurse admin kasi wala ako license. pero ang lahat ng ginagawa ko is as ophtha nurse. I talked to my medical director and he told me that he can give a recommendation letter na even yung title ko sa visa is as admin.. he will indicate na lahat ng duties and responsibilities ko is as a nurse kung gagamiting ko sya outside UAE . May 2 years experience ako s pinas 2012 and 1 year dito s UAe as home nursing which is 2013 . I dont know if i ggrant ako ng APHRa for bridging program. Ive read before na meron ibang nurse dito s forum na nilagay nila na they worked as nurse kaya hinanapan sila ng good standing.. i dont know if pag nilagay ko as Admin and clinical assistant papayag ang APHRA.
Please please need some advice po what i should do.

@fishball2017 Marami namang vacancies, just google the websites of the hospitals here in Au or Aged Care facilities and submit your resume. You can also submit through agencies. You may wanna search regional hospitals as well. As long as you’re an Au RN and have a valid visa to work here, you have a chance at it. More so if you have hospital experience.

@eyenurse If you have at least 3mos experience AS A NURSE within the last 5yrs prior to application, then you can apply for a bridging. Unfortunately, because you have a complicated case there is really no clear cut answer to your question. You can try to email them if they will consider your application on the basis that the scope of your responsibilities are that of a nurse even if the title says differently. Just make your email brief and straight to the point because sometimes if it’s too long, they might tell you to just submit your documents for assessment.

@eyenurse usually pg mg declare ka na you worked as a nurse from another country outside australia, hinahanapan ng good standing. and i believe binibigay lang yan if you are registered as a nurse. naging problem yan sa isang ka forum, dineclare nya tas wala xa ma submit na cogs. ayun fail yung assessment. but as per cassey, email ahpra nalang

@amira Hi, you are eligible for a bridging course as long as your work experience is recent. Just like what I’ve always been telling applicants, there are a lot of job vacancies for nurses. If you are referring to sponsorship, there are hospitals who sponsor but it’s not as many as how it was years ago. Usually ang nabibigyan ng sponsorship yung may specialization and yung may hospital experience for 3yrs and up.
