Hello. You can refer to my previous comments in this topic, a few pages back.

In summary, what worked for me was Jimmysem's tips for most sections, especially Describe Image and Retell Lecture. ALL his resources are free on Youtube. Practical teacher siya. Another resource I recommend is E2 Language. You can sign up on the website and they have a free trial. May resources din sila for free on Youtube. I find Jay of E2 Language helpful as Summarize Written Text and Essay.

I also encourage that you do a mock test. Buy the one from the official PTE website so you can really gauge kung saang area ka okay and saan need improvement.

Hi guys. I'm still preparing for my exam. I just discovered na mas ok to practice Speaking in PTE Success app. Mas reliable yung result, even Jimmyssem's technique for Describe Image works (nakakuha ako ng 89). Though for Retell Lecture, using Jimmyssem's, around 60 lang nakuha in two free trials. Pero I will still use Jimmyssem's sa actual exam.

Now, I'm using PTE Success app for speaking, ApeUni for others, and will take PTE Gold Kit mock test. I have also watched all Jay's video covering all 20 topics. Very helpful yung Summarize Written Text and Essay as previously said by kathc, trying it in ApeUni.

Yung PTE Success pala may bayad for VIP, 539php/month.

Also, may bagong vid si Jimmyssem pertaining to changes in PTE Exam by November 16, 2021. You might want to check that out as well.

Hello po. Magtatanong lang po sana ako sa mga nag-avail ng mock test fom Pearson kung after po sagutan yung test, pwede po ulit balikan say, after two days? May nakalagay kasi na note po bago magproceed na,"3 hour single use scored practice test." Ang interpretation ko po kasi is once na na-open na, di mo na pwedeng balikan/gamitin ulit since single use po yung term. Thank you very much sa sasagot.

Hi @AnneNapenas14, katatapos ko lang po i-take yung 1st mock test ko from Pearson. Single use lang po sya. After that naka-lock na yung test.

Lesson learned the hard way after taking the mock test:
1. Use good quality headphone with mic. Ang ginamit ko lang po ay earphone from my samsung phone, sadly di narecognize yung buong Speaking task ko. I scored 10 which is basically zero. And that also affects my score in other categories.
2. Condition or prepare yourself for a 3-hour exam. First time ko po kasi mag mock test, not yet even trying ApeUni mock test. Draining sya, sa gitna gusto ko na umayaw. Hehe. Nasanay kasi ako na per task lang ang practice everyday.
3. Prepare your written materials right away. Nakalimutan ko iprepare, naghanap pa ako while taking the exam.
4. Practice yourself to read instructions and take note of the running time. It takes time to absorb what task you are going to do, dala na rin ng adrenaline at nerbyos. Plus the timer itself will not show 20min or 10 min interval for each task, continuous lang sya for the whole exam part.

Sobrang dami kong mali during my first mock test but I believe eto yung reason why we are taking mock test exams. Kahit na feeling ko very prepared na ako, ang laki pa rin ng kailangan kong improvement. So practice, practice, and practice lang talaga to the point na parang muscle memory nalang ang nangyayare.

Para sa akin mas madali yung actual exam, parang mas madali yung questions, o baka nakaswerte lang. Nakatulong na rin siguro yung practice at pagkuha ng 2 mock exams. 😅

Hello everyone. I had my exam last October 8 and got the results also few hours later. It was my first time to take the exam. I just got 74. Naunahan ako ng nerbios since naririnig ko yung katabi ko. Wala na rin akong balak mag exam ulit since di talaga ako sanay sa maingay na environment hahah I just wanna thank you all guys for answering my queries. God bless.

Hi @Lois, congrats po. Ang taas po ng nakuha nyo. Tanong ko lang po kung ilang weeks/months kayo nagreview at gaano po kadalas ang practice nyo? Nakailang mock test din po kayo? Thank you.

I'm currently on my 2nd month of review. Tumagal kasi di ako nakakuha ng slot. October 30 pa po exam ko. For my 1st month, pinanuod ko lahat ng vids ni Jay plus konting practice. Then this month, puro practice na. Pero kinakabahan pa rin ako because I'm also aiming for a 79+ points.

Any words of advice/motivation na rin po. Thank you so much!

Nag take ako ng exam nung Oct8 sa Trident. Nakuha yung results ng mga madaling araw ng Oct9.

2 points away from superior, Ugh. Nakaka-frustrate. Magpapa-assess muna ko sa EA, then sabak ulit PTE.
Try lang ng try. It'll be worth it!
