Pero yung waiting area, better than RELC, mas organized.

Speaking - nag stutter ako sa describe image kasi yung naunang topic nakakatawa: Relation of Anxiety and Time of Day to Arousal and Performance. 😂 Nag tuloy-tuloy na hanggang dulo. (3 items)

Listening - I know ma-perfect ko 'to kasi sure ako sa WFD and Repeat Sentence 100%.

Reading - at least consistent na mababa sya talaga sa lahat ng attempts ko. Haha.

Writing - template: E2 Language, maxed out 300 words.

Hello. Basta after mo po magsalita at narecord na, inext mo na po. Wag mo na po hintayin na matapos ang buong time for recording.

Pwede naman mag next agad. I just want to make sure na narecord talaga yung answer ko, kaya i always wait for the "completed" sign. The recorder can identify silence / looong pause, then saka na sya mag auuto complete.

Never naman ako kinapos sa time sa speaking part. I consider the remaining time as a slack na din. Personally, ayaw ko dere-deretso magsalita since hindi ko sure ilang items pa ba yung natitira haha. Para may rest din.

Ang malakas makabawas sa points sa speaking is yung pag stutter talaga. As long as you speak within the time frame given for each test, okay yun.

Anyone here who recently took the exam and used the template of Jimmysem for DI and RL and got 90 in Speaking? Gusto ko lang po maverify if still working pa rin gamitin or kung affected na siya dun sa enhancement ng PTE exam. TIA

Plan ko po gamitin template ni jimmyssem sa DI, RL at WE. Effectivepo ba? Lalo na yung WE?
Maka superior po kaya sa mga mock test results ko na to? Salamat po

Mock test results looks good 👍 sa akin bagsak pa nga ibang modules at overall sa mock test pero nakuha naman sa actual exams

Ginamit ko po yung template ni Milestone Study for both DI and RL, check niyo po sa youtube. Similar lang sya kay jimmysem, pero para sakin mas simple. I got 90 in Speaking and took my test last SEP 20. Just speak clearly and wag masyadong nagmamadali magsalita

1. Be familiar with the exam types. If kaya mo bumili ng mock tests sa APEuni. Do it. Sobrang worth it nito kasi di ka mabibigla sa exam types sa mismong exam.
2. Focus on the big items: Repeat Sentence, Write from Dictation, Essay, Read Aloud.
3. Wag masyado mag worry. I didn’t used templates specially for speaking kasi di ako magaling magkabisado. For Describe Image and Retell Lecture just speak freely and don’t rush. Para may time ka mag isip.
4. Watch Jimmysem, E2 Language. Dyan ako nag rely. Pero mas ginamit ko na reference sa speaking si E2 Language. Yung ikaw talaga magcoconstruct ng sentences mo.
5. On test day: maaga gumising at umalis ng bahay. Wag buzzer beater. (Like me, muntik pa ma-late). May around 10-20 mins na biometric collection na ginagawa si PTE. Also, after macollect biometrics, sabay sabay kayo mag start ng mga batchmates mo.
6. On ACE Makati, yung headphones ay okay naman. Just make sure na fit sya sayo. And you can cover your ears over the headphones para mabawasan yung ingay sa room (around 8 kami nung test). Unli yung pagtest sa mic and headset before magstart ng exam. And if may problem just raise your hand.
7. Practice speaking test ng may noise similar sa test day. Mayroong video si Jimmysem. Yun ginamit ko noong nagrereview ako.
8. Also, practice taking notes, dito ako sa tingin ko nahila ng writing. Kasi yung ibang part sa listening yung summarize spoken text? Ang haba ng kinukwento ng speaker di ako nakasabay sa take notes.

Practice lang don’t sweat it. May chance naman umulit.

+1 sa lahat specifically mock test and #4.
In case you really want to rely on a "template", for me it's better to use E2 Language since it teaches you HOW to read/listen/write/speak -- more of a method siya. Unlike Jimmysem's which teaches you exactly WHAT to do, para syang cheatsheet na kelangan mo na lang kabisaduhin. Whichever works for you and mas madali actually. If you're good with memorization, go use a template.
