@stef23 well, I guess, take another shot. Book ka uli. Parang mas matagal pa kasi ung waiting time ng rescore, na hindi naman sure kung tataas ung score. Who knows, baka ma-20points mo pa, edi wala ka na problem sa EOI mo

@kholoudmanlucu @stef23 based sa mga nababasa ko sa ibang forums, pati din dito, bihira or very few ung mga nagttry magparecore. Since ganun din ung process na gagawin nila sa pagcheck, considering computer din uli magchecheck. Nabasa ko sa ibang forums, di ko lang mahanap, rescore or appeal is suggested if there is something wrong in your test, testing room, pc, headset, etc. There is a high chance magretain lang din ung scores kasi computer lang din naman magrerecheck. Though you may still try if you want. but for the cost of rescore, I think, retake is better. pwede mo pa mapataas previous scores mo to 79+. Though, this is just my opinion.

Kaya hindi na rin ako nagparescore. And according sa handbook:
Requesting a rescore
If you are unhappy with your PTE Academic score, you may request a rescore. Before doing this, test takers should take the following into
consideration:
• PTE Academic is automatically rescored; therefore, it is unlikely that your overall scores will change.
• Only spoken responses and open-ended written responses are rescored.
• In the unlikely event that your score changes, it may go up or down.
• If your score changes, it will replace your previous score.
You may only request a rescore of your most recent PTE Academic test. You can not request a rescore if you have already either
scheduled another test or sent your score to an institution.
To order a rescore, you must contact Pearson Customer Service within 14 calendar days of your score report being made available to you.
The fee for rescores is available from the Customer Service team. In the unlikely event that either your Overall, Communicative Skills or
Enabling Skills scores change, the rescore fee will be fully refunded.

nagretake ako nung November 30. Nagtry ako sa ibang center. Pero ganun pa din ang weakness ko yung speaking. Although sa IELTS ko nakaka 7.5, 7, or 6.5 ako. Iba siguro ang scoring ng computer. Kaya nagbabasa basa ako ng mga tips ditto sa forum. Plan ko uli mag 3rd retake nxt year, baka matsambahan. Ganyan din ako nadisappoint msyado and nag iisip kung ganun ba kasama ang speaking ko, hehhee. Pero ganun talaga. Try na lang ulit.

I'm scared of the results now, I just took the exam and ang dami kong mali, lalo na sa speaking, I can't understand the repeat sentence that much, and I stammered during describe image.

@psalms5110 ako wala nareceive na email. but yung status ko sa pearson account is nagbago. na-update sya stating na I already took the exam. then ung email na nareceive ko lang is ung score na.
"SCORE REPORT INFORMATION
The score report for the PTE Academic appointment listed above is now available online."

@iam_juju hi.. Kapag may indentation ka, walang space in between paragraphs. But if you need to put a space, kahit block format lang yung paragraph mo; parang naka-justify left sha sa MS Word

@stef23 - most of us here ganyan ang problem speaking pte-a. specially if we try to compare sa ielts results. scoring in gold kit speaking section is indicative of actual, so looks like may mga adjustments sa speaking na kelangan gawin to ace pte-a kung di maganda un result ng mock. what i get from this forum is the use of a template, which i had found convenient from my actual test yesterday. un lang i have yet to see the results if it has worked nga in my case. i think template addresses fluency pero un pronounciation if may problem din baka ibang technique kelangan.

Gusto ko pong mag pasalamat sa lahat ng nagbigay ng tips dito lalu na mars filipinac at sa lahat ng nagsasabi na wag susuko sa laban.. Wag po tayo magwawalan ng pag asa..sa tips po I followed Zaire's at effective sya.. Sa opinyon ko wag nyo pong madalin kung sa tingin nyo may kulang pa duon sa particular module na mahina.. Yung first take ko last July 23, lagpak ako dun sa tatlo at Speaking lang pinasa ko so inaral ko muna yung 3 bago ako nagtake ulit.. Eto po ang topic ko sa Writing

Sa Listening, I listened sa mga BBC Podcast, CNN, para masanay ang tenga sa accent nila.. Sa Speaking ang dami namin halos puno yung PTE Makati.. Tuloy tuloy lang at wag hihinto pero dapat natural ang dating hindi minamadali.. Hayaan nyong maputol ang 40seconds.. Yung describe image ko at re-tell lecture ko eh mas mahirap compared sa dati .. I was not expecting yung Speaking ko na ganyan kataas ksi I got conscious dun sa mga katabi ko kasi kung ano ano sinasabi ko particulary re-tell lectures grabe about galaxy tapos yung isa education sa UK OECD etc..

Sa Reading since mabagal ang comprehension ko, nagbasa muna akong libro and etong website na ito.. While reading this, my timer ako.. Ok ito na practice kasi mahirap yung parajumbles nila at Reading comprehension topics. Super helplful nya...Yung catword pandit sayang under renovation ang website nila ok din yun .. Any reading materials are helpful basta everyday lang po magbasa for at least one hour a day..

Ngayon lang ulit naka reply, nag bakasyon kasi, last time 461 pts sa Can, tapos naging 460 pts na, ayun may invite na rin kami yehey .

Pwede ka apply ng invite for PnP dun para bigyan ka nila 600pts. Nakakuha rin kami PnP sa Ont, pero dahil may direct invite na eh mukhang di na namin avail yun, may bayad din kasi $1500 CAD.

Medyo OT na hehe. Mukhang may invite kana rin ngayon sa NSW?

@psalms5110 hello po bale ang ginawa ko eh nilakasan ko ang boses ko.. Yung mic mga 1 inch ang layo wag mo ibaba ang mic.. during the exam, just speak natural as possible wag mo habulin yung 40seconds.. tuloy tuloy dapat.. wag kang mag pause at bawasan ang fillers like ums etc..imposible naman talagang maexplain mo yung graph/re-tell sa ganun kaiksing segundo.. just give yung mga keywords (highs and lows)..hayaan mong maubos yung green bar nagsasalita ka padin.. yung hindi mo trip yung practice materials at you find it difficult to explain, yung print ads sa dyaryo at mga pictures interesado kang iexplain, explain mo in your own words para masanay ka

sa read aloud with feelings dapat as if you are reciting it in a classroom..Practice reading everyday.. I have a niece na tamad magbasa so ang ginawaga ko e nagbabasa kami ng mga disney stories so nakatulong yun .. I hope nakatulong ako kahit konti.. pasodo ka naman ah. Need mo ba 20 points?
